Upromise Mixed Experiences with Upromise

As a potential customer considering Upromise, it's important to note the mixed experiences shared by users. While some customers appreciate the ease of earning cash back rewards and saving for educational goals, others have faced challenges. One reviewer highlighted the sudden deactivation of their account right before a transfer, leading to frustration and a lack of response from customer support. On the other hand, some users have found Upromise to be a valuable tool for saving towards college education, with positive feedback on the program's benefits. It's evident that Upromise offers opportunities for savings, but potential users should be cautious and aware of potential issues based on varying customer experiences.

Upromise For the most part I'm happy with Upromise

For the most part I'm happy with Upromise. It's a nice way to earn free cash back, even when you are redeeming a deal or coupon on the merchant site. You have to get used to it at first. Finding where to register your credit cards on the site isn't all that intuitive.
In my opinion Ebates is an easier experience, but I still like Upromise. If you link it to direct deposit into your SallieMae savings account they also provide a 10% annual match bonus.

I have been using this site for years. Between the rebates from using my Upromise credit card and rebates from retailers I have earned almost $4000 in my daughters college fund.

Upromise Upromise is a great way to get rewarded for your shopping

Upromise is a great way to get rewarded for your shopping. It gives you a % of what you spend back and has several retailers that participate. You can also link bonus cards from your local grocer or pharmacy. I have already received over $100 and I really don't do a lot of online shopping... you can also do surveys to earn money for free.

Upromise LOVE TO SAVE BUYING EVERYDAY ITEMS

Upromise is a rebate website. They have stores you shop from and you: get a percentage payback of what you spend. For example: Store A offers 5% payback, you get 5 dollars. AND if you open their credit card (mastercard) you most of the time receive another 5% payback. Easy math... 10 dollars payback. Small purchases add up. They offer ways to save for college with savings accounts that you can have them automatically transfer your paybacks to and earn interest. It is fun and they come through for you.

Upromise Upromise Review: Good Cash Back Site with Frustrating Challenges

So, from my experience with Upromise, they have been a pretty good cash back site...but there are definitely some challenges.

First and foremost, I have to say that I love the idea of earning cash back on purchases that I am already making. Who doesn't love the idea of getting paid for buying things we need or want? And Upromise definitely delivers on that front - there are tons of retailers and online shopping sites that offer cash back through Upromise, so it's easy to earn rewards just by doing your normal shopping.

That said, there are definitely some frustrations with Upromise's system. For starters, as others have mentioned, it can be really hit or miss whether or not your cash back will actually be tracked and deposited. In my experience, some retailers (like Ace Hardware and Walmart) have had no issues with tracking and depositing rewards, while others (like Marriott, Hotwire, and SportsmansGuide) have been a real headache.

The biggest problem is that it seems like Upromise relies on users to keep track of their own purchases and follow up if rewards aren't deposited. That means that you really have to stay on top of things and make sure that you're keeping detailed records of what you've bought and when, in case you need to contact Upromise for missing rewards.

Even when you do follow up, it can take a LONG time to get a response from Upromise - and sometimes even longer to actually get your rewards deposited. I've had experiences where it's taken months to sort out a cash back issue, which is frustrating when you're expecting to get paid out for something you've already spent money on.

All in all, I still use Upromise because I appreciate the concept and have had some good experiences with it. But I'm definitely not as enthusiastic about it as I used to be, and I feel like there are other cash back sites out there that may be more reliable.

That being said, if you're willing to put in some extra effort to keep track of your purchases and follow up with Upromise when needed, there's definitely potential to earn some decent rewards through the site. Just know that it's not always going to be a smooth process!

Upromise UPromise Customer Support - A Disappointing Experience

Been a UPromise member since the early 2000s and just signed up for their Barclay's MasterCard that's on the site. Had a couple of issues and had to contact customer support - first for a mixup with an email address and then for trouble linking the Barclaycard rewards with my UPromise account. When I called Barclaycard customer service, no surprise, they referred me to UPromise. And let me tell you, UPromise customer support is just horrible. There's no phone contact, so you have to go through tons of web pages to find a form and then engage in back-and-forth email responses. Most of the time, these email conversations never actually resolve your issue.

I've begged for someone to call me or for my issue to be escalated to a supervisor, but no dice. It's the worst experience ever. It makes me so disappointed because I've been with UPromise for so long, but now I'm thinking about canceling my card, deleting my account, and filing a complaint with the CFPB. It's just not worth the hassle.

