Very good experience with details
I will be Keeping this as short as possible, I will start with the positives and then some of the negatives.
We purchased a 15 week old black pug puppy from a breeder on the Lancaster site. Lancaster and Greenfield seem to be Amish breeders. Our experience was Mostly positive Especially on the important points.
We love the puppy and she is absolutely beautiful, but After having a full work up with my vet, who is very good, she did have ear mites, and some parasite which we were given a couple of prescriptions for. It’s fair to note that Vet said this is common, regardless of where you get the puppies. He said no matter how much you spend there will always be a risk with a new puppy.
We are very happy with the purchase at 15 weeks. She was 90% house trained very alert in one day and even plays fetch with no signs of anxiety at all from the transition.
I would recommend this breeder that I got my dog from even though there were a couple issues which were small ones and the vet said her nostrils were 100%, which is excellent for a breed like this and her heart and everything else checked out very well.
Before this I had a French bulldog I paid $5000 for and he had ear mites when I got Him too at 14 weeks.
My advice to you is have two or three breeders lined up when looking which I did and they were within 15 miles of each other and then you keep looking, which is what we were prepared to do But as far as we’re concerned, the first breeder worked out very well and we would highly recommend her because her place was very clean. She had an outside Yard where you could view all the adults and we were given fairly thorough vaccine and health records.
AKC and ACA rated is always better but in our case, the parents were ACA and the puppies were rated But Again got a very good rating for my vet.
Regardless of where you get a puppy from get an immediate to make sure you made a good purchase and at that point, it was bad they could always be returned.
Overjoyed Costumers
My husband and I purchased a puppy a few days ago from the nicest, caring and very professional Breanna J in Ohio. Breanna customer service was awesome, she made the process very easy, anserwd all of our question without hesitation. We communicated for over a week allow us to make a Informed decision. The puppy is healthy happy and full of Energy, she was vet checked had her first round of shots as well as micro chipped, her puppies are well cared for. We received all the paperwork as well as a health guarantee for year. I was able to FaceTime with her and the puppy to give a real time interaction as well as the puppy Temperament. Breanna meet us in a central location as we live about three hours away to pick up our puppy. I can not say enough about the wonderful experience we had buying our new fur baby. We also received a Receipt as a proof of purchase I did not upload it as it contains personal information.
Thank You Breanna Johnson
Adopted a Toy Poodle mix
Visited a nice family in the Wellsboro Pa. On a Sunday, wasnt Amish. Bought the cutest lil Toy Poodle mix. Rose is the ladys name, she does two different breeds. $2000 so cute. Their home was lovely & clean, had a few grandkids there, about 8-9 dogs and bred more than a few litters per year but not too many. Very nice set up, in the home, very clean. Filled out an application. They gave us 1 yr guarantee, health records and first vaxx were done. We named him Pip. He is now 1 year old and best little dog. Ended up 7 lbs. Good Toy size. Going back for another. Seen all these reviews. But we had zero issues at all with our breeder choice. We drove 4 hours one way too. Choose wisely i guess. If you visit a place and chose to buy a puppy. Then stuff goes wrong after purchase seems kinda hypocrite to claim later folks are a puppy mill. But YOU went to the person's home and YOU decided it was good enough to buy at that time. Does that make you a puppy mill shopper? So. There ya go. If they weren't a puppy mill the day you went and decided to buy then they arent the day you decide they are because your pup has an issue.
Very impressed
I did a lot of research on the particular breed I wanted for many months. I thought it would be safer to buy from a reputable breeder but I had reservations about that as well. Up my 10 to 20 visit to the Lancaster puppies website I saw many adorable puppies for sale and offered a lot cheaper than the breeders I made inquiries to. Still not having made a decision as I browsed my preferred breed in Lancaster puppies again I saw what would eventually become my dog. I did my research on Lancaster puppies again and even found some reviews from previous customers on YouTube. I decided to go through with a purchase for my olde English bulldogge puppy and was able to make a secured payment directly to the breeder via consumer safety directly to breeder on the Lancaster puppy website I arranged for shipping and had my puppy with 48 hours, he has been given a 100% clean bill of health and is absolutely amazing. Do your research on the breeder you chose and always if doing a long distance transaction use a breeder that accepts pay pal of the consumer safety group they protect both seller and consumer. But yes Lancaster puppies is legit
Perfect experience. Twice
We located several dog breeders on Lancaster puppies, which is a classified website for dog breeders. They are not dog breeders themselves. It's a classified site same as your local newspaper has a classified section. Since it's my responsibility to communicate with dog breeders, search for my puppy, do my due diligence and research, that's exactly what I did. We made appointments to view a few different puppies and we did finally settle on a goldendoodle from a very nice Farm in Pennsylvania. They had approximately 14... 15 dogs total, they did goldendoodles and labradoodles. It was a nice organized inspected kennel. We picked out our puppy and he has turned out great... perfectly healthy and now we're on our way to pick up our second puppy a year later, from a different breeder. Since the first one didn't have any available till summer. No issues no problems and you just have to do the leg work yourself. It should be apparent to anybody that you have to look over your dog and your paperwork before you purchase. That's common sense. We are happy. I would adopt a third dog from this classified site but I don't need three dogs. Two is plenty. Lol. Happy puppy hunting. Stay positive.
