Hostess Brands hostess donettes hot cocoa and marshmallow

I bought these at walmart in shelbyville kentucky. They are the hostess donettes hot cocoa and marshmallow individually wrapped packages of 3. The expiration date was December 9 2019 and there was an additional number on the package, G [protected]:00. The UPC 8 88109 11430 5. The first few packages I ate were good but one of the packages i recently opened and bit into and it tasted just like nail polish remover and it was not faint, it was very strong. I didnt want anyone to get poisoned by these especially a small child so I decided to write this complaint. Please look into this matter ASAP. Thank you

Hostess Brands hostess donettes-cinnamon sugar crunch mini donuts

New flavor of Donettes interested me, but when I tasted them was overwhelmed with the cinnamon coating and underwhelmed by the crunch. Batch # G 1016 24000 289 10:43. Are your products taste tested before release? Only introduction to this product was on shelf at Target Store. Please adjust the coating flavor and have customers review - "Less is More"

Hostess Brands stale powdered mini donuts.. again

It is 14 november... My wife bought some hostess donettes powdered mini donuts today.. I open the package and they were disappointing to look at.. Then I took a bite and it was stale.. Grabbed another one.. Stale... Realized all of the donuts are stale and hardly powdered.. I check the expiration date and it says "nov 27 2019 g092321000 266 22:48 d2"

What the hell hostess?!

Hostess Brands powdered donuts

I recently stopped into circle k this morning as I have every morning and bought a pack of your powered donuts after the first couple bites I could tell something was wrong. They were filled with mold at the end. I am completely disgusted and if allergic to the type of mold will hold y'all accountable of this. If you want pictures I can gladly provide those for you. Your salesman should stay on top of the product 24/7.

Hostess Brands donettes

I bought these at the gas station and I got to work and opened the bag and immediately put one in my mouth and recognized an odd foul odor and spit the donut out just as fast as I bit it because the taste was even worse than the smell. I cannot even describe the odor that this bag gave off. It was pretty gross. The donut itself couldn't even hold the crunch on it and majority of them were bare and hard as rocks with something gross all over them. I buy a large bag of these one to two time every WEEK. And I've never had them so foul in my life. It wasn't just stale, I can handle that. It was like a cross between stale, moldy, greasy but hard, life sucked out of every single one donut. I'm gonna buy some more after work. But I pray those haven't ruined it for me. I love them but my stomach is in knots over them right now. I'm not one to complain, usually I'd just throw them out. But whatever caused that needs to be addressed. That's how bad.

Hostess Brands 2 bags of hostess donettes

This is the third month in a row that I have bought Hostess Donuts they are so still so hard I can't eat them I bought two bags today .chocolate and powdered I am terminally ill and disabled and I don't get to go to the store but once a month I have no way to take them back just like I said this is the third month in a row they're not edible. Hostess Brands donettes

Just bought some powdered donettes on Nov. 3rd. Freshness date was Dec. 25th but donettes were dry and stale. Bought them from Meijer store in Eastgate/Cincinnati. Never had this happen before but after reading previous complaints it is not just the powdered but also the chocolate covered ones as well. Since this is a continuing problem I don't see myself buying anymore in the near future. And also will probably come up in conversations with co-workers.

Hostess Brands yellow cupcakes with chocolate icing

My Walmart has been out of these cupcakes for over 2 months now. I have asked the stockers working or customer service to check for me. They fly of the shelf so I don't understand why they would stop ordering them. I love this kind and it makes me really sad. I would have to make a special trip out of town to get them but gas costs to much for me to do that.I have tried other kinds you have or other brands but nothing is similar. Maybe you can get my Walmart to get them in for me.

Hostess Brands donettes

Hi. Lately, I bought Donettes chocolate; the have been so stale that it crumbled before I can remove them from the bag. I honestly don't think it's fair that I had to throw out 5 or 6 bags of my hard (cash) earnings. The dates are up to date, I don't understand what's going on. Can you please send me a fresh bag, at least 1 of the 5 or 6 that I had to throw out. Please- I have been craving and refuses to eat any other brand. Thank

Hostess Brands there is no filling in the chocolate twinkie

So I bought a box of chocolate Twinkies and when I opened it I was happy to bite into a delicious cream filled cake but there was nothing but cake and then I thought oh this is just one out of 10 I shrugged it off
so the next day I cut one open and to my surprise nothing, there was nothing in the cake probably just a little bit of filling but that was all

This is exactly what I was going to write about. HOSTESS, WHERE IS THE FILLING? THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO ABSOLUTELY NONE IN THE Chocolate Cake Twinkie ! I am very disappointed in this. I thought that the filling would at least be what it shows on the package. These used to have a good amount, but no more. Basically this is false advertisement on your packaging. I thought I would try one more box just in case it might be just this one, but after reading the comment before mine, I'm not so sure I want to.

