I decided to try LUMA and was set up with Christy as my matchmaker and found her to be very professional and a joy to work with. I find her very genuine and truly invested in what she does. Her advice for me to keep an open mind has impacted my life in such a way that I know she has my best interest at heart. I have a lot of confidence in LUMA and their ability to find me, my special someone. She has introduced me to many wonderful matches and my experience has been outstanding. Would recommend!

Like many others I have tried my and in the various dating apps and friend group recommendations with no luck. So, I took the chance on Luma after researching a number of different services. I've really enjoyed working with Cecilia. She' taken the time to get to know me and has been ready with feedback not only for my dates but also for me as an individuall. She has been true to the criteria that I would like in a match. It's been a great experiencen, and I look forward to hopefully finding the One with Luma. I would gladly recommend Luma to friends.

I've really enjoyed the matches I've gotten through Luma, they have all been complete gentleman and even if we didn't have sparks, I still had a great time. My matchmaker Katrina was always communicative and so easy to talk to, just a genuinely wonderful human being who seemed dedicated to putting me with people I would match with. She did her research, and I was never disappointed. She also picked really cool, trendy spots for the dates, so I was always excited to try what she'd set up. I wish everyone would use this service instead of the apps, it would save us all so much stress!

Sheri is extremely professional, detail-oriented, and uses a thorough vetting process. She matches you with high caliber potential and above all her warm-hearted attentiveness will enable you to trust in a process that might otherwise be daunting or overwhelming. Sheri makes your hope, desire and expectation to find the right partner to share your life with possible. Loneliness is not an option when it comes to finding love with Sheri in your corner.

After hearing a friend's story of meeting her fiance through LUMA, I was interested in learning more. I talked with Kelly to learn about what LUMA has to offer and had an incredibly pleasant conversation. She was very friendly, kind, and transparent about what services would be offered and how they could assist me in finding love. This service is exactly what I have been looking for to find serious people to date without the headache of online or app dating. If you are even just curious about LUMA's matchmaking experience, I highly suggest filling out the application and connecting with the team. There's nothing to lose and they are incredibly friendly and helpful!

I researched Luma and talked to Samantha to get all my questions answered. She literally lied to me about many things. She said I could go on unlimited dates and the truth is I went on 5 in person dates in 9 months. The matchmakers did not find candidates that matched my criteria and told me to be open minded. I really tried to work with them but it truly was so horrible. As a business owner myself, I would be horrified if my business ran this way. I talked to Christy, the VP of sales and she actually never followed up with me with commitments she made. I really caution you to spend the money here. I never like to leave a bad review but this is a really bad bad deal.

Katie *** is a very helpful matchmaker. I found her to be full of energy, intuitive by listening to my needs, and dedicated toward helping people find their mate. Overall I wish I was provided with more coaching during the contract term. Coaching videos would be helpful and not just getting through the first date only, but through second and third dates. The emphasis that Luma focuses exclusively on is the first date while neglecting potential future dates. The amount of money paid for three matches seems to be quite a bit high, when there are other speed dating or dating website options that cost a fraction of the price per date. It does feel a bit scam like to pay a ton of money and not ever get more than a first date.

My experience has been much better with Luma than any other match making experience I have had in the past with kind agencies with a national presence. (I have used several) I have been working with Katrina for a few months and she actually works at the job and doesn't make excuses. Katrina has done a great job introducing me to quality women. All of the women I have met have been attractive, professional and most importantly look like the pictures in their profile. (It creeps me out when they don't). Every date that Katrina set me up with was absolutely worth my time and I have had fun and something to look forward to. I have found the matchmaking industry to be somewhat predatory by nature. One that makes promises it isn't in a position to keep. That however, has not at all been my experience with Luma. Katrina is a solid human being who cares and works really hard. So far so good.