Great Puppy, CS!
At first when I arrived I was very skeptical and worrisome bc I suffer really bad anxiety and the Yoders just appeared out of nowhere. The Yoders were very welcoming, offered me to go into their house to pick up 'Kotton', and I declined but everything looked super clean and well kept when I arrived. Both apodera were super friendly and informative. She asked for the money, and I kindly asked if we can exchange at the same time I received the pup, and she was very understanding and said "yes, of course, I get you do not know me very well". It was a rain full event that ended with sunshine at the end. None the less, I drove from R. I. to PA, the Yoders were very informative and waiting for my safe arrival to pick up our beautiful Cocker Spaniel. Very well taken care of and full of love I received my playful, warm hearting, and HEALTHY PUP! I highly recommend their services. The following day I got my Mothers Day gift pup checked for everything up to his fecal and thank GOD all of his labs were negative! The pup came with a bash of food, AC?. Paperwork to transfer ownership, Guarantee Health Certificate and updated Immunization records. He didn't even have parasites so we are forever thankful for, Lancaster Puppies! Thank you again, Lancaster Puppies!
Great experience with Lancaster Puppies
I was looking for a French Bulldog and wanted to be able to pick a puppy up via a drive. I found Eli Petersheim and inquired about one of his puppies before I was 100% ready to commit. He followed back up with me specifically saying he liked that I described myself as someone who lives alone and works from home so I'd have all of the time to adore the dog but that he had other interested parties. I committed and sent a $500 deposit. Eli sent picture updates before my pick up date and was very forthcoming about the process. Her vet appointment a couple days before I was going to get her revealed a bilateral inguinal hernia. He was extremely honest and offered me a discount as she would need surgery. He gave me the vet information so I could ask all of the medical questions. Once I felt convinced that this was a resolvable issue (I already loved this baby) I drove down to get her. Eli and his children came out and I could see my girl's siblings playing together in a cozy little pen. His children said they wanted me to send pictures because they loved this puppy so much. It was clear she was cuddled and loved and socialized. Today, she's almost 2, got through her hernia surgery beautifully, and remains the most lovable, social dog I could have dreamed. So glad I went with this breeder. I followed through and sent picture updates of her as she grew and he remained responsive and happy to know she was thriving. My little girl is the best pup.
Don't advertise w them
Hi I posted two litters of pups on there. I had to pay twice to sell, $25 per puppy and my ads were all the way at the bottom every time I checked for a month straight. I checked the ads above mine and they were not higher paid ads, they didn't have everything my ads had and they still fell before my pups. Even when I placed my ads they were at the bottom within that day. I'm not amish. I'm not mennonite. I'm just a regular in-home hobby breeder. I don't have a lot of dogs. Everything is in my home. I noticed a couple things Amish and Mennonite people are never available on sundays. They actually don't know a lot about the breeds they're selling which is sad. Also they have the lowest prices on there which should probably tell you everything you need to know. They have 17,000 puppies on there. They make a lot of money on us breeders. Millions every year. Out of 8 pups. I only sold two. Sold the other 6 locally.