Hostess Brands donettes

Purchased a bunch of Hostess snacks that were on sale, opened up a pack of the Donettes and it smelled like contact adhesive, had a strong chemical smell, took out the first donut in the pack and it smelled, took a bite and it tasted like chemicals, so I spit it out and threw out the donut, took the next one, seemed a little better, but it wasn't, threw the rest of that one out. I shouldn't have eaten any of it, it made me sick. I never buy donuts, I actually picked these up for my son, thank god he didn't eat them.
I couldn't find any new recalls for Hostess products, but I would like to know what chemicals I actually ingested.

I had the same thing happen with the jumbo chocolate donuts. I have also seen a number of other people with the same experience on this site. I would also like to know what it is that we ate. I was terribly sick from it.

Hostess Brands hostess jumbo donettes

Hi my name is Laura Hopkins, I am sending this email for two reason and first I want to thank you for all the amazing ... the cupcakes and devil dogs I think are #1... and you got the twinkies, snowballs, and ding dongs... they are amazing as well. With that in mind when I bought jumbo Donets I was in heaven. I eat wicked healthy but I have a sweet tooth that I have one day to enough one of them. So when I opened the box I smelt this horrible chemical smell... I thought maybe someone sprayed something and then I opened a donut... the smell was worst... I then broke off a piece and smelt it and my eyes and nose felt like fire... I checked the date on it to see maybe they were expired. Nope .. so then I just left on counter and asked my son to smell it maybe it was me... He then said no he said it's the donut mom and it smell like chemical and his eyes were burning also. I decided to finally email you to just inform you that this might need to be brought to your attention due to it was so random. I am truly sorry for the bad news for such an amazing company. I just purchased these scary cakes and the expiration date is Nov.7, 2019. The problem is I bit into one of these scary cakes and noticed that the side was moldy after I have already taken a bite. Hostess Brands hostess cupcakes

i just bought these at Walmart yesterday (10/13/19) best by Nov 16, 19 and I was so surprised when i open the package up and there was not any icing on the cup cakes, no choc or the squiggly line that are your signature. they were a pack of 2 for $1.89 you must have had a mechanical break down with your machines because normally I would buy these all the time for school lunches and have never had a problem. But if you could send me a coupon to get another package that would be great.

Hostess Brands crunch mini donuts

My boyfriend eats these everyday on his way to work and has been doing this for years. I bought a bag of them for us to enjoy over the weekend together and after he ate a few he said they tasted funny and also noticed that their shape was different as well.
I tried one to and thought they tasted funny as well. I'm not sure what it was but they just tasted off. As for the look they were really skinny and had a big hole in the middle usually u don't really see the hole in the middle.
The picture attached doesn't really show how weird they really looked.

Hostess Brands hostess mini 100 calorie pies

I purchased these pies thinking they would have cherry filling. Big surprise..I don't see how you can call that crap inside cherry is beyond me. They were, dry and the filling what ever it really was was awful. The remainder of the box was thrown out. After reading some of your complaints I was surprised. You use to have good products. but seems like quality has gone down the drain.

Hostess Brands ice devil's food zingers

I just bought a package of the devils food zingers and oped the package to find the frosting hard and crumbly and tasted extremely old. I buy these fairly often so I know this is not right. I purchased them at an m&h gas station and have never had an issue with them before. I did not look at the other packages to see if the whole box looked the same or not. Hostess Brands cupcake icing

I have been eating Hostess brand produsts since 1970. Grew up on the Twinkies,
Susy's Q's and the all time favorite Hostess cupcake. These 3 where a part of my brown bag school lunch. Always looked forward to enjoying that part of the school day. I noticed today after purchasing a box of the favorite Hostess cupcakes the icing had a taste of chemical. Hard to explain but different from that 1970's all time favorite. Loved the products but just concerned.
