Lunde Auto Sales review: Review/Complaints RE: Lunde Auto Sales, Wadena, MN

Lunde sold us a car in June 2025 with a lot of problems including a bad engine, radiator spitting fluid, defective brakes, and battery that kept dying. Their staff deleted problem codes and told us there wasn’t a problem when there were many. Lunde also never detailed the vehicle as they promised, instead it came back to us filthy, filled with a strong stench of tobacco and also with a small dent and large scratch keyed along the passenger side. Car found to have problems a day after purchase with engine problem light shining brightly on dashboard. These problems were reported to Lunde staff. This vehicle was under warranty and Lunde still has not repaired the vehicle, or returned our money. Staff avoided contact with us and were overall unresponsive to our multiple contacts. This vehicle is now an ornament in our yard instead of being the safe and reliable vehicle we trusted Lunde to provide our family with. We desperately needed a vehicle to transport our 12 year old son who has brain cancer to medical appointments. (I hit a deer with our prior vehicle and this nightmare of an experience with a Lunde vehicle was the result.) In our opinion, Lunde Auto Sales in Wadena, MN should receive a ZERO rating in comparison to the many other car dealers we have dealt with. I would definitely NOT recommend this dealership to others for a vehicle or vehicle care! We found the Lunde staff to be unprofessional, uncaring, not trustworthy and demonstrating a lack of knowledge.