Upromise Upromise Review: High Cash Back Rebate Percentages and Great Savings Opportunities

I have been using Upromise for almost a decade now, ever since I applied for a Upromise credit card back in 2011. I must say that I am quite pleased with the services that this site offers. As far as cash back rebate percentages go, Upromise is one of the best in the business. In fact, for the greater part of it, Upromise offers the highest cash back rebate percentage of 5%, which can be brought up to 10% (+5% when paid with a Upromise credit card) in some cases. This is much higher than what other similar sites have to offer, unless there is a special promo going on.

Every now and then, Upromise has special promotions on Tuesdays where you can get 10% cash back instead of the regular 5% on certain stores. This means a total cash back of 15%, which is just fantastic if you ask me.

While my experience with Upromise has been largely positive, there is one issue that I have had to deal with personally. After being logged in to my Upromise account for a while, I've noticed that if I idle for too long and don't submit an order, I am automatically logged out of my account. While I am not sure if this affects how Upromise tracks my purchases, I always make sure to log back in to my account right before placing an order with any particular site just to be safe. This is something that everyone should keep in mind to ensure that they receive their rebates without any hiccups.

Overall, I highly recommend Upromise to anyone who is looking to save a bit of money while shopping online. It is a user-friendly website that offers excellent cash back and rebate options on a variety of products and services. Don't miss out on the opportunity to save big while enjoying your favorite products and services!

Upromise Upromise Review: Earn Money Back on Your Online Shopping Purchases!

I recently discovered Upromise, an online shopping rewards program that allows you to earn money back on your purchases. It's been a great way to save some extra cash and I highly recommend it. One of the features I appreciate the most is the option to receive my earnings in my checking account once I have reached $10. This makes it easy to use my earnings right away instead of having them locked into a 529 account.

During Black Friday, I was able to take advantage of some amazing discounts and earn more than usual through Upromise. I have received my earnings as promised and haven't had any issues so far. One thing to note is that if you receive a special offer by email from a company, it's important to double check the final price if going through Upromise to ensure you're getting the same discount. However, this hasn't been a problem for most stores such as Kohls. Even though a store's Upromise % earnings may fluctuate, it's always clearly stated and some promotions are exceptional.

So far, I have earned $279 through Upromise and have received payment without any issues. I would have earned more if I remembered to log in through Upromise every time before making a purchase. It's easy to log in, but sometimes I forget about it.

Overall, I really like Upromise and the automatic transfer of my earnings to my checking account. It's a great way to save money on my online purchases without having to do much extra work. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy way to earn some extra cash while shopping online.

Upromise Upromise Review: Horrible Experience with Lost Money & Terrible Customer Service

So I tried to sign up for Upromise a few years ago and boy was it a mess. I couldn't even get my account linked up properly, which was a huge bummer. And to top it all off, my mother's attempts to transfer money to me were lost. Like, seriously? I mean, I'm no computer whiz or anything but I know my way around the internet. This website was just crappy beyond words. Needless to say, I threw in the towel and gave up.

Fast forward to five years later and I get an unexpected notification that I have money in my Upromise account that needs to be claimed or I'll lose it. Whaaat? So I go ahead and claim it, but not without some difficulty. I had to sit on the phone with a rep for ages just to make sure it went straight to paying off my student loans. But even after three whole months, the darn auto-sweep hadn't put anything into my loans. Can you believe that madness? I got so fed up that I decided to open a ticket. According to their website, I was supposed to get a response within two days. But guess what? It's now been two whole weeks and I haven't heard a peep from them. Ugh, talk about a letdown.

So I decided to give them a call, only to hear them tell me to wait until the third week of the month. Like, what does that even mean? They won't give me any insight as to what the problem is or who's handling my case. All I get is the same vague response that my ticket has been escalated and that they'll call me back when they have an answer. But when? They can't even give me an estimate. I mean, seriously, they're holding nearly $1000 of my hard-earned money hostage. That's so not cool.

And don't even get me started on the fact that none of the cards I registered with them have ever logged any rewards. What kind of scam is this, anyway? They even want me to give them my full name, address, and a personal security response over the phone. Um, no thanks.

Overall, my experience with Upromise has been nothing short of suspicious and frustrating. I don't recommend this service to anyone, unless they really want to waste their time and energy.