Terrible
Please make sure you buy your puppy from a Reasponsable breeder. Who knows how they are really treating these pups before selling them!. I bought a maltipoo from a guy in Ohio named delbert! He took a while to reply most times or didn't even answer specific questions, it was difficult to even try to get pictures and videos of the pup. Long story short when I received my puppy a day later we found a $#*! ton of fleas and when we took her to the vet, they also found two ear infections IN BOTH EARS. Not to add on that she also came with a bump injury on top of her head that is now skinning. He told me that before my puppy was going to be delivered, that she'd receive a vet check, but how could a vet doctor just allow a puppy to come to its owner in these ways? Either HE LIED or the vet doctor is just plain STUPID! First infested with fleas and two with ear infections. How could the transportation people have not NOTICED this upon her? My puppy is only 2 months and she came looking like hell, I cried and have been crying for days because I felt so bad for her and now we are dealing with a flea problem at home that we have never in years dealt with. We have two golden retrievers that never EVER experienced a flea infestation! He proceeded to say she received the fleas in MY HOME? 1. She already had dozens of adult fleas and bites around her body, how could this have happen only being one day in my home? I'm pretty sure we would've knew if the house was infested which was NOT, we would've seen it on our retrievers which they did not even have! How could he have let this happen? It comes to show how awful he was treating these poor puppies. Now we have a bill to pay for the vet and for pest control! TERRIBLE! I repeat if you see a man named DELBERT from Ohio, DO NOT BUY PUPPIES OFF HIM and if you do PLEASEE I repeat PLEASE force this man to send all kinds of pictures and videos of the puppy and where it sleeps, how it's being treated ETC! Unbelievable.
Visited 5 Amish Puppy Mills
We live in Scranton Pennsylvania. My wife and I sort of went on an adventure this late summer to shop for a new little poodle mix. Recently loosing our Snoodle and Cockapoo. We were focusing on Cavapoo Maltipoo or another Snoodle. We live only a couple hours away from the Lancaster area. We visited 6 Amish kennels which I would refer to as dirty unclean puppy mills. What I learned from this website is *normal good dog breedershave pics of their pups inside their homes and the pups look clean in their pics, these are not Amish breeders. I learned very quickly tho, pics of the pups taken outside instead of inside are all Amish kennels. They don't have animals in their homes, its against what they believe and therefore they have no pics of pups in the home. This explains all the outdoor pics verses indoor pics. When ads say phone calls on Sundays will be returned on Mondays that's definitely Amish beware. The pics of the Amish pups are filthy compared to the other in-home breeders on their site. These are some of the pups that we visited and no I did not adopt any of their pups. Anyone can see how filthy these pups are. Their hair was badly stained, legs, feet & faces are stained, why so dirty? Well... As I seen with my own eyes they live in filth. Dog boxes, cages, runs, kennels & units are filled with pee & poop. The dogs live in it, sit sleep play nurse & eat in it and that's why they are so filthy stained in their pics. It's amazing that they even post these pics & people actually go out and buy these pups. Sure I could use the excuse that I had to save them but these places do not deserve my money or yours. I finally found a breeder on their site that was only 4 hours away. Their pups pictures were clean, the pups looked groomed in their pics & videos, in fact they had pictures from the week before and the weeks prior and they were clean in each weeks pictures. So we visited the following week and lo and behold when I went to their establishment the puppies environment was clean! If their environment is kept clean on the daily then no hair gets stained. A dog's hair can only be this stained from a filthy environment. Keep that in mind when you shop on this site. Look for clean puppy pics, indoor pictures being taken and check to see if they're available on Sundays. After picking out our puppy which wasn't ready to go for another week, the dog breeder actually drove half way and met us the following weekend. I did share my experience with the dog breeder that we finally decided to go with and their family had nothing nice to say about the site either. Be sure to choose wisely.
Buyer Beware: My Experience Purchasing a Pup from Lancaster Puppies Website
I want to share my recent experience purchasing a pup from Lancaster Puppies website. So we got this "mini bernedoodle" from a breeder in Lancaster, PA. I say "mini bernedoodle" because it turned out to be a mystery on what breed our pup actually is. But don't get me wrong, we love him nonetheless and he's a part of the family now.
The online profile stated that his parents were small, being 15 and 18 pounds. But as he grew older, we realized that something was off because our pup is now 30 pounds at 5 months old! I mean, talk about a growth spurt! Clearly, what was on his profile was not the truth.
But wait, there's more! When we took our fur baby to the vet right after purchasing him, we learned that he had ear mites, multiple parasites, and scratches all over his ears. It was a complete shock because we thought we did our research, and we thought we bought from a trustworthy breeder. We got the puppy from a guy named Jesse who seemed friendly and professional.
