We don't know much about how Krystal handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Krystal The Manager

I went to Krystal around 10:30 Am 8-24-23

I ordered 12 Krystal’s and one lg fry… I sat at the window for about 10-15 minutes the girl even took food out front … When she came back her and a manager was doing something with money then the acting manager took my payment.. Then I waited few more minutes then the Acting manager came and asked me to pull up I asked about how much longer she said 3-4 minutes.. I waited 10 minutes or so and still no one so o locked up my car went in and the Acting Manager said the hamburgers are still on the grill.. I stated I have been waiting over 10 minutes since she pulled me up. I then asked for a refund she said just a minute and then went to do something then came and did a refund.. While I was waiting for her to come back a staff member said your Krystal’s are right there they had been sitting there.. All along the Acting manager never once apologized or anything.. I know how hard it is now a days to find staff but OMG

Krystal unorganized

The manger babe a nasty attitude and rude I use work there but now it's not the same plus they still owe me checks I never had this problem before short handed on staff the manger firing people's for no reason then I had to work but I was driving 2 hrs away and still have stay all day and have to open sometimes so someone need to check Into it drive thru time don't need what it supposed be I knew everything I'm there

Krystal Need help immediately

Placed online order on July first because website said store open 24 hours. However, the store was closed & had been closed for several hours when your website ALLOWED me to place & pay $11.64 for an order. I have been filing 1-2 complaints every 5 days since incident but no one has even tried to reach me.

This is an actual theft & will bring a case for $12 since it has become an issue based on principle at this point! I will also lodge complaint with BBB- although, y’all have filed chapter 11 & May not care about it, Krystal STOLE $11.64 from me, a disabled female first responder, & they NEED to refund what they WRONGFULLY took or face legal action. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves!

Desired outcome: Refund $11.64 IN FULL ASAP!

Krystal Krystal in mobile Alabama across from tenders and wings 🪽

Place is nasty looks like they do not wipe down tables or windows or chairs. They don’t sweep or mop. 10:30 in morning place was a mess. Took 20 minutes to finish our order because the lady kept helping others and would roll her eyes and say anything else. We was standing and getting our drinks they were handing to us and the lady from kitchen told us to sit down. I said we will she is handing us our drinks. Very rude people acted like we were such an inconvenience being there.

Desired outcome: I was there to show my nephews how good they are just to end up having the worst experience I’ve ever had.

No to mention this incident made me so upset that I hurt my own grandmother in anger. My dad said she should press charges so I told him i wished he were dead. They are pressing chargse.

Krystal Service

The tuscaloosa, AL krystals location is a complete joke! The will rarely take your order and more often than not will act like they are closed! It suprises me how they are still in business! Today at 11:30 so many people waiting in the drive through and they said they were doing shift change during lunch hour lol! Service is terrible if you happen to get it at all! I remember loving to go here with my family as a kid and it is a shame what it has turned in to! This has been going on since the remodel years ago!

Desired outcome: A response from anyone just to even act like someone cares! It says krystals customer service is rated very low 7 out of 100. I challenge you to prove them wrong!!!

Krystal Reporting my general manger and mangers .

I have been working at Krystal’s for about 2 months now and I’ve been working my but off over hours to stay and help doing anything I can . Helping the store cleaning it even tho it’s disgusting it’s sad . I’m being accused by my managers of stealing money and I’m on camera giving the customers back their money . Shay complained about too many voids and I can’t void anything off I’m not a manger so I took proof that customers drove off and she didn’t care she’s still blaming me . I have never stolen Any money from them or any job I’ve ever worked at and I’m offended because there lying to me and sending me on a wild goose chase instead of telling me I’m fired or something. I have heard nothing and it’s been a week . I don’t deserve this treatment and I’ve done nothing but be a good hard worker.

Krystal Store CHN016 Incorrect order and horrible customer service

I ordered a number 5 with cheese and bacon to be told there is no bacon until 6am. I said ok a number 5 with cheese with 2 additional chics. My order was not repeated, I was given a total. I get the window and music is blasting and loud talking. I finally get my food and it is incorrect I repeat what I ordered only for your employees to yell from the back and your window clerk "I know what I heard, I heard a number 4". Very rude and disrespectful. This is in Chattanooga, TN address 7300 Shallowford Rd. [protected]. There is no Team member name on the receipt. I took a picture of the store QR code the window clerk go tells I'm assuming the Manger for the manager to then come to the window to tell me my food is cooking. When I finally get my correct order I had to ask for my drink and no condiments in the bag. This is hideous and ridiculous customer service. They could not hear what I ordered and assumed to give me what they thought they heard due to the music blasting and loud talking. As a business please set a standard. You are open 24 hours a day. My total for a number 5 is the same as a number 4 with 2 extra chics $17.01, how is that possible? This should not be what is acceptable.