Upromise Disappointing Customer Service and Runaround with Upromise - A Frustrating Experience

I gotta say, I have been having some serious issues with Upromise lately. Like, it's really frustrating when a company won't address your complaints, ya know? I've been going back and forth with them for months now about this one issue and STILL haven't gotten any resolution. Like, what's the deal? They keep sending me these CIS incident reports and I feel like I'm getting the runaround.

So here's what happened: I bought this product from a merchant in China and it took FOREVER to arrive. When it finally did, it was defective and had the wrong cords attached. Plus, it was super cheap and not at all what was described in the listing. So I called to cancel and they told me I had to wait until it arrived to return it. But then when I tried to return it, they only offered me a $5 credit. Uh, no thanks. I wanted my money back. They finally agreed to let me return it, but then claimed that it was too expensive to ship back. So they offered me an $8 credit instead. Like, are you kidding me? I just want my money back!

To make matters worse, they actually charged me twice for the same item. And Upromise is telling me that the merchant did nothing wrong. Like, what the heck? Seriously, every time I call customer service, I'm on hold for hours and I can't even talk to a manager. It's so frustrating! And now they're saying that I have to wait 10-15 days for a manager to call me back. Like, what if I'm not even home? This is ridiculous.

And you know what really grinds my gears? They're running some kind of promotion right now and I made a comment about how unhappy I am with their service and they're asking for MORE info. Like, come on! You have all my comments and notes already. Can't you just address the problem already?

Overall, I'm just really disappointed with Upromise. Their customer service is seriously lacking and I'm not sure I'll continue using their service if they can't even address my complaints. It's a shame, really, because I used to really like their rewards program. But if they can't take care of their customers, what's the point?

Upromise Upromise Review: Frustration with New Policy and Website Issues Regarding Transfers to Savings Account

I've been using upromise for many years now, and it has been great for my youngest kid's college fund. It was so good that when my child graduated in the year 2013, I transferred my earnings to my grandchildren. However, the new program changed its policy, which required a savings account to be set up. Unfortunately, my grandkids didn't have a 529 savings account. So, my daughter set up a savings account, which I linked to my upromise account, and she requested the transfer of the significant number of dollars I had earned. However, the website is telling me that the transfer took place in December, but it hasn't been recorded in the savings account yet.

After struggling to register on the forum page, I finally managed to find a phone number. However, the new web page doesn't provide that information, which was frustrating. I had to call and talk to a representative who verified me through my email. He did try to help me in the beginning, but the transfer page search by date range was not working on my end, and he kept saying that his end was working fine, indicating operator error.

I expressed my disappointment in the new website and concern about future transfers being made. I primarily shop where I can get upromise funds for my grandchildren, and I am not a happy user at this time. I hope they will fix these issues, and I will be able to continue supporting my grandkids' futures.

Upromise Upromise Review: Frustrated and Disappointed by Restrictions and Exclusions for Cash Back

I recently decided to give Upromise a try to see if I could earn a little extra cash while doing my regular shopping. Unfortunately, my experience with this company left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

It seems nearly impossible to actually earn any cash back from Upromise due to the numerous restrictions and exclusions. For example, when I looked into cash back terms for shopping at Sams Club (which I joined specifically to save money on groceries and household items), I was shocked to find out that almost everything is excluded from earning cash back. This includes everything from computers and jewelry to candy and laundry supplies. Even items purchased through the mobile app are ineligible, which seems odd to me since that is becoming a popular way to shop.

I have to admit, I'm a bit confused about what I can actually buy to start earning cash back through Upromise. None of the items I normally purchase seem to be eligible, and I haven't been able to figure out what exactly is excluded. It's frustrating to think that I may have missed out on earning cash back simply because I wasn't aware of all the restrictions.

Overall, I would say that my experience with Upromise has been disappointing. While it may be possible to earn some cash back through the platform, the numerous restrictions make it seem unlikely. I would definitely recommend doing your research and reading all the fine print before joining and starting to shop with Upromise, or you might end up feeling as frustrated as I did.

Upromise Upromise Review: Frustrating Cash Out Process and Unethical Practices!

Been using Upromise for years now and I gotta say, the first few times I cashed out my funds, it was pretty smooth sailing. However, as time went by, it became a harder and harder process. Last time around, I tried to cash out, and they told me that the sponsor hasn't transferred the funds yet, even though the funds were already showing as pending, which didn't make any sense to me. If the sponsor hadn't paid Upromise, then it shouldn't have been showing up as pending in the first place, right?

Recently, I tried cashing out once again, but the funds are still stuck in the pending phase. So, I wrote to them, reminding them that they have to stay in communication with their sponsors, who are their affiliates and also with their customers like me. Customer service is essential!

