As a Canadian Armed forces member, I was trying to make a booking through the portal on Aug 13 for the dates of Aug 17-20 in Amsterdam, but was unsuccessful.

The price I saw online was stated as $683.05 CAD (including taxes and fees).

Upon the frustration of not being able to book online, I had called the number to make the reservation over the phone and spoke with a representative who mentioned that I would get a better deal as I am a member. She informed me that the total cost of the booking was $618. Only when I was told the booking was made was it that I saw it was made in USD and told the representative that this was not the currency I wanted to book with. In addition, it was WITHOUT taxes and feed that would be paid at the hotel (another $57.93 USD). She said it was a mistake and forwarded me to complaints and I have been calling every day since trying to get a refund because of their error but have been running in circles. Customer service has been escalating my complaint and I have yet to hear back before my supposed check in. There has been no help from any rep and it has been very shady since.

Hotel: Sotel Amsterdam Central Station

Itinerary Number: H7219399

Desired outcome: Please refund me the cost as the mistake was made by the Hotel Planner representative. I have tried to be patient but have heard nothing back with no follow up emails.