To all potential puppy buyers out there, my advice to you is to hold on tight before making any impromptu decisions. Do your research, and don't be too excited to the point that you can't think straight. Luckily, we got away with minimal problems, but we could have faced a grieving story if something worse had happened to our fur baby. Don't let yourselves and your new furry friends suffer, do your due diligence!

Lancaster Puppies Review: Beware of Scam and Fraudulent AKC Puppies
Okay guys, let me tell you about my experience with Lancaster Puppies (lancasterpuppies.com). I had high hopes about getting my dream pup from this website but boy was I wrong! First of all, there's this lady from FT MEYERS who was selling fake AKC puppies with health problems and guess what? I fell into her web of lies! The worst part is, she's changed her phone number and uses a fake cash app name to get paid. She's a scam I tell you!
So, I received my "puppy" with liver issues and to top it off, I didn't receive the AKC paperwork! When I confronted her about it, she offered a "credit" on her next litter. I mean, seriously? How foolish do I look? I told her that it was genetic and she had the nerve to ask for vet documents - like I didn't provide all of them during the purchase process. She's a liar and a puppy mill - now she's selling several breeds of puppies which is just plain weird.
I urge you guys, do NOT buy anything from this website especially from Sam ***451! Do your research and read online reviews - it will save you from the nightmare that I went through. This is basically an online puppy mill, they'll take your money and leave you hanging. Don't expect any help from them, they'll only back the sellers. Sham, scam, scam - that's all I can say.
Unprofessional and Disappointing: My Experience with Lancaster Puppies
So, listen up folks. I had an experience with Lancaster Puppies and let me tell you, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. Here's the scoop: I was interested in getting a particular pup and I let the breeder know that I was willing to travel damn near 7 hours to pick the little guy up. We had been talking for four days straight, every single day, leading up to the pickup. We were all set to go, or so I thought.
Then, 10 minutes before I was set to arrive, I get a distressing call from the breeder. He tells me that the pup I was scheduled to pick up was actually at someone else's house (how did that happen, by the way?!) and that the pup I really wanted had already been sold. And get this: the breeder had the nerve to try and sell us a different pup for $40 more than the one we really wanted. What the heck, man?!
But that's not all. The breeder's "partner" kept trying to push us to get a male pup at a cheaper rate because of some issue with its dangly bits or something. Gross and unprofessional. And to top it all off, instead of having all the pups together so they could socialize with each other, each one was separated in a different stall. So, who knows how much interaction they had with other dogs and people, despite what the breeder's ad said about socialization.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the supposed one-year health guarantee I was promised. I never saw that come through, either.
Overall, the whole experience was a real disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a furry friend.
Not Impressed: My Review of Lancaster Puppies' Treatment of Breeders and Outdated Website
So, let me tell you about my experience with Lancaster Puppies. Honestly, I have to say that I wasn't very impressed. To put it simply, they don't seem to treat all breeders equally, if you catch my drift. It seems like they definitely have a soft spot for Amish breeders, while the other ones are left out in the cold. And to top it off, they charge $17 per puppy, which is a bit steep, if you ask me. Plus, sometimes you have to make multiple payments, which just seems like a bit much.
And let's talk about the website itself for a second. It's not exactly cutting-edge, if you know what I mean. It's a bit slow and outdated, and if you accidentally break any of their posting rules, they'll just delete your ad and keep your money. Talk about harsh! They don't seem particularly interested in treating their customers well, either - people searching for puppies can be pretty aggressive, and it's not the most pleasant experience when you're dealing with them.
But hey, at the end of the day, we breeders are the ones who are really getting the short end of the stick here. They make a ton of money off us - I mean, at least $250,000 a year, I'd guess - and they don't seem to care much about how they treat us. And let me tell you, the Amish guys who run the place are not exactly winning any awards for customer service. It seems like if you're not Amish yourself, they're even more blunt and unfriendly.
All that being said, I know that a lot of people still want to buy puppies from sites like Lancaster Puppies, even if they don't treat us breeders very well. I keep track of who's been rude to me, and I'll pass that information along to other breeders. Maybe if we all stick together and make it known that we expect to be treated with respect, sites like Lancaster Puppies will start to turn things around. But for now, it's not exactly the best experience.
Unreliable and Dishonest: My Experience with Lancaster Puppies
So, I recently decided to sell some puppies online and heard about Lancaster Puppies, so I thought, hey, why not give them a try? I listed my pups on their website and paid for the posting on 2:09pm 12-3-21. However, to my surprise, the posting was not published until about three days later, on approximately 3:42pm 12-6-21. Yeah, you heard that right, THREE whole days!
