we were shown a new build house by Lennar, we put a 10k deposit/escrow on it. jumped through all the hoops to get a mtg approval through Lennar and finally got that but it was contigent on us selling our current home. The person at the lennar office at the building site had recommended a specific realtor for our current home. This realtor at first seemed to be working for us but then she started talking to both our lender and the person at the build site about my husband and myself. She told lies about us saying falsehoods about us. finally we had one buyer who wanted our home and had a buyer for her own. That fell through for her and that caused us to be left without a buyer. we agreed to give her right of first refusal in case we found another at Now this is where it get interesting. the realtor took away the for sale sign completely when we had only asked for a sold sign at least until the sale fell through. Then that realtor listed our home on the MLS that ithe house was under contract. for an entire month we had no one come to see the house or even inquire about it. I told the person at the lennar building site that the realtor was the worst and the lennar person ripped into me for saying anything about that realtor. That person claimed that the realtor kept in contact with her all the time and was doing all she could to get our house sold. None of this lined up in my book. I was told if I pulled out I would lose the money I put down on this property. I said I was done. I dont' want to work with people who lie period.

Desired outcome: I would like my deposit back at the very least. which was 10880.oo