Please be aware of a matchmaker named ***. She sent me a text message and told me that she'd be my new matchmaker once I signed a contract renewal. I declined to sign it and I'm very glad that I did. *** was rude and I could tell that she lacked the proper communication skills needed to be an effective matchmaker. I replied to her email and asked her about *** and my contract renewal. I never got a reply back from ***. Fast forward a year later and I was wondering why I wasn't responded too. I emailed *** asking her what had happened and she responded rudely. I think she was angry because I chose not to renew my contract. That's my choice. I did a little research to find out who this *** girl really is. Well, she indicates on her Facebook profile that she lives in New York City, but she has another address listed on another site as her residence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Additionally, she likes to play dress up if you look at her photos. It makes her look immature and childish. She also claims that she studied Civil Engineering in college, so how does this qualify her to be a Matchmaker? Maybe she did poor in her academics and couldn't get a career as a Civil Engineer. Nobody knows who this woman really is. Her background is questionable. I think I'm beginning to understand why there's a high turnover rate at LUMA.

After 6 months of Luma's matchmaking service, two different matchmakers, 8 purported "matches," and $10,000, I am still single, I did not go on a single second date with any of the matches that I was provided, and I never received the five hours of coaching that was promised. I was shocked/disppointed that I only received 8 matches in 6 months, two of whom I never bothered meeting because my first matchmaker did not understand my vision for the type of man I was looking for. Three of the 8 matches I received were not even located in my city so I had to meet those matches via Zoom. A Zoom meeting is the least romantic environment for a date and definitely not a catalyst for love. The worst part about Luma's service is the slow speed for providing matches. There were often 3-4 week gaps between new matches. Every time that I expressed frustration with the speed of the matchmaking process and my concern that my contract would expire before the right person was found, I was repeatedly told to "trust the process," that there was "plenty of time" and that I should "remain open." So I trusted the process because I thought Luma knew what it was doing. Now I wish I dropped after two failed matches with my first Luma matchmaker. I have had better luck finding matches that have led to long term relationships through dating apps. I think the main problem with Luma is that they focus heavily on pulling "matches" from their database, even if your person just isn't in there. There were many times during the process where I felt like Luma should have been searching for me elsewhere, but match after match was pulled from the database. In fact, a few of my matches were former Luma clients who also did not find success with the service. Save your money. Do not hire Luma. This company is a scam.

Wow, just wow! I signed up a couple of weeks ago with LUMA and after having a pleasant enough conversation with one of their salespeople, Stephanie, I decided I needed to think about that $12,500 and I asked to be a free member. I understood that came with no guarantee of a match, but they would keep me in their data base. Fine! A couple weeks later I get a call from Brennen,, she called saying she had someone who would be very interested in me. But first she wanted to know more about my dating life. I told her I'm on the apps, but not having much luck. Then she tells me about this great catch she has for me: He's handsome, successful, wants to settle down, makes $1M a year and I am his type! Unfortunately, he's not a full member and she can't match non-members with non-members so she's willing to offer me a discounted price of $10k to meet him. I said he's the millionaire why can't he pay? She said he travels often and isn't frivolous with his money! (huh, wait, but I am?) Then she got really nasty and told me they've got plenty of people in their free data base, the chance of them picking me is slim. It was like she wanted me to pay her an introduction to this "great catch" she has. She then went in on the heavy sales tactics throwing the previous information I told her about my dating life in my face, telling me that's not working, and it's probably going to continue not to work. Wow, wow, wow, wow - I had to jump into a work meeting after her call and she completely ruined my day. I am not sure if this is standard for LUMA to treat people this way with sleazy, nasty, insulting sales techniques, but I feel I must let anyone know that is considering this service know about my experience. It also leads to believe they might not have that many people in their data base anyway if she sent 45 minutes on the phone with me trying to convince me to pay.

I talked about my small friend group on Zoom before paying for LUMA Luxury Matchmaking. They said it's normal for people to have fewer friends when they're single. Later, I emailed them about it and got a response that said, "Don't worry, we'll help you meet great women! Call me if you want to talk!" I wanted them to say that having few friends isn't a problem. The first woman they matched me with was from a religion I said I didn't want to date. If they can't even check for that, I don't trust them to find good matches. I want some of my money back. I started using their service on June 1, 2022.