I was pretty upset about it, so I decided to reach out to the folks at Lancaster Puppies. I sent them several forms messages explaining the situation, but didn't receive any response until after my second submission in which I threatened to cancel the listing transaction. And can I just say, the female rep that called me was so dishonest! She lied to me several times stating that she had emailed me, which was a blatant lie!
What gets me the most is that she told me my listing was already listed when I paid for it, but it wasn't! I mean, come on, at least own up to your mistakes, you know what I mean? It was only ten minutes before she called that my listing was finally posted and to top it off, she called me at the exact moment my listing got published, so it ended up being the first puppy on the page. I mean, if it had been listed for several days, it wouldn't have been the first one. I smell a fishy situation here folks!
And to add insult to injury, when I asked her to credit my listing for the days it wasn't listed, she refused! On top of that, when I requested to speak to a manager to fix things up, she had the audacity to tell me that no one in the company is higher than her! Like seriously? Talk about being shady and not taking responsibility for your mistakes!
I gotta be real, Lancaster Puppies might have some cute puppies for sale, but their personnel are just not competent. This lady didn't even do her job properly and was trying to cover her own back. She even threatened to block my account if I canceled the transaction! Like, who does that?
In conclusion, if you're looking for an online platform to sell your puppies, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Lancaster Puppies is not trustworthy and their staff is not reliable. Save yourself the headache and stress, and find a more reputable website to sell your pups.
My Nightmare with Lancaster Puppies: False Advertising and Health Risks
So, let me tell you about my experience with Lancaster Puppies. I found them on their website, lancasterpuppies.com, and was really excited to adopt a new furry friend. I had some pretty specific requirements though, as I have allergies. I needed a poodle mix, which I thought I had found with Leroy Petersheim.
The experience started out okay. Leroy's wife was really nice and seemed knowledgeable about the dogs they had available. But things quickly went downhill from there. After bringing my new pup home, I noticed he was shedding a lot. This seemed weird for a poodle mix, so I decided to do a DNA test. And guess what? My pup wasn't a poodle mix at all. He was mixed with an Australian Shepherd and a Corgi.
This was a huge problem for me, as my allergies were getting worse by the day. I tried everything I could to make it work, even getting him neutered, shots, and puppy training. But it was just too much. I had to rehome him, which was heartbreaking. I loved that little guy so much, but my health had to come first.
When I called Leroy to discuss the situation, he insisted that my pup was a Yorkipoo and that DNA tests weren't valid. I mean, really? And why would he be shedding so much if he was a poodle mix? It just didn't make sense. They offered to take him back and give me a refund, but I couldn't bear the thought of them treating him like a commodity. I wanted him to go to a good home where he would be loved and cared for properly.
So, that's my cautionary tale. Buyer beware when it comes to Lancaster Puppies. My experience was a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. They were willing to lie to my face and take my money without thinking twice. It's just not worth the risk.
Shopping for Puppies on Lancaster Puppies: A Mixed Bag Experience
I gotta say, my experience with Lancaster Puppies wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. I'm a small time breeder, just got 8 pooches running around my crib, and when I tried to post on this site they straight up turned me down. Can you believe that? I mean, I get it, they gotta have some kind of standards, but still... a little courtesy wouldn't hurt.
Anyway, for those of you shopping around for a new furry friend, you should know that Lancaster Puppies is just a classifieds site. They don't own the pups, they just give space to breeders who want to advertise. So don't be too quick to judge the whole site based on some of the less savory dogs you might find.
That being said, there are definitely some top notch breeders on this site. Just look at those clean pups and beautiful photos! You can tell they're taking good care of their dogs. But then you got some real stinkers too, like this one guy whose pups were dirtier than my grandma's attic. I mean, seriously, a dog doesn't get that messy unless it's been living in filth. And yet this person is allowed to post, while little old me gets the boot? C'mon now.
It's pretty obvious that some of the breeders on this site are running puppy mills too. If you see pics of pups taken outside, or if they're not available on Sundays, chances are they're Amish. Nothing against the Amish, mind you, but they do have a reputation for not treating their animals as well as they should. And if you see any hair stains on the puppies, well... that's just a red flag right there.