They finally replied back that the funds will be available in about three more weeks which, to be honest, made me roll my eyes a bit. I mean, come on, I've been more than patient already. I replied back to them suggesting to work with their affiliates to set an agreed-upon time frame to quote to users upon cashing. This would clear up a lot of confusion when it comes to waiting on pending funds.

Honestly, I know that Upromise gets paid for connecting you with their advertisers, who then offer you cash back for shopping on their site or physical stores with prior agreements with Upromise. These affiliates make money by overcharging you, giving you cash back, and sending a portion of that back to Upromise. This is where Upromise collects your money and holds it in an account for as long as possible, gaining interest while they're at it.

When it's time for you to cash out, they hold on to those funds as long as possible, slowly draining interest from your money. It's a bit of a scam, if you ask me. And as the economy gets worse, companies like Upromise are struggling to stay afloat. They continue to engage in unethical practices because all they can think about is their own greed.

However, I do want my funds, so I'll play their game a bit longer. I just hope that I receive interest on my cash out as well. They got their turn to make money off of me. It's just fair that I get my share too.

Upromise Beware of Upromise Credit Card: Late Fees and Poor Customer Service

March 1, 2019

Hey folks, if you're trying to team up with Upromise Credit Card, listen up to my tale of woe:

I was just minding my own business and had no clue I had a statement with Upromise Credit Card for Uber that was due way back on October 28, 2017. No email, no snail mail, nothing. Zip. Nada. I would have never known about it if it weren't for Chase Credit Check, which I'm hooked up with right now. It took me two freakin' hours on the phone with five different reps who shunted me around to three or four different departments, all to try and sort this out on February 28, 2019. I talked to these reps for about 30 minutes, then sat on hold for a whopping hour and a half. By 6 pm, the claim department had closed up shop and told me to come back tomorrow. Today, March 1, 2018, I called again and talked to Anna, supervisor, employee number 28638. She says there's nothing she can do because of Brclybankde regulations, and I should write in a dispute with the Credit Bureau. The $7.17 balance has now grown to around $215, thanks to all the late fees. Because I had no idea about the statement or that I even had an account with these folks in the first place, I ain't coughing up any dough for those late fees. Upromise closed my account for being "Derogatory." What the heck kind of business are they running, anyway? No contact from them, and they're hitting me with all these extra charges? Now my credit score is in the toilet, thanks to something I didn't even know about. They snatched my credit card away, so now I'm really up the creek without a paddle.

Seriously, folks, stay away from Upromise if you're looking for hassle-free business.

Upromise Upromise messed up my credit score

March 1,2019

If you're considering partner up with Upromise credit card, you should read my review:

I was unaware I have a statement with Upromise Credit Card for Uber on October 28,2017, for $7.17. I did not receive a statement in my email or in the mail about this the amount or aware that I have a statement with Upromise/ Brclybankde credit card. The only reason how I would find out about this statement is through my Chase Credit Check that I am now currently partnering up with. I spent two hours on the phone, with 5 different representatives, got pass through 3 or 4 different departments tried to get this settle on February 28,2019. Talked to all the representatives about 30 minutes of those two hours and was on hold for about one hour and thirty minutes. By 6 PM the department that I was supposed to, the claim department, is now closed and Upromise asked me to call back tomorrow. I also spent another hour today (March 1,2018), talking to Anna, one of the supervisors, with the employee number *** and she has told me to write in a dispute with the Credit Bureau because her hands were tied to Brclybankde regulations. This $7.17 has now accumulated to about $215 because of all of the late fees. Since I was unaware of the statement or known about it in the first place and has to go to one of Upromise competitors credit check to find out that I have a negative balance, I am refused to pay the accumulated late fees that I have on my statement. Upromise has close this credit card because of "Derogatory," I'm shocked how Upromise business operate by this because there was no contact from Upromise and me getting trying this settle. Because of this problem my credit score has been very bad from a statement I was unaware of. Now, I don't have the card in my possession anymore.

Upromise had messed up my credit score because they fail to tell me about the negative balance. I receive zero communication from Upromise from which they claim they have tried to contact me with zero proves. If you're looking for a better business operation I would say go somewhere off, save yourself the time and headache.

Upromise Zero Stars Should Be An Option

I won't go into all of the annoying details, but what everyone is saying on this site is correct. I have yet to even get a response from anyone, let alone speak to a person. I have also not seen any of the money that has been going into this account for almost 2 decades. If you haven't signed up for this yet... don't. But since you are here it is probably too late. Sorry.