Desired outcome: I need a follow up phone call with the corporate office or corporate management.

Krystal Victory Dr & Manchester Rd &Mall locations

On June 13 Tuesday went ti VictoryDr and went to the Door to go in at 7:40 a.m. it was locked finally got someone to acknowledge me told they was not going to open that day by a Female worker. I asked if I could place an order thru the Drive In … No again Not Open! So I left went to the Manchester Expressway (MALL) location at 8:00 A.M.—there was three to four people in the business sitting in the lobby I was greeted not allowed to come in by a Female and told I was could not come in because if the “COVID”! I said why are those people sitting there they work here then she said place your order thru drive in or just go somewhere else to eat All of this on Tuesday on June 13th. Krystal The service and food quality.

My husband sent back his order 3 times. He drove around and gave the food back 3 times! They were not busy at all, they simply didn’t care. He orders cheese Krystal only. No pickles. No onions. No mustard. Cheese Krystal plain only. He sent it back and they gave him the exact same Krystal burger did not even attempt to fix it. I am beyond shocked at the costumer service because I love Krystal’s but this incident is ridiculous and was such an inconvenience after he just got off work from a long shift he wanted so tiny quick to eat. But quick it was not. He couldn’t eat it at all and threw it in the trash afterward, such a waste of money. I want a refund, credit, gift card, anything to help ease this situation. He called me so upset and said just asked me to cook him some chicken nuggets in the air fryer because it was the quickest, I was already in bed but I wanted my husband to eat. I’ve sent several emails to all different types of emails that say Krystal support but have yet been contacted. It keeps on saying message failed to deliver. The incident occurred on 06/02/2023 @10:30pm. Also they gave my husband the merchant copy of receipt, not the customer receipt.

Desired outcome: Refund. Some type of compensation.

Krystal Food not prepared right.

I order (3) breakfasts and nothing was prepared right, bread not toast, eggs thrown together, grits looked half done, and the scrambled eggs was a disaster. A reputable restaurant should not deliver such a disaster of food from their drive thru window. I will never order from this Krystal again and my total came to $20.13. I am highly disappointed I did not even attempt to eat this thrown together food. I had order from Krystal @ 7500 Siwell Road/ Byram, Ms. [protected]. May, 8, 2023.

Krystal Undercooked Food, Overcharge

My name is Tamara Walker and my email is [protected]@gmail.com phone # [protected] On 04/20/2023 at 4:36 pm took my order back due to overcharged and undercooked cold food. Asked the manager for a full refund. Manager refused and refuses to give me her name or her Manger, walked off left me standing there. She left a receipt in front of me so I got her name off of the receipt and Vandelia thats her name and the 4male employees started yelling at me with vulger language, she said " your stealing receipts and got almost touching my face telling me too get out she is going to call the law. Had the whole group coming at me all the way to door. My 77 yr old mother was waiting st the curb ,the manager was yelling at the both of us and slammed n locked the door. I want my refund of $9 and disaplinary action taken for this. I feared for my safety.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate my refund and an opology and disaplinary action for this manager. Thank you

Krystal False Advertising

On [protected] at 10:30am ay our local Krystal’s in Foley, AL I pulled up to order breakfast the sign advertises that breakfast is served until 11am everytime I come to this location they aren’t serving breakfast they stop serving breakfast at around 10am that is an inconvenience when the sign says 11am. This is constantly happening and if they are gonna stop serving breakfast early then they should change the signs with the proper time.

Desired outcome: I’d appreciate it if they either change the times on the menu board or honor the breakfast times they have listed.

Take 25 minutes with only a few customers refused to give me my pick up.order through drive thru though I selected drive thru said they don't do that here I don't have time to wait in a store as I'm on my lunch break and I'm just trying to go in and out so I have time to eat now I wont... ridiculous absolutely the worst serves I've ever had in any fast food store.

Desired outcome: Get some corporate or higher upside in this store show these employees how to do their job as a cook of 10 year this is just pure laziness on these associates

My receipt is time stamped 1:19 PM - Wednesday March 15, 2023
I went into the restaurant and asked for 12 Krystals - and I asked for them to be made fresh. No mustard but with extra pickles. A woman directed employees to take 12 burgers "direct from the grill" with my other instructions. I paid, took my food to my car and the burgers were not even remotely warm so they were not made fresh. The reason I asked for them fresh is because I can't eat 12 burgers at a time so I take them home and prepare them for future warming. I wanted a good outcome for warming. The buns were dried and the meat looked sickly to say the least. I had problems at this location before and was asked to wait for a change in management to occur. I gave plenty of time but the outcome is terrible. So disappointed. Not happy even in the least.

