This guy is a scammer.Hired him to finish my shower pan,fix wall of shower and proceded to replace my whole shower which was not needed.Good thing I stopped him inm time.He asked me for 6,500.00 dollars for materials and spent about 1,500.00 dollars for some cheap tiles vanity mirror vanity for which I was unable to use.Gave me no contract,no contractors license nor proof of materials he bought.Project was six months to complete.So he scam,ed me for 5,000 dollars if nt more.
Recommendation: Donot hire this guy.

I had Charly from Hilex Construction Inc come out in March 2022 to give me a quote. It was free, which was nice. I did sign a work order, but nothing has happened since then. They haven't started any work, and I haven't paid them anything. Now they're saying I owe them $38,000 for work that hasn't been done, and they're saying they don't do free quotes. But their website says they offer free 30-minute estimates, which is what I got.

It's frustrating to have to deal with these issues after already going through the stress of a burst pipe and filing an insurance claim. I would not recommend Hilex Construction for any future projects.
