Home Warranty of America [HWA] review: Steer clear

Month #1 Received solicitations from HWA and chose them Paid $61.88 and never received anything acknowledging that I had a policy with them.

Month #2 HWA took another $61.88 from my bank account! Still no policy, acknowledgement or email indicating that I had a policy with them.

Called and requested a total refund of $123.76 as I had not received anything tangible in the way of communications or policy information. The customer service manager told me to "pound sand" and said that she would refund $61.88 but the initial charge was theirs to keep. Very rude and of no help whatsoever. Don't make my mistake, avoid this company at all costs!
