I made a deal with HelloResolve to settle a $751 debt. I paid $356 as agreed, but they said it would show as a charge off for less on my credit report. However, the company I paid (Chase) didn't do what Resolve promised. They marked my payment, but I still owe $375. I wouldn't have paid if I knew the balance wouldn't be zero. It doesn't help my credit report.

I tried through Credit Sesame and *** to find where they got the info about this debt, but no one gave me any info or called me back. I complained to the Illinois *** about the company they're collecting for.
