I signed up for a *** credit card on Rates.ca cuz they were offering a $100 *** Gift Card if I got approved on March 6. Been using the card for more than 3 months now, but still haven't got the promised gift card. I've contacted them a bunch of times, through phone and email, but they keep saying they'll "check it out" and then never get back to me. It's so frustrating, man.

I signed up for the *** credit card with ratesdotca in Nov 2022 and they said I'd get a $200 gift card. But I didn't get it, so I messaged them in Dec 2022. They said they'd talk to *** but I had to message them a bunch more times and they kept saying they were checking. But now it's March 2023 and they're not answering anymore.

I saw an ad on Rates.ca for a Tangerine credit card with a $100 gift card sign up bonus in March. But I never got it. I've called customer service like 4 times and they keep blaming someone else who works for a company called ***. That person never called me back and even the last rep I talked to said they'd contact me, but they didn't. I want the ComplaintsBoard.com to help me out.

I signed up for a *** credit card through Rates.ca in December 2022, lured in by their promise of a 200$ sign up bonus. But guess what? I still haven't received it! I've reached out to their customer service a bunch of times (like, at least 4 times) and they still haven't given me my bonus. I even went through their internal complaint process and filed a missing cashback inquiry over 5 weeks ago. But after all that waiting (5 whole weeks of internal inquiry and over 2 months since I applied), I still haven't gotten anything. It's so frustrating! I'm thinking about getting the ComplaintsBoard.com involved.

So I went on Rates.ca to apply for a credit card and they said I'd get a $100 gift card. I got approved for the card, but they never sent the gift card. I checked the status and it kept saying "pending". They emailed me saying I had to do something else, but I already did everything they asked. When I called them, they wouldn't tell me why they didn't send the card. They said I didn't finish my Tangerine application, but that's not true because I got the card already. I'm not gonna activate the credit card until I get the gift card. I'm telling the credit department about this so they know why I haven't used the card yet.

I tried using Rates.ca to find a good deal on car insurance, but I was disappointed with the results. The website was easy enough to use, but the quotes I received were all much higher than what I was currently paying. I tried adjusting my coverage options and deductible, but nothing seemed to make a difference. I also noticed a few spelling errors and typos on the website, which made me question the legitimacy of the site. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Rates.ca for finding car insurance quotes.

I tried out Rates Dot Ca (RATES) because they had a deal for a "FREE $200 cash on select Scotiabank credit cards". I signed up on November 01, 2022 and got an email from Scotiabank (SB) saying my new credit card was on its way. I checked RATES website for several days to see the status of my $200 offer, but it kept saying "pending". I asked about it on December 12, 2022 and a RATES Customer Service Advisor (RCSA) said it could take up to 5 weeks to hear back. I asked for an update on December 21, 2022, and the RCSA said there were longer delays than normal due to the popularity of the promotion. The RCSA sent me a $25 gift card for my troubles. I asked for another update on January 09, 2023, and the RCSA said Scotiabank did not approve the gift card because they couldn't find an active account. I asked for a contact at SB, but RATES didn't give me one, so I called SB myself. I spent over 4 hours talking with SB employees over 2 weeks who couldn't find evidence that SB was contacted and denied RATES offer. I told the RCSA on January 25, 2023, what I learned from SB. My account was active for over 2 months with 2 monthly statements, but SB didn't understand why RATES would refuse the offer. The RCSA already submitted a 2nd inquiry on January 09, so I said I would wait another 5 weeks. On February 14, I asked for an update, and the RCSA said they were still waiting on SB for the second inquiry. I said I would wait 1 more week. It's February 22, 2023, and I'm tired of dealing with RATES.