If they ever get back to me or rectify this situation, I will update this review.

UPDATE... Moments after I posted this review, I got a reply back to a facebook private message I sent to UPromise. No results back yet, but that is the first time someone has acknowledged my existence.

08-22-22 - I immediately replied to the facebook message referenced above and they never responded to me again after that. I then got an email saying that my email address was not correct and they asked me for another address, which I sent them immediately. Then two days later they told me that it might take 45 days to transfer the money. If it has not transferred after 45 days I get the privilege of trying to contact them again. Shortly after that response they sent me a survey asking how they did. Zero was an option, so that is what they got.

09-19-22 - I waited my 45 days and to no surprise the money did not transfer into my 529. I started contacting UPromise again and got brushed off a couple of times, but today got a response. Unfortunately, the response is just as bad. Apparently my transfer resulted in "a paper check payment and it is still pending." They are now "working on getting the funds returned back to your UPromise account. This process can take 30 days to complete." However, I don't want the money back in my UPromise account, just to have to go through this all over again! I have asked them to cut me a check directly and I will deposit it. You would think that a company that does this for a business could get this figured out.

10-31-22 - UPromise has not delivered still. I continue to contact them through any possible method and they are still ignoring me.

12-06-22 - I am now 5 months into this ordeal with UPromise. Yesterday they said they made a transfer of all of the money in my UPromise account into my savings account. I looked this morning and the money has NOT shown up in my account. I have already followed up to let them know this, but I am sure I will get the same answer as I always do which is..."It may take 5 - 7 days for the money to transfer and in some instances up to 45 days for the money to transfer." In this day and age it does not take anywhere near that amount of time to transfer money. They could write me a check and walk it to my door faster than 45 days. In my opinion it is just the next delay that they use to keep your money and hope you will give up and forget about it. I am not giving up.

Upromise Issues with Upromise Website - Locked Out of Account & No Support

Been a member of Upromise since 2000 and my experience with them was something I was satisfied with until recently. I found myself locked out of my account and unable to do my shopping on their website. This was a great shocker for me because I relied heavily on their cashback program to save up some dollars. Upon sending emails to them with regards to the issue, all I received was some long email aimed at directing me to enable cookies on my computer. I mean, come on, that was not the problem and I know that for sure. It's either their support team is unaware of what is going on with their site or they refuse to acknowledge the problem altogether. Worse still, my family and friends seem to be experiencing the very same problem.

Every time I try logging in, my screen goes haywire with the message that my email and password don't match. I have made several attempts to change my password, yet I still get the same baseless message. I simply cannot access my account and enjoy the benefits that come with it anymore. Looking back, it seems to be a matter of fact that there is a problem with the Upromise website.

I sincerely hope that Upromise can address this issue sooner than later because I am not the only one experiencing this problem. I hope that they resolve the matter in a way that will not only restore my faith in their service but also that of other Payback plan members.

Upromise Upromise Review: A Great Way to Earn Cashbacks, but Frustrating Customer Service Experience

I been a member of Upromise for quite some time. They give you cashbacks for things you and your family already buy. I love how I can earn money in a few different ways - like online shopping or buying gas. It's great to see the balance build up over time. I didn't do anything with the money for a while, just let it sit there. But then I decided to transfer it to my bank account. I followed all the steps Upromise asked me to do to make it happen. Unfortunately, the transfer didn't go through when it was supposed to. I was frustrated because I needed the money for an upcoming expense. I contacted Upromise but didn't hear back from them right away. When they finally reached me, they said they were investigating what happened. I appreciate they are looking into it, but what about my money? They just said to wait until next month to try again. In today's world, we are used to immediate transfers and payments with just a click of a button. It feels like Upromise is holding my funds as long as they can. It's not a satisfying experience. It makes me question if they are legit or not. It's a shame because the idea of earning money while shopping is great, but if I can't access it easily, what's the point? I would like to see some improvements in their customer service and a quicker resolution to issues like this.

Upromise Disappointing Experience with Upromise - Don't Waste Your Time

I gotta say, I'm not too happy with Upromise. I heard they were supposed to give me $25.00 for referring some friends, but I never saw that money. And get this - my mother-in-law, who is pushing 100, and my parents - both in their 80s - had multiple accounts. But Upromise went ahead and closed those accounts, and then kept the money! They claimed it was because I didn't have any affidavits or the like from them... but seriously, how am I supposed to get those when they're challenged at their age? It seems like they just don't care. And let me tell you, when I ask them questions, they can come off pretty darn rude sometimes. I don't think it's worth it to stick with Upromise. If you're looking to save money and build up your stash, I'd recommend trying out some other sites instead.

