Integrity is important…
Opened a parts box from JEGS beyond the 90 day return period to find that they had sent me the wrong part because they had labeled the part incorrectly. I was sure they'd recognize that it was their mistake and that they would not want the customer to be penalized for their mistake but not so. Offering to sell me a replacement part with free shipping was a "courtesy" they said. They lost a customer; AMES PERFORMANCE--here I come.
Recommendation: Companies have to own it when they make a mistake, regardless of "dates"...they should stand behind their shipping you the right part...and if they ship you the wrong part, no matter when you open the box...they're willing to take the product back and ship you the right part. If a Company is not willing to do this; don't do business with them.