All in all, Lancaster Puppies can be a decent place to find a new pet, but you gotta be careful and do your research. Don't just look at the pretty pictures and fall in love - make sure you're getting a dog that's been treated well and is healthy. And if you're a small time breeder like me, don't get your hopes up too high. Guess it's back to selling pups at the flea market for me.
Lancaster Puppies Review: False Advertising, Lack of Integrity, and Expensive Sick Dog
Hey, y'all! I just wanna share my experience with Lancaster Puppies, or rather, lancasterpuppies.com. Let me tell ya, I was really excited to find the best of Kentucky puppies from "Amanda" on their website. The paperwork said Christine Schwartz was the breeder, but that's neither here nor there, right?
So, when I talked to Amanda about the dog I was interested in, she told me he could be bred and that he had no genetic health issues. Sounded good to me! But then, when I drove four hours in the rain to pick him up, she drops the bomb that he only had one testicle. Like, wait, what? She never mentioned that before! And wouldn't you know it, he was diagnosed with that condition when he was already two months old.
Now, I don't know about y'all, but that seems like something pretty important to tell a buyer before they shell out money for a dog. But to make matters worse, their health guarantee/buyers sellers contract basically makes you assume all the costs for a potentially very sick dog. That's not cool, man. Really, read that agreement real careful-like before you decide to purchase from them.
Another red flag was how eager they were to get me to buy the dog. I mean, I get it, they're running a business, but c'mon. And get this - they advertised the dog's parents with different names than what's on the paperwork. What gives?
But the kicker is how they didn't even bother to tell me what food he was eating. Like, seriously? And when I complained about the expensive sick dog they sold me, the person I talked to got all snippy and unapologetic. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Honestly, I think they're basically just brokering for an Amish puppy mill run by locals. It seems like there's false advertising and a lack of integrity all around with them. So, learn from my mistake, y'all. Don't get swindled like I did.
WARNING: Lancaster Puppies is a puppy mill! Avoid supporting mistreatment and neglect of innocent animals
So, I recently checked out Lancaster Puppies and let me tell you, I was not impressed. Not only do they let breeders who have been cited for mistreatment and neglect advertise on their site, but they clearly don't care about the welfare of the dogs they sell. This is evident given that the breeder, OWEN YODER (as well as the names of sellers he disguises himself under), has been listed as one of the "Horrible Hundred" puppy mills in Ohio.
Now, I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty concerning when a website that sells puppies can't even properly vet their own breeders. Plus, the puppy I received from them was sick and underweight. When I emailed them about it, they said they'd "double check the account". Well, let me tell you, I am not holding my breath for anything promising to come out of that.
And get this, I sent numerous follow-up emails and this site has done absolutely NOTHING to prevent more puppies from being sold through this "breeder". It's almost like they don't care about the well-being of the animals they sell and just want to make a quick buck.
The fact that Owen Yoder still sells puppies on this site just goes to show that Lancaster Puppies is nothing more than an online puppy mill. It's really disappointing to see a website that claims to prevent puppy mills from operating be completely complicit in allowing them to continue.
So, please, DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THIS SITE! It's simple, if you can get a purebred puppy in a matter of weeks, you are getting it from a puppy mill. Reputable breeders have long waiting lists and limited amounts of litters. Do your research, look up what a puppy mill really is. Don't support a website that doesn't care about the well-being of their animals.
Avoid Lancaster Puppies - Inbreeding & Misrepresentation of Puppies Revealed in My Experience
I wanted to share my experience with Lancaster Puppies, aka lancasterpuppies.com. I found this website when I was searching for a toy poodle, and I fell in love with a little guy named Theo. I was so excited to bring him home and start our life together. However, things didn't go as planned.
First of all, when I took Theo to the vet, they told me he was only 5 weeks old, not the 8 weeks that Lancaster Puppies claimed. This was a big red flag, but I didn't know what to do. The vet also told me that he would have health issues because he came from an Amish farm, which was where Lancaster Puppies sourced their puppies.
But I was already in love with Theo, so I invested in health insurance and took him for all the necessary tests. It turned out that he wasn't even a full breed, despite what I had paid for. I felt cheated and scammed, but I still loved him.
Things started to get really bad when Theo was about 1.5 years old. He developed ivdd, which is a spinal disease that is often caused by inbreeding. I was devastated when I found out. I wanted to do everything I could for him, so I considered the $14k surgery that was recommended. But when I talked to the neurosurgeon, they told me that there was only a 50/50 chance that it would work, and that it would likely happen again. I couldn't put Theo through that, so I had to make the difficult decision to let him go.
