As a competitor, I cringe when I hear their ads. Do they really want people to believe that a 3 year old company, using subcontractors, is going be able to honor a 50 year warranty? Seriously, it is so wrong!
We are a 4th generation roofing contractor that can prove we have honored our warranty many times over our 100+ years. We warranty our roofs for 20 years, using our experience and expertise, own trained employees, and quality materials. Many of our roofs last longer than the warranty, but we don't have the gumption to promote a ridiculous 50 year warranty. I feel bad for anyone who is gullible enough to believe such.
