I read the dimensions on the website, but it still wasn't easy to visualize until I saw them in person. The city bag was very weighty even when it was empty and looked cheap to me. The woman in the website photo sporting it over her shoulder made it look easy, but it's not! If I had known the weight of the bag beforehand, I would have never ordered it. It was too bulky and cumbersome for me to carry and looked nothing like on the website. Not cool, Animal Rescue Site.

To make matters worse, their policy on returns is confusing and frustrating. I had to pay $11 to return a $35 purse and that doesn't include all the shipping fees. We had a long talk and saw a picture and video of her, and we all agreed that she was the perfect fit for our family. We were all excited to welcome Layla into our home.

Layla had to be transported to New Jersey, so we made all the necessary arrangements and kept in contact with her foster mom to ensure a smooth transition. We paid the adoption fees and Layla's foster mom assured us that she was taking care of all the paperwork.

It's better to donate directly to animal rescues that actually help the animals. You can try Wings of Rescue, which is a legit place to donate that saves animals. They used to partner with Greater Good, but left. You can draw your own conclusions from this.

It's really upsetting that I won't be able to buy from The Animal Rescue Site, even though I really fancy supporting animals whenever I can. I tried changing the colors online, but much to my dismay they did not provide this option. Being quite bummed out, I decided to phone customer service at around 3 pm; approximately 2 hours after I placed the order. To my surprise, they were closed- how inconvenient!

I didn't give up though. I dialed customer service again the following morning, hoping to speak with someone who would be able to assist me. Alas, it was too late to make any changes to my order. I then tried sending an email in hopes of at least being able to cancel it before it was shipped. I received a response email, but instead of a solution, it was a warning that I would be fined if I refused to accept the order if it was shipped! What a terrible experience.
