HORRIBLE. Julio *** ran my credit twice! he took my SSN, id , taxes all of my personal information AND NEVER CALLED BACK. I don't know if they are stealing people's identity, WATCH OUT! and I don't know if I was even approved or denied, I need a formal document stating what happened with my application. This is WRONG!

Lurree P and her Murphy, NC team were extremely helpful and patient in guiding us through our recent home purchase process, no small feat! All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction and phone calls were returned promptly. We have already recommended them to a relative who is looking to purchase in the Murphy area.

I dont know about the other staff members of Homestar but I do know that you CAN'T go wrong if you have everything in order. So far everything Homestar has said and done has been legit. Ask for and work with ***, he won't sell you a rabbit hole!

This was my first home and I had no clue about what I needed to do. I reached out to Bill, through a family member, and he was awesome throughout the entire experience. He made it very easy to understand the process and made sure that it went smoothly. Communication was great and I am very pleased with the entire service. I highly recommend Bill Price for all of your loan needs. No complaints here.

Olivia, with the Rapid City SD office, was there with us from the beginning of the closing process. Anytime we needed her, including weekend and holidays, she was always a text away and responded in a very timely fashion. I could not have asked for a more professional attentive agent!

Homestar was an easy choice to make when it came to refinancing our home. Even though I researched and compared several mortgage companies, Homestar stood out as the best. The process is extremely organized and easy, especially with their online site. We found the team to be professional and extremely responsive. Sara Dearing was awesome to work with and incredibly helpful from beginning to end. We are very pleased.

Homestar Financial Fayetteville GA was a wonder to work with Retunda W. We were working with another lender, but they made errors on our paperwork and refused to change them. *** Mortgage admitted the errors were on their part , but said they would not change them. Retunda had all of our paperwork completed, and we closed on our new home within 3 WEEKS! If you have an opportunity to work with Retunda you cannot go wrong.

is the worst lender in this company I do believe. He has horrible communication and when he does answer the phone he's got an attitude. Half the time he wouldn't answer my phone calls but he would answer my wife hmm that's an interesting note. As long as you're a woman he will answer I find an issue with that and homestar should do something about that. Terrible lender. Don't worry though they do have good lenders and I'm going to leave a positive review for that particular lender.

Kali was the 1st person I spoke to at Homestar. She was very nice, and got back to me with all the info I needed to provide in a very timely manner. Taylor assisted me with any other questions I had, and Rae was my processor and guided me through the closing process with ease. The only issue I had was that the closing date got delayed, and i wasn't notified until I actually called the office myself. Other than that, everyone at Homestar made my purchasing experience very easy. I would recommend them to anyone!

I actually began my loan with another lender that happened to be highly regarded in their customer service and customer satisfaction reviews. My loan officer was Brandon ***. I left the other lender, because Brandon's level of customer service, availability and just overall commitment to seeing my family through the home buying process, far exceeded the other lender, and any and all expectations I could've had.
I would recommend Homestar to my friends, family, colleagues and associates. Brandon's commitment, communication and overall knowledge, combined with customer service just makes Homestar by far the best Lender that any buyer could ever want.

GA - Home star is the absolute worst ...If I can do it all over again I would've went with the other preferred lender the builder offered. They took a first time new construction home buying experience turned it up side down, spit on it, and ran it through the mud. First off they are very unresponsive; the lending and underwriting department to be specific. I would receive a request and submit documents a week later they would request the same document. For some reason time after time the figures on my lender disclosure would change every week. One week they would apply the lender credits the next week its no longer there. The next week they are adding points to the loan. This is a predatory practice, I would advise stay away or be on your peas and cues because these folks will definitely try to pull a fast one. STAY AWAY !

The office in NC I wouldn't recommend to a dog. My husband and I were recommended by our realtor to a Quentin ***. He made promises he did not keep we were honest and upfront. He promised to be able to get us in a home in 45 days well he didn't my family lived in a hotel for 4mts. The last communication with this company was in November we decided to find another lender and with ths same information we were able to close in 30 days. Now it's March and this Quentin just reached back out to ask if we were still going forward and when we told him we closed in January he responded "yeah ok" then proceeded to text our realtor that she was shady and so were we. There is so much more to this story. I called to file a computer with HFC and I have yet to hear back and before HFC say they disagree I have text and emails to prove the NC office strong us along for months!

Don't waste your time! I was pre-approved when I made less money! And worked less hrs! When I first started I shld have saw the signs! Loan agent didn't call/email me for abt a week then the nightmare started! After finding a home! Negotiating a great price! Appraisal-inspection fees the day b4 closing I was told - sorry we can't help u! What? I'm never dealing with Homestar Financial again! And to add salt to the wound I lost my earnest money! To which I was promised to they wld get my money back to me...I get ignored for a week or more! Only when I send an email to owner/and everyone I cld think of I get a response! I'm now left embarrassed and soured on an experience that shld have be life changing in a great way! To never wanting to do this again...Please research who ur choosing to do business with! Homestar is not the people's friend! I was warned and didn't listen!
