I found a beautiful wall hanging made from shells. It was the last one and parts of it were scraped. I decided to see if it could be marked down. When I went to the register I showed the clerk and she tried to clean it off and couldn't. She asked another employee what he thought and he took it to another clerk who was ringing someone else up and she loudly said "use your judgement, wait no, I don't see anything, I'm not marking off for that". This employees name was Karen and I had complained about her to my sister who I was with twice during this shopping trip because she was yelling at other employees about not doing things correctly. When we were in line I even told my sister that I hoped not to get the lady who was yelling when it was my turn to be rung up. I didn't, but she was now brought into my situation. I went back and forth with her while she was two registers down and continued to ring people up. I told her I wanted to speak with her boss because of the way she was yelling and she said you can wait ten minutes until Lisa comes back. I told her I couldn't because I had a broken foot and could not continue to stand. Then a fourth employee came in and looked at it. In addition to the scratches, there was a part along the edge that was completely cracked and broken so this employee gave me ten percent off. I go to homegoods all the time and I have never had a problem. Karen was not only rude to me and yelling at me, she was to her co workers also!

Very disgusted with Home Goods when they have 2 aisles of toys for children and 5 aisles or more of toys and things for animals. What is happening to this society and your store?. Would never come to your store again. nanipop@ptd.net

Visited the Store on Randall Road in St Charles, IL - Customer Service Rep rang up several pieces of Bathroom items (2 Soap dispensers, 2 cups, 2 tooth brush holders, 2 Q-tip holders, and 1 garbage can) approx 200.00 worth of items. After the CS rep finished ringing up the entire order, my wife questioned why one of the identical soap dispensers was marked 6.99 and the other was 16.99. She said can we get them both for 6.99. The CS Rep had to ask the manger (CHAD). The very arrogant manager (CHAD) said that it was marked wrong - no evidence of tampering but she needed to charge me the 16.99 price. I proceeded to get very loud and told him that I would pay the marked price and nothing more...especially after the order was already rang up and we called it to the CS Rep attention. CHAD said we had to pay the full price. I told him to shove the entire 200 order up his A@@! This is what you get when you give someone who does not know how to manage a little authority. The money is not the principle here...it is the lack of customer service and changing a price expecting you to say..Sure..okay I'll pay that! They better get a training package in place for the Junior wanna be managers! The way I see it they could not manager their way out of a paper bag with a flashlight and road map! Thanks CHAD for saving me 200.00!

I was treated like a criminal in the 15th Avenue, Plano location by their manager Cindy Woods. I was told that, that was her store and she did not have a manager. then when I dug deeper she decided to tell me her boss was in Oklahoma and she would only give me his first name. Franze.. I have been trying to reach this Franze person to let him know what kind of people his has working for him in Texas. She was one of the worste managers that I have ever encountered in my life. I was told that her cashiers did not make mistakes and people we are talking a difference of 16%. I was also told that she can see every transaction in her store. I am wondering why I have never seen her and I come to that store at least once a week. I hope they start hiring a better class of people. For such a classy -Christian store. What sorry crap they have for management. I have been in management for over 12 years. I have never treated in customer in the manor in which I was treated yesterday. I would have been fired if I would have, because the company that I work for knows that customer service is first. That is why we have soo many return customers. They better be careful. The new kids on the block will take over . That means when another store comes along with the same type of items and better customer service people will start taking thier business elsewhere. I know I will after the way CINDY WOODS OF THE HOBBY LOBBY AT 900A W 15TH ST, PLANO, TX-- THIS IS JUST SAD! AND STILL WAITING ON THE RETURN CALL FROM "FRANZE.. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! I will get in touch with someone and they will get an ear full. When a Manager thow their hand up in the air as to say "Oh Well" ., and still be employed by that company- it's sad.

I agree Home Goods should really look closely at their management. Exspecially one manager that I delt with personally. Her name was Cindy Woods and she was one of the worste Managers I ever personally encountered with any company. They have the worste representation of any store that I have seen. Maybe they should pay people a little more and get, better talent in the stores. This is a christian store and thier employees act like ###!
