I doubt she will have any clients left
i am so happy i came across these reviews. everything is starting to make sense now. i just received my billing statement from raquel silvas office
it was 3x times what i had agreed to pay. i shall be making a further inquiry to the BBB. i also read somewhere that her yelp reviews are fake as well. something with this women is just not right. shady practices with billing. i wish i had found this all out BEFORE i had sought out her representation. if she doesnt change her ways i doubt she will have any clients left from what i can gather.

Very untrustworthy
I sought the services of raquel silva to assist me in a legal matter regarding custody proceedings for my 2 daughters.
Raquel was very untrustworthy I had paid her retainer and some of the fees in advanced as i was promised a discount
BIG Mistake she has to date stolen more than $8000 DOLLARS from me!
never has spent 1 hour or 1 minute on my case besides the inishal consultation as soon as i issued a check that was cashed.. never heard back from her
she avoids my phone calls.. refuses to return my funds
she ignores my phone calls, refuses to provide the services
her office is a house of some sort converted into a makeshift office.
VERY unprofessional she seemed friendly and kind at first, as a ploy to try to extract money from me.
ive since had to higher another lawyer to sue her back for the funds she stole from me as well as Yet another lawyer to represent me in my custody hearings.
raquel silva needs to return to me the money she has stolen

Terrible legal advise, scammer!
i was grossly over charged and neglected as a client.
she is very late to return phone calls.. after you become her client.
in the beginning she was very quick and seemed competent, then, as time went on, her true colors came to light.
need less to say because of the law offices of raquel silva
im in a very difficult and binding legal situation. as a Direct result of her terrible legal advise.
she is not able to handle anything past the most simple of cases.
when things get tough, she runs away with your hard earning money.
there is a clear lack of professionalism, basic law knowledge, and ofcourse the sheer fact that i was grossly over billed. look else where in davis or sacramento for real representation from a lawyer who knows what they are doing.

The consistency and facts are quite pronounced here and are coming from all different angles. I also just found out Raquel M. Silva aka Raquel Riffel has had two bankruptcies over several decades as well. It looks like a re-occurring pattern. Raquel M. Silva is probably buried up to her head with debt and needs to grossly overcharge what-ever people that manage to step in Raquel M. Silva's trap. This is why she is an alcoholic. How can anyone live with themselves. I feel sorry for the slob, Andy Riffel, that is married to her.
This person, if you could call Raquel M. Silva a human at all, is a real POS. If you want a terminal disease in your life and truly enjoy eating her diarrhea, see this person. I later found out, that she runs under multiple names and different counties, just like any common criminal. She currently has her house under the name Raquel Riffel at [removed] for people that are looking to sue her.
add my name to the growing list of grievances against silva. i posted a a review about my experiences . im not paying you 3x what we agreed raquel and thats final. do you understand me? everyone has had enough of your antics and dodgy behavior . someone needs to stand up to you once and for all . as i stated in my review im going to contact the better business about you i advise anyone else with a grievance to do the same. combine forces against raquel silva law.
Raquel M.Silva / Raquel Riffel is nothing but the lowest form of human being. The list is quite long.

ill never be able to recover my stolen funds. i would advise the person who posted this complaint to file a legal case against her.
maybe if we all rally together we can get back what we lost or at least find a way to hold raquel silva responsible for what she has stolen

This complaint is not from a client of my firm. It is false and a form of internet extortion. Within hours of this being posted, I was contacted by firms in India and elsewhere who offered to remove it for a fee.