Desired outcome: This order should be replaced asap.

Krystal Horrible service

Lastnight March 2 2032 at around 10pm I went threw the drive threw at Krystals in florence Alabama

After waiting to order im asked to pull to the window to pay as the lady runs my Debit card she tells me my food is cooking and asked me to pull forward and she would bring out my food, so I did after almost 15 minutes I roll my window down and look into the dining room which a that time was closed to the public and witness the girl who was supposed to be cooking my food bent over the front counter on her phone the girl who took my order was setting at a table on her phone along with a older woman who was in street cloths short sleeved [censored] shorts and socks with no shoes on and both of them were eating while myself and another gentleman had been setting in the parking lot waiting on out food for over 15 mins at this point so I exit my truck and go knock on the door to just ask the girl for a refund as I knock on the door the dark skinned girl who was supposed to be cooking the food started screaming cussing at me saying this is what we do when we are waiting on food to cook I replied that it dosnt take 15 mins to make 10 Krystals so I just want a refund because this was my 2nd experience like this from this store. Both employees continue to argue and then the old lay in street cloths started yelling so I go to my truck to get my card wallet and phone so I could record how they were treating me when I had the girl my card I explained I wanted to stand in the doorway so I could see what she did with my card that's when the old lady really started cussing me threatening to call police on me and all. I inform all three of them I would be reporting them and that's when the lady in street cloths and no shoes laughed and said I don't work here I was shocked yall allow people to be in that store walking around the food with no shoes on and that arnt employed there like that.

All of this interaction is on yalls security cameras as well as my cell phone and if something isn't done about the way I was treated I will be contacting the health department the BBB and the news station

These so called employees are going to make someone sick ! I WOULD APPRECIATE SOMEONE GETTING IS CONTACT WITH ME ASAP

Desired outcome: I feel these girls should be fired honestly because they cussed me and screamed at me for wanting a refund on top of the unsanitary conditions they were preparing my food in and havein a old woman walking around bare foot

Krystal Charged for online order I did not receive

On February the 5th at 12:08 a.m. I placed an order using the Krystal app. I received a confirmation email stating to pick my order up at 12:31 a.m. When we got to the restaurant a lady employee was walking out and said that they were closed. I proceeded to tell her that I placed an online order and paid with my card and that the website showed they closed at 2am. At that point she told me that there is nothing she could do at the store that I would need to go online. So I went online and filled out all of the forms and received one email stating that someone would be with me shortly and please allow 72 hours. It's been 7 days. Can you please help me with this or direct me in the right direction. I have called every phone number I could find for corporate office and all I get is recording. I just want my refund and I feel that 7 days is sufficient to sole this. Thank you.

Krystal 3 Egg Breakfast/Scrambled Eggs

PLEASE someone at Krystal teach employees that a scrambled egg is one in which the egg is cracked, then the yolk and white are beaten together before being put on grill with end result being yellow colored scrambled egg. It's NOT an egg that is cracked with contents being put on grill intact; then fried. Then before being served to customers the fried egg is chopped and pushed around on the grill. The fried scrambled eggs have been served to customers ordering scrambled eggs at the Gardendale AL, Troy/Ozark AL, Dothan AL Krystals.

Desired outcome: Yellow scrambled eggs NOT fried eggs chopped up.

Krystal Incorrect order

I visited store bir002 on 12/15/2022 at 7:50am, I specifically asked for the breakfast scrambler bowl with bacon combo. I get to work and check my food and I have a sunriser with sausage combo in my bag. I have tried calling this location over 10 times and noone there is answering. I have tried calling the corporate number that you all have online and that is not helpful at all either. I really would appreciate someone getting back with me. [protected]@yahoo.Com

Krystal Disgusting/socially degrading tv commercial trashing women of color

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

This email is to express my concern and discontent for a most disturbing commercial you’ve been airing, mostly during the afternoon and prime time tv schedule; thereby influencing and/or having a negative effect on young girls and women between the ages of 9 through 19 and are largely a target of ‘sex traffickers/predators and other sex-deviants.

