LG Electronics Customer service

We originally called on December 26th as we went to turn our tv on that morning and it did not switch on. There were lines all over the screen. when we first called, we were told to send in some pictures online but the line got cut off, so we called back and waited on hold for quite some time and then when we got through to somebody they told us to contact a technician close by to us. He gave us their number and we called the technician only for the technician to tell us we're wasting our time- LG won't cover it and go and buy a new tv. We then called LG back again and waited 30 minutes to get through, once again to be given 2 other numbers of technicians near us to call- we called one who told us they only fix washing machines and then the other who did not answer, we left a message but they did not return the call. We tried them again on sunday but nothing. We then called back on monday and once again was given a number of another technician to call- we tried once again and they told us they would charge $125 to come and look at the tv and that LG would not cover it. As you can imagine by this time, we are very frustrated. Once again we contact LG, sit on hold for 25 minutes, once we get through we insist to speak to a supervisor and were put through to a lady called Donna who was very helpful. She arranged for a technician to call us and set up a time to come and see the tv when we were free. 30 minutes later I received a call from a lady at that company asking me to send the pictures of the tv before midday, it was 11;20 so i rushed back from the store to do so and then an hour later, her technician called me -was extremely rude, told me i was wasting my time, he was closing the case himself that it wouldn't be covered by LG and to just forget about it. I couldn't believe this service and the way we were being treated at this point. LG had still not even seen the tv. The frustration was beyond me and once again i had to call back LG, wait on hold, ask to speak to a supervisor, luckily was put back through to Donna who kindly apologized on behalf of this very rude man, and tried once again to contact another technician and set them up to come and look at our tv. A couple of hours later, I received a call for said technician asking me to send a picture of the tv and that he would forward it on to LG technical team and let me know if it will be covered. This was on Tuesday 29th January, I sent the pictures straight away and heard nothing back. I since called him back 4 times and left messages and text him but no response. Today Jan 6th I called LG and was told, your tv is not covered as it's physical damage. At this point I am disgraced by this customer service. By such a huge company, the time and effort my partner and i have endured to get a response for our tv is unacceptable, not to mention the rude service from staff, back and forth, wrong numbers. It is utterly unbelievable. We have 3 more LG tv's in our place and we will never purchase again from LG after this experience as its truly been miserable. We will also be sure not to recommend them. Meanwhile they refuse to cover our tv even though it's only 9 months old as they say its physical damage- yet has been in he same position on our wall since we purchased it.

LG Electronics LSXS26326S Refrigerator

I bought a new LG LSXS26326S Refrigerator on 5 November 2020. It stopped cooling on 27 December 2020. The first appointment I could get was 5 January 2021 and he couldn't fix it because the controller board is not compatible with the new compressors and the controller board is back ordered. The compressor failed right after LG settled the class action lawsuit for failing compressors. They have clearly not resolved the problem.

LG Electronics TV and Customer Service

I have already sent my complaint to LG more than 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything from LG concerning it. I am greatly disappointed!

I researched the TV options and was concerned about side viewing. I went to a "chat" and the woman who took the chat told be that th specific LG TV I was looking at had the IPS (?) not the V system. I specifically did not want the V factor as it was not as good for side viewing. She assured me it did not have the V but had the system that I beleiive LG perfected.

Of course I bought the TV . After buying and setting it up, I have learned, to my disappointment, that it uses the V system. As I said above, I am upset about being deceived and lied to.

i tried calling customer service. could not get theough hone maze. wrong . place, disn;t get my info.

when i got a rep. couls not understand English. i tried twice talking to him, couls not understand him.

teied compliant web site could not take my info. it s impossible to get either phone or onlune to take my inf online is very conplicated and coded.

LG Electronics Wash Machine repair not getting fixed

I purchased a brand new LG wash machine from Lowe's with the extended service warranty. My wife and I just purchased our new home and within 35 days of purchasing the washer for the home, it floods my house and garage that still contained a majority of unpacked items. I reached out to Lowe's first just to find out that I was 5 days passed the store warranty. Now I had to reach out to LG for the extended service warranty. They set me up with A&E services to come out and inspect the washer but couldn't get anyone out for a few weeks. Then they cancel three separate times since. I called LG back asking for a supervisor and was promised to have a technician out yesterday. Then I get a message saying the new appointment is on the 28th of December followed by another message immediately moving it back again to the 29th. It has cost me over $1000 to get the worst experience of my life with this company and now it ruined my personal property and continues to cost me weekly just because now I am forced to go to the laundry matt.

