I found a house on *** on August 25
I found a house on *** on August 25. Leasing to Buy was listed on the sign as a contact company. I contacted them and was able to see the house. I applied to live there and was approved the same or next day. Leasing to Buy works with Mars Real Estate Properties LLC for this property. On August 28, I met with *** at the house and gave them $4000 for earnest money. On September 1, a home inspection was done by Advantage Home Services. The report was 39 pages long and had issues with the house. Leasing to Buy sent the report to Mars Real Estate Properties. They said they would fix the HVAC and plumbing issues before I moved in and some other issues after I moved in. On September 14, I met with Leasing to Buy and gave them $12,000 for the closing and down payment. Since moving in on September 14, I have had issues with no A/C for 2.5 weeks, no heat, mice, plumbing, and security. I called Leasing to Buy on many dates to try to get the issues fixed. I spoke with *** on 9/23, 9/25, 9/30, 10/5, 10/10, 10/12, 10/15, 10/19, 10/20, 10/23, 10/26, 10/30, 11/5, and 11/11. Most times I had to leave a message or he would text me back saying he was in a meeting or somewhere he couldn't take calls. I told him my family was in danger. He only returned my calls when I was giving him money. After he got the money, he disappeared. I asked for my money back and for safety installations and moving expenses. I am disappointed that Leasing to Buy works with a company that is dishonest.
