Intex Recreation review: did not hold up!!!

i am a single mom, on social security... i raised my son on my own since hes 2yr. he is now 14yr. the greatest son a mom could ever ask for... money IS VERY TIGHT FOR US! last summer i purchased an intex oval swimming pool from walmart! it took me all winter to save up for it, to many ppl. its loose change but i support my family on my own. i am not a welfare or foodstamp mom. i set it up when my son went to visit his father for the weekend. i was soo happy and proud to be able to do this for him. to my misfurtune, the next morning, i woke up and the water level was less than half full! my heart sank! so, i filled it up again, that night my son came home and we went in the back yard and the water was low again! my son saw how dissappionted i was- i wanted to cry, he said dont worry, its the thought that counts mom! my son is too understanding, i want to give him the world but the little things is what i can afford right now... so, we finally found that it had a hair line tair along the side... a friend of mine checked over the box it came in and noticed it was re-taped! we took the pool down and packed it up and brought it back... walmart refused to take it back! stating we used it... i had the receipt which was purchased on a friday and brought back on a monday! I DIDNT EVEN WANT MONEY, JUST ANOTHER POOL! they refused... i was out 400.00 and a pool! i wrote to your company 2x and never heard back from anyone, i wanted to send the pool directly to your company in hopes of getting a replacement, BUT NO RESPONSE! until i came across this website today, THE FOLLOWING SUMMER! i think it was an unfair deal to my son and myself. Some of us are on a fixed income and not all our kids are spoiled... i will no longer shop at walmart! sincerely, an upset mom, sally ragan