LG Electronics Window Air Conditioner

Bought an air conditioner as it was labelled as being able to cool to 60 deg F. Installed the air conditioner and it would not cool below 66 F. Called service and they sent someone that could do nothing to the air conditioner but say it was running. Placed a mercury thermometer against the intake and determined that the air conditioner was shutting off at 66F. Called service again but stipulated they needed to send someone that understood the problem and would be able to fix the issue. A few days later they called me and told me "there is no person in the area that can fix the air conditioner so I needed to pack it up and send it back", they would send an authorization number for the return. 3 weeks later no RA number, called and texted, no number. Finally got to someone and they said that the complaint had been coded incorrectly and that the return was cancelled. They would recode and the RA number would be provided. Waited two weeks no number, started calling and texting again. Finally talked to a rep that said I need to call the RA dept to resolve. So I started texting, emailing and calling the RA department. Today the RA department has sent a text stating that the case was cancelled and to call customer service if there were any questions. Called customer service and talked to the air conditioner person who could see all the communication but could do nothing to help as they explained that the only person was the RA department and they cancelled the return because they never received a DRN number, which eventually was explained by the customer service rep to be a Defective Return Number. When queried as to how that was number was obtained, the customer service rep said it was provided by RA department and transferred me back to that department (remember this is the same department that texted me the case was cancelled). Waiting on hold now. Last time I was transferred to this department, the call was dropped.

LG Electronics Refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher

I purchased all my appliances 10/20/16 my compressor stopped working in september of 2018 took about 3 weeks to get it fixed and it still isn't very cold and after they fixed it my ice maker never worked again now the dishwasher is rusted inside and my microwave door handle broke off about 2 yrs after I had it, I had my original refrigerator for 15 yrs and didn't have one issue

LG Electronics Display board is not working

We are under warrenty period. purchase on 15/12/2019. Display board is not working and it gives abnormal sound. Technician from service center found that there is a water lekage in side the board. It is manufacturing fault. But service center considerthis as our usage fault. We donot have any more trust about this item. So we request to replace this refrigerator.

LG Electronics Dishwasher

5 servicemen came out at first I was just smelling burnt wires, the first said it needed a part, part came thru mail, he never came back or called, next one two guys came out, in kitchen talking among themselves, open it up closed it, outside talking for a long while, they went back to station and reported problem solved, they did nothing, next guy came out took all insides out, motor, etc., kept it for weeks, brought it back said it was fixed, I didn't use it right away, there's only me and husband, I usually wash them by hand, brother said I should use it, had three days worth of dishes in it, because I forgot to run it, 3rd night turn it on, sent in kitchen smells burning wires again, called again, said they were coming monday, I call they said between 8 - 12, 12:15 I called, said they weren't coming until the 18th, I was calling to see what time, on my way out went thru kitchen, dishwasher was running, they started it from the office, this time it was smoking and smelling like burning wires, I unplugged it, got all the water out and waited for the 18th to come. Technician came took door off, and it was burned inside and plastic was melted, said he would report the fire, he went back and stated dishwasher was working, been calling everyday except thanksgiving day for repair, sending me from one person to the next, was on the phone all day today, getting hung up on, telling me im at the wrong office, transferring me to someone else, went thru 5 people today, after being hung up on, put on hold until they hang us, last women said she would put in an order today and said she was sorry for everything I have been thru, this dishwasher could have burned my kitchen up if I had not caught it in time, I need some answer and someone to look into this problem, phone number [protected].

LG Electronics lg dishwasher

My LG dishwasher started on fire today 11/18/2020. We were all so scared. We were eating dinner when we smelled something rubbery burning, I thought maybe I left something on. I ran to the kitchen, too my surprise the whole kitchen was full of smoke, it was coming from the front panel.I immediately unplugged it. I didn't realize how common this was. im highly upset.

LG Electronics LG dishwasher

My LG dishwasher has been giving off a plastic smell lately I really did not think much of it. Then this morning I noticed that the breaker was popped for my dishwasher. I did a load of dishes this morning and noticed smoke coming out from above the dishwasher below the countertop. The smoke stopped and then later on there was a pop underneath the front of the dishwasher under the right side. The breaker popped again as a result. Luckily I was there watching the dishwasher as it ran.

LG Electronics Refrigerator

We purchased an LG refrigerator from Best Buy a few years ago

We now have BLACK MILDEW on the door seals. This should not be happening
I have never had any mildew on any refrigerator door seal
I want someone from LG to come and look at this serious problem. A>S>P>
I am concerned about a health issue with mildew. Do I have to call the N.Y.C. Board of Health to check out the MILDEW

You've had something in the fridge that started the growth. You're smart in catching it (hopefully) early enough to remedy the problem.

Remove everything from the fridge, unplug it and wipe it down with a bleach and water solution. Once you've done so, plug the fridge back in and wait for the fridge to return to proper operating temperatures. I'd consider throwing most, if not all, of the previous contents away. Start fresh and refill the fridge. It should work fine.

If the mold returns, contact Best Buy if you have any form of an extended warranty. If not, contact anyone in the area that is authorized to service LG products.

LG Electronics Customer repair service

My refrigerator has been out for a month. It takes them a week to get anyone to show up and another week for them to follow-up.

The 3rd appointment 3 weeks later, the tech never showed up.

I contacted customer service and spoke with a manager who stated she couldn't do anything to escalate the matter and was constrained to only put a new request in the computer.

She further stipulated that she couldn't even call anyone.

