Name's Ayo Jeremiah. A young lady named Edima Umoh aka Desiree Umoh @desthequeen on IG needs to be reprimanded for online trolling. She initially reached out to me for coaching, business idea (her old page was @stew_goddess) and also needed credit help. She was visiting Mexico and reached out so I decided to invite her to stay at one of my AirBnB’s properties in Cancun. Apparently, she assumed that since I invited her, the STAY WOULD BE FREE. I insisted she pay for her stay and charged her for the entire duration, but she started demanding a FULL REFUND. After denying her request for months, she spitefully created fake social media profiles to post damaging comments about my personal life, business, and family. Apparently, she had also been stalking my wife, friends, and family online telling them I owed her money. I advised all of them to ignore her, but it just fueled her evil soul. The hate and slander grew even bigger as she proceeded to claim that I had intimate encounters with transgendered sex workers in Mexico. I also believe she stole my USA passport in order to use it as leverage to get a refund. To this day, I choose to ignore it and just laugh at it. But it is getting out of hand. On September 20th, 2022, a hacker broke into my Instagram account and I lost complete access. The perpetrator changed my username, password and email address. As a result, I'm no longer able to access my account.. The hacker has access to not only mine, but all of my followers' personal information. A few of my followers reached out to me that they are the new victims of this attack. Please let me know the steps to recover my Instagram account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I made this for my cat Maxie. The log in is: maxie_kitty. The hacker deactivated my account. This I know cuz the hacker didn't know I linked it to my facebook, when he changed the name it shows disabled and he changed the password.

He changed my log in from maxie_kitty to BIC

Instagram decides on who wins and loses arbitrarily. Once I reached a threshold of 4,000 followers, my account was shut down, a week at a time, on grounds I was using an app to gain followers. I was not. During the times my account did work, various functions, such as the numbers of likes for my art postings, follower counts and the like, simply did not work. Yet, so called influencers miraculously appear with 10s of thousands of followers, but follow no one. I went to Instagram because I thought it a good platform to market my art. Not.

I will never help anyone on instagram again.

It was so heartbreaking that after my Instagram was hacked, despite all the verification and mails Instagram couldn't help fix anything. Rather all they say to me is "My information couldn't be confirmed.

Nevertheless I was able to get access back to my account with the help of Mr Brooks. thank you very much for all you do. if you are a victim too search for @Brookdarkhack on Telegram. he can help you get your account back.

It's absolutely egregious that Instagram allows Its users to be extorted by hackers who steal their accounts. The only way to get your account back is by sending the hackers streaming/gaming gift cards. IG should be doing something about the hackers instead of making it impossible for innocent people to get their accounts back. Myself and my daughter have been in contact with this guy, we have emails to prove it. This guy has taken over 600+ IG accounts. Why isn't something being done about it?

Why is it that both Facebook and Instagram has no customer service? They are both owned by multi-billionaire company META. I have not been able to get into my instagram account. It is a professional account. They send the two factor authorization hours later and claim that the backup codes don't work. I have sent a couple of emails to the company with no response. I will be mailing them a letter. Customers need to be able to reach a human with any questions or concerns regarding their accounts! I was not sure if I had to contact your business and if not, please direct me as to where to go. Thank you.

Hi Instagram...I am still waiting for a refund from a Laceylooner ...was promised it would be be paid back into my Paypal account ...she tells me she has had the refund from Ebay...has even asked for my email to pay the monies in...just keeping me waiting ...still not received the monies...just messing me about... just glad I did'nt part with any money to make a clip...regards Oliver Conquest

My account was hacked in the early morning of June 11th, 2022. My daughter was playing with my phone and gave this person my details bc she thought she was helping them. I have asked instagram for help numerous times and just get a reply back that they cannot help me. Asking me what device I used to sign up and so on. It says they ask for a video but I haven't been asked for one. Just a pic with my name, username and a code on a piece of paper. I'm sent a verification code and when I put it in it says it's logging me in but the circle just goes round and round. I signed up for my account almost 10 years ago, how on earth am I supposed to remember exactly what device I used to sign up. I have an unmistakable birthmark on my face and can not understand why that cannot get me in if i'm sending them pics, I even had it linked to my facebook and shih szu's account. If they can tell what device I used to sign up then they can surely verify by the other things

I lost my account on the third of July 2022. At 3:30pm, I received a dm from one Eric Jia, asking me to help him become an influencer by casting a vote. To do this he asked me to screenshot a link that I will receive from Instagram. I did so because I wanted to help him. I was kicked off my account in minutes. My phone number and email were no longer linked. I then followed the procedures to get my account back as described on the Instagram help page. I found out that the hacker took off all pictures of my face on my Instagram as well. It took me a couple of hours of trying and retrying to get to the “need more help link” because I no longer had pictures of myself on my account and couldn’t use the selfie option. Red flag number one. it took them 6 hours to verify my identity and send me the password link. I was able to change my password but, I couldn’t log in because the hacker set up duo authentication to his cell phone. I resubmitted a ticket and asked for help on this front. I just wanted to log in to delete my account. However, I received no such help. I was asked to reverify my identity around 5 times. They confirmed it was me every time before telling me to resubmit a ticket to continue. Finally, I get an email telling me to log into my account to change the duo authentication. I am unable to do so each time because I can’t receive the code that would log me into the account! And I can’t change the duo authentication without logging in. Insta, please fix this problem! The hacker is posting bitcoin advertisements and harassing my friends with these posts! Please, just stop this madness and delete the account!

