This debt collection agency keeps calling and leaving automated voicemails about my "account", which I never opened or agreed to opening an account with them. They call multiple times a day starting at 8am and they always leave a voicemail so my mailbox fills up every week. Out of all these attempts to collect a debt they have never once sent anything in the mail, unlike every other debt collection company that has contacted me. They never say their company name or which company they are collecting the debt for. Today I called them back and after multiple attempts to get through to someone the woman on the phone at their Butler, Missouri location told me "maybe if you weren't poor and paid your bills on time we wouldn't be calling so much". I am so furious I accidently sent a complaint to the wrong company. I want this harassment to STOP NOW!

I have been receiving emails from this company trying to collect a debt. They have never contacted me by phone or through mail. All the wanted was to offer a settlement. When I asked them to send all the information to me by mail and the contract of the settlement agreement they became very rude. Here is their own words We are the collection agency they have hired. In the meantime, we will make legal filing recommendations to ***, as typically when a consumer begins behaving in this manner, it is their effort to get out of a debt they know they legally owe. Unfortunately, it happens all the time. Unfortunately for the consumer, it never works. Fortunately for my client, it is an easy win for them. I want this company to stop contacting me by all means of communication. I was willing to settle this, but not with a company that is rude to people.

I have been continuously harassed by Lakeside Receivables, and the harassment has extended to associates that I have not even spoken to in years, as well as business associates and distant family. I have no idea how they attained any information pertaining to these people, but it is certainly an invasion of privacy and harassment. I am not aware of what these calls pertain to as they, in voicemails, referred to an account and getting my side of the story. I have never received mail from them, nor have I ever had an account with them. There is no validation of this organization, the account they are harassing people about, nor the legitimacy of their claim. Harassment needs to stop, specifically to people who are not associated with them if their issue is with me. I am filing suit as well as many others very soon, particularly if it continues. Thank you.

It is my understanding but not certain that Lakeside Receivables LLC is attempting to collect a debt. I have not received anything in the mail from them. I am being told just this week that they have contacted (4) of my sisters, my brother, my nephew, my son, my daughter, my daughter's boss and most likely others to attempt to get in touch with me. I am not sure why they have not sent documentation in the mail so I could at least see first hand that this is not a scam. I also do not think it is a good business practice to contact the people listed above. I would appreciate it if they would send me documentation in the mail regarding this issue and stop harassing the people above. Cheryl M has been making multiple calls to the people above everyday. This is not a collection practice this is harassment and during a time in which many people have fallen on hard times.

I have been receiving 3+ calls a day from Lakeside Receivable services. The company has been calling my employer, friends and family. I have been receiving phone calls from numbers with a New York and Boston area code. I previously received harassing phone calls from the New York phone number [protected] from a woman named Donna D that would say where she was calling from. Donna called my employer and said that I had a legal matter regarding a debt with her that needed to be addressed. I called Donna back and left a voicemail on 7/2 letting her know that it was illegal for her to contact my employer about a debt. I asked for a letter to be mailed to my home with the balance that was due and what the balance was owed for. I never received the letter and the calls stopped for about 6 weeks and have started up again . Voicemail recordings can be submitted if needed.

This company calls 20 plus times a day some days. And a 2 week. This company has called and left robo messages robocalls well over 250 times they have called family members and Friends phone numbers as well. From the company leaves a robo message they do not stay who they are and why they're calling. Every now and then a live person will leave a message and that message usually contains something like we're calling you as a courtesy. As if bombarding me 20 times a day when obviously I'm not able to talk during your business hours keep on calling and calling and calling. I called so many times my phone thinks that I'm being attacked by a scammer. Lakeside receivables even continues to call after I contacted them and asked to not be called or contacted anymore. I do not owe this company any money I wish they would stop calling my phone I'm going to change my number that's how bad it's gotten.

On Tuesday, June 8, I received a text from a code # *** stating they had been retained to attempt to collect a debt and gave me a file number. I asked for them to send me a statement in the mail as I did not know to whom was I was texting. They claimed I had stopped responding to the bills I was sent in the mail. I told them I still had no idea to whom I was texting and again I wanted a statement in the mail. That same day, they then stated they had sent me a supporting document in my email. I waited for approximately 2 hours and texted them back and let them know I checked both email and spam, no emails. They then stated it was sent the day before. I had no knowledge of any email from the day before. When I finally did find the email, there was no billing notes of any kind showing I owed any money. Either send it by mail, not email, or STOP CONTACTING ME and consider this your mistake and it paid.

