My house burned down and the insurance won't cover cost to rebuild. I sent check to loancare per their instructions along with a letter asking to apply towards principal also their instructions. I have a guy who will purchase the property as is for more than remaining balance after check is applied. Now that loancare has my insurance check, they changed the whole process saying I need to pay balance before check can be applied. I don't have $13k laying around. So the check just sits in a "restricted escrow list draft account"??? I just want out from under this loan and they just want more interest. This was all after they "misplaced" my $67k check