My instagram account was disabled for violating term, however I was hacked and therefore wasnt me. I have contacted facebook, meta and instagram for nearly 2 months on social media, done their help centre forms everyday for months with no reply or restoring account. I lost a baby and have last memories on that account, as they know but only reply I get is to use help centre, which already done for months. They sent me a email to take picture holding code and details of account, but refuse to actually reply and restore account, I need sorted urgently

Instagram common this is not funny to ban users for "community guidelines" violations if they have never been to your platform with an account [made the account before] and just create an account.

i asked you once to fix a glitch for my email so i could use it to make my first account. a few days later i made the account and started to set it up. during the setup 2 unknown people started following me and i removed them cause it seemed odd that they found my account within 3 minutes of creating it. haven't posted a thing yet, all i was able to do is follow my friends [that i promised i would since they only post to Instagram their new work] and set up the settings to private so i don't get any spam.

months go by and i wanted to verify my data after a phishing email came into my email about my account and find its banned. contacted you and did the verification to unlock my account with the code and everything... no answer.

i know its still technically covid short staff but the turn around for this is much longer than to fix the email issue just for a email detailing what i supposedly violated in the community guidelines.

what makes this worse? oh IDK maybe that eventually, according to oculus and Facebook, Instagram, Facebook, and oculus accounts will be merged into Facebook account blocking me from using ether one now.

My account was hacked by a nigerian ip address and they changed my email and my phone number verification. When I received the email sent by their "security" notification, the url was invalid. I've sent them dozens of emails trying to recover my account. Sent screenshots of all the account information and posts as well as copies of the emails I received to stop this email change request and they do nothing! Instagram is bull$%$

My name is Trevor my surename/last name is "Amolo" an my Instagram user name is totalybord7.

I don't have access to my account anymore which is "tototalybord7" someone else is controlling it my pictures are still on that account there is nothing I can do to access it.

This user called amahlekheswa22 this persons's name is Amahle Kheswa who asked me for help to remove my email from from Instagram account so that I can put in there account I did that and about 2 minutes later my Instagram app on my phone logged out I tried logging in with my password but it did not work I got a notification showing incorrect password this person probably changed it my laptop got logged out as well.

This person then changed my name on instagram to "Solomon iruoghene".

This person gave their email if it was [protected]@gmail.com.

My phone number is +[protected].

My email is [protected]@gamil.com.

An returned it to me an I remember the last past that was used for the account before this person changed it an I would be okay with doing a face recognition or a video selfie.

My Instagram account @mikkokookoo was hacked a week ago. Even though I immediately replied to Instagram’s emails about changes in my email address and phone number (caused by the hacker) they still managed to ignore my requests to cancel the changes.

The hacker also changed both my profile name to @_mikkokookoo__ and the password - all of that made me unable to recover my own profile.

After numerous emails to Instagram’s [protected]@mail.instagram.com with all the documents they needed, screenshots and even video-selfies all I received from them were automated replies telling to try again.

I do understand it because I am not an influencer or anyone making money out of or for Instagram - as a free user my requests to get hold of my own account with photos and videos (all of them copyrighted by me) back may go unnoticed. Yet I find it astonishing Instagram’s inability to answer and fix the problem.

I do feel this is a personal attack not only from the hacker but from Instagram staff too. I have all the documents and info they need to recover my account back to me and still they ignore my kind requests to help.

They blocked my account when I accidentally pressed the wrong button on their age verification page which had been nagging at me for the last few weeks.

I have used their Appeals page to have the account unblocked and provided them with a copy of my driving license, as they request.

I have heard nothing not even an email confirming the completion of the Appeals form. It's been a week now and I'm still blocked.

There is no further information about this in their Help Centre, no email form or phone number to help resolve the issue.

My complaint is Instagram mistakenly labeling photos I post as going against community standards.

For my own wellbeing and wellness, I have been UNfollowing accounts on Instagram, that I resonated with in the past. I no longer resonate with them. There are more accounts I want to NO LONGER follow, and the app is telling me that for "Security reasons I am not allowed to unfollow users". How would that fit within the Instagram mission of "capturing and sharing the world's moments"? I feel violated, frankly. I am questioning the values and integrity of Instagram, which was my chosen platform to share with the world.

My 15 son spoke with this guy via Instagram agreed to sell him a PS5 for 555.00 money was sent via venmo. he reached out to my son and told him he had promblems with the account could he send the money back and send it a different way. I said sure... he wanted the money sent before I received my funds and my venmo account. He would not send the PS5 photo shopped a screen shot to make us believe he turned the money. after speaking to venmo he sent to the wrong person and never refunded my money nor sent the PS5 soon after this he offered to send us his friend stimulus check UMM NO THANK YOU just send the PS5 he never responded. Because it was done through venmo I cant get the money back. He is out there constantly running this scam. I would like to see him charged.
