Dude, I tried calling these guys but they never pick up or call back. And their website doesn't even have info on what issues you might run into. Ugh.
They did a bad job installing my solar panels
They did a bad job installing my solar panels. They didn't put any gaskets or seals around the studs they drilled into the roof rafters. Now water is leaking through the roof where they installed the studs. Hawaii Energy Connection is a bad company to work with. You should find a better company instead of them.

So, on April 13th a guy came to check my solar panels and water heater. About 2 weeks later I called them to see what's up. They said they'd put in a repair order to replace the panels. I called again about a month later and still waiting. On June 30th I called again and left a message. On July 1st a guy told me the person handling my problem is on vacation and will be back on July 6th and said he'd call me on July 7th. I got no call and I'm really frustrated. My solar panels still don't work. I think this company just wants your money and when something goes wrong they try to hide it. To the owner, I'm only writing this to the ComplaintsBoard.com for help since I'm not getting it from the employees of ***.

I had a problem with a micro-inverter and contacted Hawaii Energy Connection on 3/2/22. I called them again on 3/24 to report another faulty micro-inverter. On 4/20, I called to check the status of the micro-inverters and was told it was still pending. I called again on 5/18 and was informed that it was still pending and that they would contact the company. On 5/22, I received an email saying that it was approved and waiting for the parts. However, as of 8/16, I had not received any updates. I called on 8/17 and was told that the parts were in and someone would come out on the 17th or 18th to install them, but no one showed up or called. I left a message on 8/24 but did not receive a return call. I called again on 8/30 and left another message, but still no response. On 9/6, I called again and left a message, but was cut off when transferred to the Installation Manager and no one returned my call. It is now 9/13 and I still have not heard back from Hawaii Energy Connection. I am disappointed that I have to chase them for updates and follow-up information.
