Both living room slides are so damaged by water that the floors are delaminated and you can see that from the outside as both floors are falling out. The inside wall panel of passenger side slide has water damage and rippling. We have 3 cracks in the fiberglass and a broken strut on the frame. Because of the broken strut, the floor in our bedroom is shifting down and the panels in our closet are separating.
Our bedroom slide was leaking previously and the carpet beside the bed was moldy. My husband's a carpenter and fixed it. We live in our trailer full time and it was easier than sending it to a RV repair place. We also had a leak in our front cap. My husband replaced the seal. Because we did not report either of these issues to Keystone, they are declining our warranty claim. Our structural warranty was also expired 6 months prior to our claim, which is another reason they declined our claim. They denied any manufacturing defect and said we never maintained the unit and that it was our fault. My husband inspected the trailer regularly and made necessary repairs.
Desired outcome: We believe Keystone should take responsibility and cover the cost of repairs.