The commercial I am referring to is the disgustingly immoral “Side Chick” commercial, which shows sleezily dressed models/actresses shown in fairly upscale settings indicating they need ascribe to becoming nothing more in life than someone’s ‘trophy/sex toy’ or as the Bible refers to them harlots! All the while perpetuating the dysfunctional misery created by the presence of the proverbial ‘home-wreckers’ of not only the American family, which is already fractured, but the disparity of equity within the black community. One whereby opportunity has not only been stifled by racism and economically recessed by political abuses, but a general consensus that our children – daughters in particular – are something for depraved miscreants to use, inflict hostility upon and toss by he wayside. This sort of foul message exposes and subjects our young women to all manner of disgusting psycho-sexual abuses including violent often ignored murders. And, in many cases without investigation or retribution of any kind the world over – enough is enough!

If this is the best opinion your ignorant, insensitive and ill-informed advertising executives and marketing staff have of black women and girls, kindly keep it to yourself! We don’t need to have this type of garbage slung in our faces over and again, then continue to spend our hard earned money on products and services sold by those who have such disdain for all women and black women in particular that they’d use a simple hamburger commercial to denigrate the living daylights out of them. There is no amount of ‘glossing up’ sin, immorality and insulting racist doctrine that any sane person would consider to be acceptable, rather it represents the pinnacle of anti-social abuse against all manner of dignity and decency that this country aspires to and should be encouraging at all times.

While I do not profess to speak for all women [some have no trouble over-exposing themselves to negative scrutiny for attention or to remain relevant/extend their ‘15minutes of fame’], I guarantee you I speak for enough of them to know they do not want their sisters, daughters, neighbors’ daughters perpetually trashed in the media this way just so you can continue to line your pockets via the shame and misery of those who often feel helpless, even hopeless to object or speak up. It’s time for women to stop paying corporations to disrespect them and time for you and your decision makers to get a reality check – the sooner, the better!

Horribly disappointed!

Desired outcome: Have it removed immediately and make a public apology stating that you will no longer promote and/or subject women and girls to this type of low-class, insulting behavior!

This was SO well said and NEEDED to be said. These commercials strike a level of anger inside of me on so many different levels. I have sons and daughters to protect from the perception commercials like those give. Not only do we have to filter just about EVERY TV show out there, but now Krystal restaurants have decided to air this HORRIBLE depiction of our people on continuously run commercial ads on multiple channels. I definitely will NEVER purchase another product from there and want to do more to bring awareness to our people that we don't have to accept this demonic portrayal of our young ladies.

Krystal Krystal employee threating customers

This Krystal location has been terrible experience for some time but tonight an employee threatened me and I don't take threats lightly in today's day and age. India is the Manager on duty at the time and was present for the employee who threatened me. Let me start off by saying I'm not letting this go and will be calling Corporate Offices Monday morning to express my concern for allowing employees to behave this way. I did not raise my voice or use curse words.

What happened was I entered the store to grab dinner on my way home. I ordered 2 Double Cheese Krystals. There was a customer who was upset because she had been waiting 30 minutes sitting off to the side. I said 'oh really, wow' and about 10 minutes after I entered the store, someone finally acknowledged me and asked to take my order. I ordered my 2 cheeseburgers. I waited and waited and waited, then another person came in and they said they weren't taking anymore orders that the 'Grill is on Hold' as if customers know what that means. People in the drive through were getting upset and coming inside waiting for their food. Everyone was irate so I asked what the 'Grill being on hold' meant. The order taker employee said that means they can't use the grill for 10-15 minutes and I overheard them telling the same thing to the drive through for about 20 minutes straight. I asked for my money back because I can't wait any longer for 2 cheeseburgers. The order taker said mine was almost ready and the grill closed after my order. Mind you, this is 6 pm...not near closing time. Yes, it was a little busy but it was nothing unmanageable. I've seen other restaurants way busier. So I said again, 'Excuse me, you told me that mine was almost ready and that was 10 minutes ago...what's going on?" Then someone else said the grill was on hold and I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes. I said that's not what I was told and the other lady argued with me saying no one told me that. The order taker stood in silence and people behind me heard the whole thing, including a couple who was sitting and eating.

I repeated again that if my food wasn't ready, it's been over 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers that I had to leave, I couldn't wait any longer. One of the ladies with a headset on said "I ain't giving no motherfuckin' refund'. Mind you, I do not cuss, so I apologize but it gets worse. Way worse.