This company has called me via an automated system numerous times. I pick up the line and wait for a rep and no one ever answers. I recently received a call from an number. I picked up and in answer the phone the gentleman who answered introduced himself very quick. Did not state that his call is monitored or recorded and this is an attempt to collect a debt. In talking to the person I informed them that I haven't received my emails as they stated nor any letters. He proceeded to tell and talk over me stating that if I want to play this game then so be it, but allegedly they sent numerous emails. He then stated that my cr sit is the way it is because I am a horrible person that I'm going to find out the hard way when my checks get garnished. I told him in the state of New York a collections agency can not threaten to garnish my wages for payment. He said you will see. I asked his name and he proceeded to hand up on me.

A Beth C who represents this company called my place of employment. I returned the call after work. I requested a validation letter to confirm the debt. She became very upset and very rude, and said " now you want to request something, too late". I asked her to be professional. Again raising her voice, loudly, she said You people need to pay your bills, are you a Democrat? You are probably a Democrat, they do not pay their bills. I told you to please honor my request, again, became upset. I requested she not call my place of employment as per the Fair Credit Act, again upset, Oh, you know the law? How about you pay your bills? I do not need to respect you. I have requested that they NOT call me at my place of employment which is a school. She did not care. I cannot be harassed at school. Every phone call is recorded and monitored. I request that this company honor my request to provide a validation letter and do not call my place of employment.

I have an account that is sent to them that i set up payment arrangements on back in October. I have been paying 425.00 a month since then. I set up auto payments for every 2 weeks. I have had 1 bad month of where i couldnt afford the payment. I was at work and had to ignore their calls. I recieved 2 back to back phone calls because i didnt answer the phone and then a voicemail telling me i needed to contact a lawyer because they are taking me to court. I called them back and explained i have made the other payments since setting up the arrangment and i had lost my debit card and had to order a new one and also was having a bad month financially. John stated he didnt care and that i need to make the payment today or they would see me in court. He told me basically i was a liar and that they dont tollerate this kind of stuff. I either make the payment or go to court. I feel this is very much harrassment and i ended up having to block the number on my phone.

This is a notorious debt scammer, Lakeside Receivables, LLC, with a lengthy history of federal violations of law (my *** and *** searches show a 10-year pattern of willful disregard of FDCPA, TCPA and CFPA statutory restrictions, leading to numerous legal prosecutions). Somehow and someway they have my name, phone number and other information, and have been calling me over the past two weeks. As I used to work for the Massachusetts AG's office, they picked the wrong person to mess with this time. I object to any telephonic communications and demand all such communication be submitted in writing, their dubious claim of a debt notwithstanding. Any attempt of their usual shenanigans (contacting employers, neighbors and relatives in an attempt to shame a victim into an extortionary compliance with their demands) will be met with quick lawsuits filed in NH and federal courts. Further, my current employer forbids personal messages of this sort [FDCPA 805 (a)(3)].

James R has been a complete parasite. I hope this reaches him or his superior. First of all, theres the fact of 10 or more calls a day to my phone. When my inbox became full Mr.R*** proceeded to call everyone ive ever made contact with. Ex brother in law, abusive ex, husband, mother, father, mother in law, and random people from my past. Not Once or twice MULTIPLE TIMES TO EVERYONE. Is it not against the law to HARASS family members. You are allowed to contact one time to family i believe, not my job to know the law it is his though. He has been rude and off-putting to everyone hes reached out to. The final straw was raising his voice and being rude with my mother in law today when she asked what the call was in refrence to, then he hung up. He has said ***, ***, and lakeside receivable as his company. I am reaching out to a lawyer as the original debt listed was from *** dental whom i already have a case on for this exact debt. I will see you in court Mr.R***. STOP NOW

This company is calling in regard to a collection. However, I have not received any correspondence by mail that outlines account information, or for what creditor the collection is for. Spam and scam calls are extremely prevalent, and without written (printed) correspondence, I question the validity. Their website also does provide any definitive proof of company legitimacy. In effort to protect my information, I do not engage in the attempted contact. The company also calls my phone at 7:07 am nearly each day. That is too early for attempting contact. This further makes me question validity since I would assume they are aware I am a resident in *** (if they are privy to my information from a creditor). I am concerned of their attempted contact with extended family members, as it was disclosed (on their voicemail) my name and that they are calling for debt collection. If I understand the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they are not permitted to disclose that unless they are certain I am the receiving party of that information. If there is indeed a collection, I will be cooperative in payment. However, correspondence needs to be sent by mail.
