My friend told me really bad story about Silverwood Log Homes. They have paid the deposit for the home. This company said to wait 6 weeks while they would prepare the house and all the documents. The plumber came to install it and noticed that there was the same amount of threads as on the previous one. He told me to change it and I emailed the seller. I purchased 11 triple pane windows from Dixie Homecrafters and 2 of them have completely messed up. They were expensive and the thought of paying to replace something that has a lifetime warranty is ridiculous. I am on a fixed income and not very happy about it. Inside the windows it looks as though something exploded and splattered all over it. Both are on the front of the house and really need to be replaced.
