This is not my first time flying with Lufhtansa or Austrian Airlines towards Europe and allways with a 1 stop at Munich or Vienna.
This year 2026 ,I've fligh twice from YYZ to Romania,and the last flight was YYZ-YUL,YUL-MUC MUC-TSR and returnTSR-MUC MUC-YYZ .While using the same Swiss luggages set including the carry-on for the last 10 years,I was never charges for a carry-on size until the flight via MUC VL1657 on 20 October 2026.Because the flight connection was very short between VL1657 and LH494 (and VL1657 had a 40min delay in departure time).This trip I chose to have the carry-on with me instead of checking it in ,service being offered by Lufthansa ,without cost after my online checkin.The surprise-shock was when boarding the flightVL1657 from TSR to MUC,my carry on of total 41"(18.5"x13.5"x9") did not fit into so called standard size carry-on display.My carry-on allways fit in the plains overhead storage,was the same carry on I travel from Canada to TSR on 6the October 2026,numerous times back and forth from Europe to Canada But now I was charged an amount of 110euro for less than 8kg carry-on.I live n Canada,I bought a ticket on Canadian Dollars but charged in Euro for no reason. I request a full reimbursment of this charge which is not logical especially being offered to check in for free this carry-on,using the same carry-on on my flight from YYZ-TSR and with measurements (see attached pics) that are in the std limits.

Claimed loss: 110euro
