Myself and my friend were attending speed dating in Dublin last sunday. As the event was about to start, we were informed it's cancelled. We heard in the crowd this is happening very regularly. There should be similar event happening saryrday prior to that, it was also cancelled. The email I've got was that I can attend any future event of my choice and I could bring a friend. Clearly this is a scam, just to get more people "next time". We were coming all the always from Sligo, which is 2.5 hrs drive. Disappointing..

I bought my ticket last night only to wake up this morning to it being cancelled. They seem to use the same excuse of people requesting for it to be rescheduled. If this was the truth why were you still selling tickets last night. Avoid at all cost!

I went to an event at Flute and really enjoyed it! I was a but nervous as I have never been speed dating but the hostess Stacey was amazing and every single guy was a gentleman. The venue was beautiful and well organized. I had some questions before and Troy always emailed me back right away, amazing customer service. I highly recommend this company and their events. I will definitely be going to another event soon and spreading the word to my single friends.

I went to the speed dating event in Toronto on a Friday evening. The host was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She stayed behind after the event to answer any questions by fellow attendees. The venue was great, it had a fun and energetic vibe! The staff working at the restaurant was great, they were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the section reserved for the event was in a quieter area, which made listening and connecting with other singles very easy!

Do not use. This company and it's services do not exist. My own experience suggests they use loopholes on eventbrite and other planning services to never issue refunds to customers. The pages are fronts for the scam and you will notice despite the suggested engagement with the page there are no comments on any of the posts. This is presumably because comments suggesting the company is fraudulent are deleted, and that is the only comments that would be made on the page.

I've been to a few of these and I have to say, they are wonderful. I have met some amazing people and had a great time! So much better than swiping through apps. Eye contact and meeting people in person is awesome. The host Stacy, is a real sweetie and fun to talk to. She does a great job keeping everything organized and making sure everyone is having a good time. Troy, who I believe is the owner/manager is very accommodating and always takes good care of me. I appreciate them both. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had the same experience mentioned below. Cancelled the event due to others "rescheduling" and no refunds. I told them it wasn't my fault it was cancelled and none of the other dates work for me. They said it'll take 2 weeks for a refund so we'll see. Do not sign up for MyCheekyDate events. It's all a scam. I live in a large city so plenty of single people to go to events even with "rescheduling" I've never heard of this company before and it's been around since 2007. Should have done research before I signed up.

I really enjoyed the event. I like meeting new people, so it was fun. I thought that the event was very well organized. The card was cute, and had an entertaining rating system. It was a great idea that the lady sat in one place, and the gentleman came to them. One of the teachers agreed with me stating, "chivalry isn't dead!" The six minute time period for speed dating was the perfect amount of time to determine if you liked the guy. The ambience of the location was appropriate. There were dimmed lights, which I thought was romantic. The hostess was friendly, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Her name is Stacy. Stacy also gets five stars.

This was my first speed dating event and I had fun. The original event got cancelled due to a lot of cancellations and they offered to put me on the guest list of another event of my choice. I found that very thoughtful. Troy has been very approachable and quick to respond to my emails, which I appreciate. Khan the hostess was sweet and chill and comforted me as I was nervous with the session. The crowd was a diverse set of guys and I had fun talking to them regardless of whether or not I wanted to pick them as a match. I'm more comfortable going on more events like this now and getting to meet new people. I even made a girl friend at the event!

I went to an event after two years since lockdown. The events are still wonderful. I went to Orlando. They changed venues. The venue is the same style. A romantic one, but this one has a parking lot close by which makes it easy. The lady is very attentive. You find the girl and she gives you instructions right away. you wait a little bit and the fun Begins. I really like the quality of people you always get to meet. You will have a great time and they make it super easy. All the communication is through email and the following day after the event you get the email address of your matches (I figure it is for security). But very highly recommended.

My first event was cancelled due to a large number of the other registrants cancelling, but the second one a week later (same venue) went forward and they kindly popped me into that one. I have to say I wouldn't have wanted to attend an event with just a couple people to meet, so while it was a bummer at the time, I'd prefer that than going forward when it would've sucked. The event coordinator on sight was outgoing and fun. The 6 people I met were all nice, well groomed, reasonable guys. I got a few dates out of it, had some nice conversations, and didn't have to make an online dating profile to do it. I'm very happy with my experience and would definitely go again.

