I bought a 03 Chevy Silverado from Southern Select Auto Sales Inc. and they gave me great service. They even went out of their way to make sure I was happy and they kept their word. I would recommend Southern Select Auto to anyone I know!

Watch out when buying from Southern Select Auto Sales Inc. I've been buying and selling cars for 35 years and I've never been fooled like this. Nick told me the truck was good, so I bought it without seeing it and had it delivered to Missouri. As soon as it was off the trailer, I heard a ticking noise. On the way to my mechanic, the engine light came on (probably because the code was cleared and it took a few miles to reset). My mechanic thinks it's an intake valve, which is expensive to fix. It's only been 2 weeks and 50 miles, and now the security system is having issues. Nick is a great salesman, but he's not honest. Do yourself a favor and get a 90-day warranty from these guys. I bought a 2007 Ford F250 Super Duty truck from this dealer in 11 of 2019. My wife and I went back to their lot today 11/28 to find a newer truck that didn't need a lot of work to keep it running and looking good. When we first looked at trucks in 2019, we were ignored for about 15 minutes before a salesman finally came out. Then suddenly, other customers showed up looking at the same trucks we were interested in. The same thing happened today! We were there for 10 minutes and a young couple showed up and immediately walked over to the first truck we looked at and the young man commented that they had a lot of nice trucks for sale. We were looking at various trucks because the first one we looked at was in bad shape. It looked much better in the Carfax photos. Finally, *** came out and asked if he could help. I told him I was interested in something newer and asked for a trade-in value on my vehicle. He asked how much I wanted for it and I told him, along with the mileage. I also told him I had bought my Ford a year earlier. He looked surprised and went to the office without even looking at our truck. We looked at more trucks and found many had similar problems as ours. A few more people showed up out of nowhere and were wandering around the lot. *** finally came back and I asked for my trade-in value. He said he didn't want to open the door to get the VIN number. I told him the truck I came to see was rough and a piece of crap. He said it looked rough in the pictures and I told him it looked nothing like the listing. He said he would have told me it was rough if I had called. At that point, I saw the young couple in the first truck we looked at. We tried to open the doors and they were locked. He wasn't even outside to give them the keys. I recommend doing your homework and using the NADA guide for values before going to this dealer. I won't recommend this guy to anyone. I'll put more money into my truck to keep it running and go somewhere else to trade it. Shame on me for giving them my hard-earned money. It won't happen again.

I bought a truck from Southern Select Auto Sales Inc. and it wasn't serviced properly. The Carfax mileage was incorrect and the air cleaner was clogged with body shop dust, which caused the intake to leak. The truck had one and a half quarts of oil too much in it. Two days after I got it, the driver's side window fell inside the door and I found out that the roof leaks. I think they give incorrect information to Carfax to sell the truck for more money. I paid $20,000 for the truck, but it should have been $15,000.

I got a truck from Southern Select Auto Sales at 920 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256. But not even 2 hours after I got it, all the brakes stopped working. I had it fixed, and it was okay for a bit. But then, a little over two weeks later, the front suspension control arms went out. I called the dealership, but they said they wouldn't help. And today, on 05/13, the truck just shut down in the middle of turning. There was a loud metal on metal bang, and now it won't drive or reverse. I can shift gears, but it just makes loud grinding noises and doesn't do anything. When they sold me the truck, they said it was inspected, in perfect condition, and everything worked. But on the same day I bought it, the brake lines snapped. They said they had "replaced" them, but they didn't. And they advertised that the truck had working 4WD, but it doesn't. The transfer case linkage is broken, and they didn't tell me that. They said it worked 100% fine.

I got a call from a sales guy named *** on January 29th. He told me to pay $3500 deposit for the truck through pay pal. So I sent the money. Later, they called me back and said I owe $350 for fees. I said I'm not paying for pay pal fees. They told me to bring $3500 in cash the next day and they'll send me back the money on pay pal. So I did. I gave them $3500 in cash. But they refused to send me back the money on pay pal. They blocked me on all communication channels like phone, text, and social media. They even threatened to beat me up if I go there. I disputed the $3500 charge with pay pal. *** went to the police and made a false claim for passing bad checks. But I never wrote them a check. They also said I never gave them cash when I did on January 30th when I picked up the truck. The same day, the truck broke down and the transmission broke. They refused to help me and threatened to call the police and ruin my life if I call them or come out there to return the truck. I paid $16,000 for this truck and gave them $5000 as a down payment. But they refuse to give me the extra $3500 back that was sent via pay pal. Now, I have to pay $2600 to have the transmission repaired.
