I hired Kwik Dry to clean and disinfect/deodorize our downstairs carpet

I hired Kwik Dry to clean and disinfect/deodorize our downstairs carpet. The total cost was $109, with $44 from a Groupon for the cleaning and $65 for the rest. They finished the job in just 45 minutes. One of the workers mentioned that it might take 6 to 8 hours for the carpet to dry. I kept checking it every hour, but it remained completely wet. After 11 hours, we had to use our own carpet shampooer to remove the excess water. To our surprise, we found a lot of dog hair still left on the carpet. When we asked the worker about it, he casually mentioned that they had only loosened it for us. Later, he called me back and explained that if we removed the water, we would also be removing the disinfectant/deodorizer they had applied because it was mixed with water. I requested a partial refund due to the inconvenience and the fact that the carpet was not properly cleaned. Instead, he offered to come back and do it again. However, we declined his offer as we do not want him to return.