Looking back, I realize now that my vet was right. He warned me about the risks of buying a puppy from an Amish farm, but I didn't listen. I fell in love with Theo and I couldn't imagine not having him in my life. But now I'm deeply heartbroken because I lost him too soon.
I strongly urge anyone who is considering buying a puppy from Lancaster Puppies to stay away. They're inbreeding their puppies and charging way too much money for them. They're also misrepresenting the breeds and ages of their puppies. When I first brought Theo home, he had worms and other intestinal issues that Lancaster Puppies didn't disclose. He also didn't have a microchip like they said he did.
It breaks my heart to think that other people might fall into the same trap that I did. I wish I had listened to my gut and done more research before buying from Lancaster Puppies. Now I'm paying the price for my mistake, and I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I did. So please, do your homework and find a reputable breeder or adopt from a shelter. Don't support businesses like Lancaster Puppies that are putting profit over the health and well-being of their animals.
attepted to scam
posted image and detail of a Shiba Inu on their website for adoption. However, when called they refuse to give more detail regarding the dog and requeste$250 direct deposit before we even see the dog in person. when further questioned, they begin to change the date of visit and ultimently denied the visit altogether. THEY ARE SCAMS DON'T TRUST THEM
Desired outcome: BAD DON'T TRUST!!!
We drove from michigan to Ohio to get our puppy after getting home we did lot of searches only to find out (dog) puppy was lister in several sights.any where from 400-2238 dollars I have try reaching out to the seller but refuses to return my calls; this leaves me to believe that this so called breeder gave us a dog not a puppy.
puppy purchased
Picked up puppy on a Sat. in April and had at the vet the following Thursday. Puppy was still advertised on line after purchased at a lesser cost. Puppy was on line born 2-5-22 but when picked up record showed 1-28-22. Also received his medical records showing dewormed and other info could not read. Vet found worms in his stomach and also an ear infection which was bad. Called to info seller about puppy's problems. All he said that another dog sold also had worms. He checked out another puppy and was told that puppy also had worms. He said he was sorry.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Toy Poodle mix pups
Advertising breeds that ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY. False advertising for sure. Was looking for a Havapoo Maltipoo Yorkiepoo or a Shihpoo. Ads say these are Maltipoo and Yorkiepoo. We go to the people home. Amish, wont show the parents, just one parents and clearly these pups are NOT yorkiepoo Maltipoo Havapoo or Shihpoo.
With smooth coats and standing ears, lol. Laughable. What a waste of my time.

Lancaster Puppies-Beverly Holiday
I met this so called breeder on June 18th in Horseheads NY to pick up my puppy. A large white van (with the back cut completely out) with Penn license plates pulled up with the puppy. The puppy became ill and was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Beverly gave me a contract with a one year health guarantee, which she refuses to honor. She has sent me threatening emails, accusing me of not taking care of the puppy and my vet killing the puppy with a distemper shot. She told me she needed a letter from the vet stating cause of death. I provided her with it (see attached) and she called me a liar and said where is the autopsy. She never mentioned I needed an autopsy. I told her we had the puppy cremated we couldn't get an autopsy. I told her I would hire an advocate to assist me in getting a refund she said, "ha, ha you do what you gotta do.NO REFUND." I just want her to honor her contract.
She goes under the name Beverly Holiday (which appears to be fake).Since I submitted a negative review she has now changed her name to Andrew. She has also changed her location from Jamestown to Busti, NY. Her email is [protected]@gmail.com
Her phone number is [protected]
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund. I paid her $2268 cash. I spent $2000 in vet bills trying to keep the puppy alive. I will cover the cost of those. As her contract states I am entitled to a full refund.
