I discovered a property on a hidden street on August 25. The sign indicated 'Leasing to Buy' as the contact. After reaching out, I viewed the house and quickly got approval to reside there. Leasing to Buy collaborates with Mars Real Estate Properties LLC for this property. On August 28, I met with a representative at the property and paid $4000 as earnest money. A home inspection by Advantage Home Services on September 1, revealed several issues in a 39-page report. Leasing to Buy forwarded the findings to Mars Real Estate Properties, who agreed to address HVAC and plumbing before my move-in and other issues subsequently. On September 14, I paid Leasing to Buy $12,000 for closing and down payment. Post-move-in, I faced no A/C for weeks, no heating, mice, plumbing, and security problems. Repeated calls to Leasing to Buy, often leaving messages or receiving texts about unavailability, yielded little help. The representative was responsive only when payments were involved but became elusive after receiving funds. I requested a refund, safety measures, and moving costs due to the unsatisfactory experience and the company's dishonesty.
