Purchased through florida elementary school fundraiser. Voucher states "for faster service, activate your subscription at www. Magselect.com" and "for faster service redeem online at www. Magselect.com". Three (3) people using four (4) different computers tried several times to activate at url and have always received message that they cannot deliver outside the us. However, we are receiving in the us and less than 100 miles from their tampa address. Called company after thirty (30) minutes on hold was was verbally berrated by a rude customer service representative who eventually told me i had to physically send in the voucher instead of online activation. She acted like i was stupid because i didn't already know that. I explained what the voucher said. She must have found me humorous because she laughed. Have yet to receive magazine ordered (30 days later) .

I bought a Magazine Voucher in December for 3 years of Real Simple Magazine. I activated it in March and still have not received a Magazine . I tried again today and the online code is denied. How long does it take to get the first issue? Please start sending the Magazine or return the $40.

I ordered All You magazine through school fund raising. Once I got my voucher through www.magselect.com. I realized I cannot order online.I called Magselect, a representative tells me. All You company stopped thei r publication. I am very disapointed! I had to choose a different magazine or called middle school demanded my $30.00 back. Their representative will not reimbursed my money. she tells me its the school responsibility. It doesn't make no sense at all. The school is not making a profit. They received a small portion. Www.magselect.com is currently making money to ripped customers off. I called ALL You company and found out it is true that they stopped their publication with www.magselect.com. Never buy magazines from school fundraising forever. I never had problems before until now. it doesn't say in their fine print about any changes when it becomes unavailable.

Apparently the same issues and more still exist with this fundraising program. I do not want to order online. I have my prepaid $15 voucher handy and have contacted the company's #800, to be redirected to Customer Service for the Magazine (TV Guide) twice to obtain the Magazine Code Number. I have also contacted the customer service number provided by Magselect in their complaint response above. I was asked several times for the online code, after I made it clear (or so I thought) that I did not want to order online. This is their way of activating your code without processing your order.
When speaking to a Sales Rep @ TV Guide they are unaware of the code I am referring to and redirect me back to MagSelect. I suspect and am usually right-on-point, that this is a SCAM. Customers unknowingly prepay for a product they will never receive - and MagSelect walks away with millions of academic fundraising money! All I want is the code so I can place my order through US Mail. I will be reporting this to Consumer Affairs today!

Tried activating my voucher online and keep getting message to go to magazinesupport@customersvc.com. no luck there either. Will mail my voucher in and see what happens. Not very optimistic. Will not order from a school fundraiser again selling magazines from this company.

I wrote a check for all magazine - 15 issues. This was through a school fund raiser. The check was written sept. 29th. 2012. It was cashed in oct. , can't make out the date. The school was west michigan academy of environmental science in grand rapids, mi.
I have not recieved any issues. This is not honest of this company. The kids go out to raise money for their schools through what they think is an honest company. The customers suffer because they do not get what they paid for. From reading the comments on this company, they sound far from reliable. Please send me my subscription, it is paid for. Now deliver!

This company was involved in a school fund raiser selling magazines, they advertize an assortment of magazines, but when you receive the form to start your subscription only certain magazines are available.

I DON'T THINK THE DIRECTIONS ARE CLEAR ENOUGH. FIRST OF ALL THERE IS A COMPETING COMPANY THAT FOOLS YOU. YOU MUST FIRST CLICK ON MAGSELECT.COM AND THEN GO TO THE ONE THAT SAY DEFACE THE OVERLAY. AND IT WILL TAKE YOU RIGHT THERE. THE DEFACE OVERLAY IS FIRST LISTING ON MY COMPUTER. THE OTHER MAGAZINE COMPANY IS GIVING THIS COMPANY A BAD WRAP. SURE HOPES THIS HELPS YOU.

I used the 'website' provided by magselect in their response shown above (I copied & pasted it). It took me right to their home page with a box for the activation code very prominent toward the top. I entered the activation code. It then allowed me to choose the magazine that I wanted (yes, I wish there was more to select from, but I found something that I liked). Then I answered a few questions about mailing as well as a few survey type questions. It appears that they either listened to their 'critics' or the prior reviewers weren't getting to the correct website. I know this because when I tried getting there from Google & Bing, it took me to weird web pages which didn't resemble the actual website for magselect at all. I would suggest that anyone wanting to get to the correct website, copy & paste what the company has listed above & go from there. I'm hoping to get my new magazine within 6-8 weeks - which, by the way, is a normal response time for getting a new subscription.

My only "complaint" is the very small selection of magazines. Had it been explained to me that I could not combine vouchers, I would not have bought 5 - $10 vouchers. I just made the assumption that if I wanted to spend more than one at a time that I could, to have more selections, more expensive magazines, etc...

The instruction says: Enter the 10 digit Online Redemption Code. OK, Enter WHERE?
I've been looking at the homepage for 5 minutes now and I couldn't find out where to
enter the code. Send in the voucher? I don't trust them. I'll take the voucher back to the
school and make sure nobody is going to order anymore mags from magselect in the
future.

Correction: I was suckered by a www.magselection.com website that was higher in the queue than www.magselect.com. My apologies.

Magselect's response would have been useful if it had included a description of where to enter the 10 digit code. The only search bar on the website is for magazine titles, so I will be mailing mine in.

Tried to activate order on-line and it's been two moths and still no mail. This turned out to be a scam!

I purchased a magazine from my granddaughter's school fundraiser and could not activate the magazine on line. I followed the directions with no luck, it definitely isn't faster service as the voucher stated. I'm going to send it in instead.

I am definately turning this into the school PTA. What a rip off. It is bad enough that they are having little 5 year olds becoming hustlers, but to hustle a bad product on top of it is unbelievable.

I just called them and they are not taking calls. Has anyone reported them to the Better Bussiness Bureau?

I agree with everyone, about the magazine. i bought from a student, and I had the same issue with only a certain number of magazines. not the magazines that were advertised when you paid the student. Indeed a rip off!

I also purchased the subscription from a school child. When I received the voucher for the magazine I tried order online through the website they provided with no luck. I think this is a rip off and something should be done about it.

I signed up for a magazine with a neighbor child and hInstead of buying a $15.oo bag of popcorn I purchased a magazine.I had a selection of about 30- 40 magazines.I found one I wanted. When I received my pre-paid form I had 12 magazines to choose from.I DON'T LIKE ANY OF THE MAGAZINES! This was a total misrepresentation!Stop the rip off.Do not purchase these products from the children. In Wisconsin we have very high property taxes to pay for our schools. Why do we need the children to fund raise anyway? Just pass on it..the parents understand it's a rip off so dont worry about hurt feelings. is school fund raiser.

I too had a child sell these at school and when I recieved the voucher, the magazine I originally wanted was not even available and I really did not like any of the choices available. I now see where others have complained with the same thing and have also complained about never recieving the magazines period, so we will see! This WILL be my last purchase of the vouchers and I am going to contact the school and share with them the online complaints as well.