That's not the vet that issued the distemper shot. That's the 2nd vet that you got involved after the puppy didn't get better for the 1st 2 days. The 1st veterinarian whom is your real veterinarian issued you paperwork and bills that state the dog was having a vaccine reaction, not once but twice. Those veterinarians would not write you a vet letter which is why you went looking for another veterinarian that would. Hey... post those other vet bills and letters. It says right on the other vet's paperwork that the dog is having a distemper vaccine reaction and after not getting better for 3 days then you got this vet involved and look that's not a diagnosis. That's a wild guess. There was no testing done and your dog had no symptoms the 8 weeks that you had the puppy, wasn't sick one day ever. Not until the very day it got that distemper vaccine. Also vomiting diarrhea seizures not eating or drinking, fever, white cell count bad, is poisoning symptoms. Exactly after your dog had its vaccination. These aren't liver shunt symptoms. Never heard of a liver shunt killing a dog in 4 days. A vaccine yes. A dog can live for with a liver shunt for years and if it gets repaired then they live a normal life. Absolutely never heard of a dog dying from all of a sudden liver shunt symptoms in 4 days flat. Dogs that have liver shunts, they have symptoms, ongoing symptoms, they don't stop eating, they don't stop drinking, they continue everyday life and what happens is they have vomiting episodes right after they eat because their liver doesn't process proteins correctly and it makes them vomit. That goes on for weeks and they become anemic and underweight. Your dog was not enemic. This was not immediate. Your dog was not under weight. Your dog gained weight every week that you owned it. That's not the symptoms your dog had, and ongoing never and ongoing never took place. Dogs that have liver shunts have ongoing issues for weeks and months before they get properly diagnosed. Your dog got a vaccine and became extremely ill to the point where you euthanized the dog. You're a liar. You lie lie lie. Just like the day we were supposed to meet you, we told you we had to get a rental, We told you we couldn't drive our car it had a bad tire, You could have came to our home and picked up the dog. You wanted to meet halfway and we only agreed. You say that we changed our names no we didn't that's my 1st name and Andy is my husband's name you know that because we told you up front, you have all our info. You act like you met some strangers in a big giant commercial white Van but that's a lie. It was a small little Odyssey minivan, You met with my husband and child. You know that though because we talked on the phone and went over everything. Your vet letter does not give a diagnosis. That vet was not involved and did not issue the vaccine and also did not write any of the previous paperwork where it says that your dog is having a vaccine reaction to the distemper vaccine. You say a large white Van. But it was the Odyssey minivan which is really really tiny and I don't know what you're talking about the back was cut out. What? That's crazy. It also had Texas plates. Because if you go to a minivan car rental place they give mini vans from other States because they come in-and-out of their lits. Also, You could have picked up at our home. You chose not to drive the 7 hours. You wanted to meet halfway. We only agreed. We have the same phone number same names and the same email address from the very beginning. One out of a 100 dogs are injured by vaccines. We should not have been blamed. Do some research. You gave your dog a distemper shot and the shot gave the dog distemper and all the symptoms that come with distemper. It happens and it is not covered under our guarantee. Like I said why don't you show a copy of the veterinarian bills that really seen the dog the 3 days that it was deathly sick after receiving the distemper vaccine and the same veterinarian's office that told you the dog was having a vaccine reaction and put it in writing. I read it and I talked to the vet and that's why they wouldn't give you the liver shunt diagnosis. That's why you went to a different vet. If you look up Busti and Jamestown it's the same zip code. Same zip. We didn't change anything. Everything is the same. Same towns, same zip code they share. Never heard of a liver shunt killing a dog in 4 days flat with never any symptoms at any other time. no breeder has heard of that. I can tell you what dog breeders have heard of, a vaccine giving their dog the disease that the vaccine was created for and killing it in 3 or 4 days from metal toxicity, METAL toxicity, from literally being poisoned from all the metals that preserve the vaccine.

puppy
Bought a puppy on 10/25/19. Was given a shot record, worming record and a puppy that smelled like it lived in a sewer. Also said it was microchipped. Took it to the vet the next day. She is full of worms! They never wormed this dog, she doesn't even know how to drink from a bowl. And the microchip is a joke. To register her I have to pay a yearly fee. I've chipped other dogs and never did I have to pay a yearly fee! Total scam! I sent a msg to the breeder telling him she was sick and to inform other buyers. He never relied. I had no idea this place was a puppy mill! They should be shut down!

Advertising
I posted some ads on their site and I posted the wrong pictures due to phone problems and internet problems and I contacted their office to let them know that I couldn't fix it because I didn't have power at my house or internet, their was a horrible winter storm. Spoke to a lady there, she said okay. When I went back on the fix it... They told me that I switched puppies on the ads or something
Like that, i'm not even understanding exactly why, but then deleted my ads no refund. My ads we're only 2 weeks old. Paid for 45 days. Do not advertise on lancasterpuppies it's a rip off site!