I went to one of their speed dating events in New York, and it was an amazing experience! I always thought speed dating was just something they did in the movies. I'm so glad I was able to find this company on the Internet! A quick Google search and they were one of the first events to pop up! I was extremely nervous prior to going to the event, but the hostess was so polite and welcoming that I was put at ease as the night went on. I also expressed to some of my dates that I was nervous and they admitted that they were too and they also comforted me. It was a great experience, one that allowed me to make friends, as well as get matched with a few promising dates. I'd love to go to another event like this in the future!

I enjoyed myself on my speed dating experience. It was my first. I'm pretty outgoing so I find it easy to talk with most people. So this makes much more sense for me than online. I'm glad it was 5 minutes and not shorter. It was a perfect amount of time. Host was great. Jordan was first rate and made all of us first timers feel at ease. And I especially enjoyed the non formal atmosphere. The lighting at this venue in SF was a bit dark, but added to the mystery. The bar music was too loud which made it difficult to hear each other. Of course we understood it was the prerogative of the venue, and the host, Jordan did his best to get them to lower the volume. Other than that, it was pretty awesome. I am definitely interested in attending more of these events and am excited to learn of new venues and activities offered by this company. We'll done.

I attended one of MyCheekyDate's speed dating events in New York City in summer 2022, and I enjoyed it. I'm a straight man. The email communication was responsive and friendly, and the organizers clearly espoused and communicated a value for kindness, which they called being "lovely". I liked that and I thought that it influenced the attendees to be more kind. I liked that they stood for something. The event itself was well done. A good number of people showed up, with a roughly even number of guys and girls, the organizer was friendly and kept the event feeling personal. The venue was nice, and there were opportunities to mix freely with the women to get to know them and build a stronger connection, outside of the speed dating itself. They changed the location of the event on the day before to be about 30 minutes further downtown by subway. This was communicated clearly by email, and they asked for email confirmation of the change, as they did for the initial reservation. They might have consolidated several events into one or made a mistake in the initial advertisement, because other attendees thought the event had moved from only a few blocks away. I liked that many people showed up and I enjoyed the event so I didn't mind.

Excellent experience! I attended a MyCheekyDate speed dating event in New York City on 9/25/22. As this was my first speed dating experience and I was unfamiliar with the company, I was leery from the outset. However, positive online reviews encouraged me to give them a try. I'm glad I did because upon registering for the event I received nothing but exceptional customer service. I was corresponding with Troy who immediately confirmed my registration and offered to answer any of my questions. He also emailed me a friendly reminder the day of the event. Regarding the event itself, it was wonderful. Stacey, our hostess, gave me a warm welcome upon my arrival and I immediately felt at ease. The venue was conducive for conversation; we had a private area where we could easily hear one another and not be distracted by outsiders. All of the participants were lovely; they all seemed like normal, everyday people looking for an honest relationship. By the end of the evening, I had some wonderful six-minute conversations with about ten potential "Date-Mates". Overall, I had a great experience. MyCheekyDate was a highly professional company to work with and I'd recommend anyone considering attending a speed dating event to give them a try.

So I booked a speed dating event with MyCheekyDate in downtown San Diego for about $35 iirc and it was scheduled for Saturday at 8pm at a bar. So I get ready at 6:30pm and leave before 7 to arrive at 7:30. So I arrive at 7:30 and find my way to the bar a 10min walk away. I find nobody on the bottom floor and make my way to the rooftop. I ask about the speed dating event and the staff mention sometimes they stop by but they often cancel last minute or change locations and times (a great sign already). So I check my phone and sure enough 3 hours ago I got an email saying they changed the location and rescheduled for 9pm. So I book it and walk 20min away to the new location (already spent $20 on parking and don't want to keep dealing with downtown traffic). I arrive at the new location and wait in line, ask the person seating people if she knows of any speed dating event, she says no but the manager stopped in and mentioned that they sometimes come here but often cancel, and they asked to book here but she said no because it's a Saturday night and they're completely booked (small trendy place downtown, no room for 30 people to come in last minute). So now I'm out $30 in gas, $20 in parking, and several hours of my time getting ready, driving 30 miles, and walking around everywhere downtown. I try to contact literally any human I can reach but lo and behold the organizer is impossible to contact; who would've guessed? So I call their support number and leave a message (still no one has gotten back to me to this day) and reply to all emails I received (emails were not automated interestingly enough) and looked for any way to contact on social media. I finally find an email address for mycheekydate as a whole (For all I know the company is great and all the 5 star reviews are warranted, but the San Diego one sucks). I ask about the event and ask to talk to a human and sure enough I do get a reply and a quick one at that. He says that it has been rescheduled