I hadn't even spoken to that lady so I'm not sure why she chimed in. The order taker said he'd have to wait for the manager to return to do the refund. I said who is that and how long? After about another 10 minutes, apparently the manager wasn't in the building and was on break outside. She walked in and the couple eating at a table motioned to me that was the manager. About 5-10 minutes prior to that, a male with a buzzcut and thin beard walked in, did something at the register and then went to help out in the kitchen. I had no interaction with this person. Then when India, the Manager came over to talk to me I simply said I can't keep waiting for just 2 cheese burgers, it's been well over 30 minutes so I need my refund processed. About that same time, the lady with the headset kept escalating things mumbling cuss words under her breath saying '[censored] this [censored] that' but it wasn't directly to me so I ignored it. India said she didn't need my card to process the refund and began to do the refund. The cussing lady told her not to do it in the register in the lobby but to do it in the drive through one. All 4 employees huddled by the register and that's when the male with the buzz haircut and beard said and I quote "[censored] that motherfucker, I'll beat his [censored]" and the other employees were standing in the way like trying to calm him down. I said, excuse me are you talking to me? I was appalled. I didn't have a great attitude because after all I'm waiting over 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers. I did not raise my voice or cuss, please go back and review your tapes. It's one thing to be agitated about being 'busy' (it wasn't THAT busy, come on you offer big sackfuls of Krystals and if someone orders one, the whole place comes to a standstill?). But it's an entirely another thing for an employee to threaten me. I didn't feel safe after that and just wanted to leave, at that point the manager hands me cash for the refund while the buzz cut male was still cussing up a storm. Mind you, I just wanted my money back and to leave but they initially said they wouldn't do a refund. So I was about to leave with no food and no money because of the hostile situation. The couple eating in the lobby then walked me out to my car saying they were doing me wrong. I hadn't gotten an attitude but the lady with the headset who originally cussed was yelling that I had a bad attitude from the moment I walked in. That's not true, I think she was referring to the many other people who were upset leaving the drive through and being asked to pull up and wait. They were coming into the lobby one by one complaining and leaving. That wasn't me though, I was told by the order taker that my 2 cheeseburgers were 'almost done' and I didn't have to wait longer for this 'Grill being on hold'. So I didn't have an attitude, I waited patiently in silence.

I'm reporting this solely because as a frequent Krystal customer, I will never go to this place again. I will be leaving an honest review on every platform I can find and calling Corporate Office. I do not appreciate being threatened by an employee who wasn't even there half the time. It seemed like they had no concern for customers because there were other people in the lobby and their filthy mouths could be heard throughout the entire lobby. India didn't do anything 'Wrong', she processed my refund but she clearly didn't have control of employees. I don't want any free meals, I don't want an apology except from the employee who threatened bodily harm or notification that disciplinary actions were taken. I understand this is a fast food restaurant and it's not an easy job. But I did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. They turned away at least 10 people between the lobby and drive through, so I thought someone should be aware. I'm in the process of finding out that employee's name so I can file a formal complaint with Krystal Corporate Office for find who the owner is.

I also took pictures of the outside of the drive through for 4 weeks straight. This is aside from the incident above. Something has happened to this place that makes it absolutely filthy. The people in the lobby complained about the taste of their sodas and threw them out. I recall I stopped getting sodas there for the past several months for the same reason! Maybe there should be a Health Inspection? Either way, first and foremost I cannot sit idly by and not say anything when an employee is allowed to threaten a paying customer. I will NEVER go back to this Krystals again. I've been going to this Krystals for as long as it's been open, as a 46 year resident of Orange Park. I visited the other one on Blanding frequently and they were the nicest people you could meet. However this one on Park Ave has the rudest, filthiest mouthed, unpleasant employees I've ever met. I have never lodged any complaints for any restaurant before this. But this one...needs to be reported before someone gets hurt or someone takes those threats more seriously than I did. I'm a grown man who can take care of myself but the people in the lobby felt the need to still walk out to my car with me, that should tell you how aggressive they were. I hope you have audio on your lobby cameras, you'd want to investigate this one, I assure you.

I would like to be contacted about this matter, it's a shame every Sunday I've gone to this Krystal for years once in the morning on my way to Orlando and once on my way back. I get 2 Sunrisers in the morning and 2 Double Cheese on the way back. Nowadays, I'm not confident I'll actually get food. I've gone through in the mornings and they told me the grill was closed that I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes. Naturally I can't wait that long just to PLACE the order, it's called 'Fast' Food for a reason. If you could please forward to the Owner of this store, I'm sure that he or she would like to know how much business is being lost. I'm really surprised the owner hasn't gone through the drive through to see the experience the customers have. I took a bunch of pictures for my social media review...from the ordering box being nasty to the drive through ground being full of trash...I wouldn't be surprised if this location closes soon.

Desired outcome: I would like the Owner to make improvements so I can enjoy this restaurant again.