If they deliver a new refrigerator, I may change my mind. Otherwise, if you decide to buy, be prepared for the worst customer service ever!

LG Electronics Repair service

We are very frustrated we sent in a phone case for an lg dual v60 thinq for repair about 2 months ago. When we received the phone case is was for an older model and was not even compatible with our phone. We were told that in order for us to get our phone case we would need to send back the one that was sent in error. We sent back the phone case that was sent in error on 9/30/20 and has been stuck in texas (not our fault) and yet we still have not received our phone case that we paid 84.00 to be repaired. We are very frustrated with your customer service as no one is able to resolve our issue of getting back our dual screen phone case that we paid to have it repaired, again we have been dealing with this for over 2 months now and we are very pissed off and frustrated with your customer service. We have spoken to numerous employees including several supervisors and we still don't have our phone. We need this issue escalated immediately and we need to get back what is ours! please have someone reach out us that can help us resolve this issue immediately. LG Electronics Refrigerator

We have a 4-year old French Door refrigerator. Our 3-year old warranty has expired, but the compressor is under a 10-year warranty. The refrigerator stopped cooling on September 29th. It took forever for them to find a service company who would come out in our area. Finally had a service tech scheduled for today and LG messed up the ticket not indicating that it could be worked as a warranty if the issue was the compressor. The tech never showed up. We can't get back on the schedule for another two weeks. This is just to get a tech out to even see if it is the compressor that is the problem and then he will have to order parts. Who knows how long the parts will take to get here and then to get a tech back out to install them. We also have Choice Home Warranty, but they cannot pay on an LG product because of the warranty issue. Ridiculous.

LG Electronics Refrigerator

In mid july 2020, my lg refrigerator stopped working. I lost all my food it was a night mare and a mess. They could not get a tech out for 10 days I argued and said this was unacceptable. Finally, on the 28th after waiting the 10 days the tech arrived. Fixed the fridge and so far its working as of 10/10/20.

I had to purchase a small refrigerator to hold us over - i'm a single mom with kids so you can imagine how difficult this was. I was reimbursed for the food $300 by lg. I was also told that I would be for the mini fridge. After many calls was told the check was on it's way only to be lied to over and over and over. Then I get one super jerk from the executive team who says "no your not getting that check" and hung up on me. I was persistent and finally reached a person who apologized - said this is one huge paper trail of them saying you;ll be reimbursed for the mini fridge - she got the check approved and it was supposed to be sent. Well it's over a month later - no check, they lie lie lie and are the worst customer service oh and their bogus "executive team" you wait forever for. This company is awful! Makes awful appliances! Stick to phones! I want my check for $89! Mind you, there's also a big class action lawsuit on the model refrigerator I have because they make total crap!

LG Electronics Fridge

I bought an upright fridge at game store then along the line I realized that the water dispenser was leaking all the time. At first then I went to the store to file a complaint. The salesman assured me that he called the lg repair service but to my surprise no one pitched to repair the unit. Then I kept on going back to the store to notify them of my change of address. Then one day I was called by this rude person who called me that he was a technician from lg, screaming and shouting at me saying that he was getting lost in this era of gps then he hung up on me. I kept on visiting the store for assistance where I got same promises till the warrant lapsed. And finally this week the fridge was rebooked and now lg expects me to pay and now the fridge has started developing another error on the display and now I feel as if they were buying time so that the unit warranty expires so that they will charge me. I believe now am now one of those dissatisfied customers that I have noticed giving bad reviews online about how lg fridges lacks durability.

LG Electronics Warranty repair on an lg refrigerator

Our LG French door refrigerator stopped cooling over 7 weeks ago and, ongoing. I filed an extended warranty repair with LG over the phone on the 11th of September. I was not aware during the period the fridge went down that there is an existing extended warranty offered by LG due to faulty compressor. Online research led me to the extended warranty and, repair request. I've been in contact with LG Support since the above date with follow up call/chat weekly (last week I asked to have my request escalated) to no avail. Out of desperation, I send two email to LG President regarding my predicament and still awaiting response. I fully understand the current situation regarding COVID but, considering our predicament, I refuse to believe that a big corporation such as LG is powerless or unable to exert influence or pressure to third party service provided to help our cause! I am getting tired of lip service every time I call or, chat with their rep.

We are having the exact same issue with our LG refrigerator. I will never buy another LG product again and I will encourage others not to purchase products with them as well. I wonder if they would tell their CEO and board members these same responses if their products failed. Probably not, they would send someone out immediately. LG YOU SUCK!

I'm sorry you're so frustrated. I can't say I blame you, but I will state that LG produces some great appliances and their fridges are just some of them.

Unfortunately, you are correct; the Covid virus has such down many production plants worldwide and hasn't others at very limited capacity. Even if you wanted to purchase a new fridge, of any brand, you'd find it difficult right now.

And as much as your patronage is appreciated, support for your product is not escilated over other because of complaints.

The TV turns on itself in the middle of the night and also sometimes during daylight. Very random occurrence, but a daily one.
I have called the cable company and they said it is not a cable problem but rather TV problem