Upromise Upromise Review: Customer Service and Account Issues - Avoid this Company!

I had a really bad experience with Upromise. My account was closed by Bank of America for no reason, and I lost all of my Upromise points. This was really frustrating because I had been with the company for over 17 years and it was my longest standing account. Plus, it really hurt my credit score. I was told that I had to open another account to continue with Upromise, which would have further hurt my credit score.

When this happened with other cards, the companies reinstated my account right away. But for some reason, Upromise didn't do the same. It's really disappointing to see such poor customer service, and I'm not sure what the problem is with this company.

Finally, I received my Upromise money. But when I deposited the check, it bounced! I ended up having to pay another fee on top of everything else. It just feels like everything went wrong with Upromise.

Overall, I would strongly advise against using this company. They seem to have a lot of problems, and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Save yourself the time and trouble and find another option.

Upromise Struggling to Access My Upromise Account for Weeks - Frustration and $1700 at Stake

I gotta say, I was a regular user of Upromise back in the day, and it was a pretty sweet gig. But now, I'm having one heck of a time trying to access my account. I've been trying to reset my password for what feels like eternity, but I just can't seem to break through. Despite sending six whole emails and filling out their online form three times, I'm still stuck in the same place.

I've been going at this for the last three weeks, and let me tell you, it's not been a happy camper experience. I did finally get one email in response to all my fussing about not being able to get into my account. But it was just asking for more information, and nothing ever came after that.

What's truly got my goat, though, is that when they did manage to get a hold of me, they told me I had $1700 sitting in my account. And if I didn't access it soon, they'd just turn it all over to my state. I mean, come on, I'm not looking to hand over all that sweet moolah!

I've been using the same email address since, like, forever, so I can't imagine why I can't get in. It's been three whole weeks, and I'm still not making any headway. But even though I'm at my wit's end, I'm not giving up just yet. Gonna keep trying till something gives.

Upromise Upromise Review: 17 Years, Almost $10, and 19 Cents Short - Customer Service's a BUM!

Yo, check it, I can tell you all about Upromise. I've been chillin' with these folks for 17 years, can you believe that? Crazy, right? Honestly, I kinda forgot about 'em until I looked at my account and saw that I had almost 10 bucks in there. Not too shabby for just using my shopper cards.

But here's the kicker, when I tried to cash out, I found out that the minimum to cash out on the site is 10 bucks. And I was 19 cents short. Freakin' ridiculous, right? So I hit up customer service to ask for a little help, I mean come on, it's not like I'm asking for a million bucks or anything. But they straight up denied me! What a bunch of bums.

Now, I gotta link some more cards and hope I can earn that 19 cents in a few months. Honestly, they could have helped a brother out and just sent me that check. But nope, they gotta be difficult.

Overall, Upromise can be aight, I guess. But don't expect them to do any favors for you, even if you've been with 'em for almost two decades.

Upromise Upromise Rewards: Missing or Misplaced? Frustrating Experience with Customer Service

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Upromise. I've been shopping with them for a while now and everything was going well, until I started noticing that some of my rewards were disappearing. Like, I would make a purchase and see the reward show up on my account, but then a few weeks later, it would be gone. It happened seven times with this one food vendor and I had all the receipts and order history to prove it. But when I contacted customer service, they gave me some generic response about how it must have been because of returns or coupons. But I knew that wasn't the case because I had all the evidence to prove it. It's frustrating because they won't even acknowledge that there might be a problem on their end. Honestly, at this point, it's just not worth the effort.

Upromise Upromise Review: Terrible Customer Service and Endless Hold Music Will Drive You Insane

Yo, listen up everyone! Let me tell you about my experience with Upromise. I gotta say, their "customer service" line is practically non-existent. I mean, I've tried calling them so many times, but no one ever picks up. And when I do manage to get through, I'm put on hold for hours on end. Like, for real, today I was on hold for a record 2 hours and 22 minutes before the line just dropped. Can you believe that?

But I'm not one to give up so easily, so I called back. And guess what? I'm still waiting on the line right now, at 32 minutes and counting. Honestly, at this point I don't even know if the customer service line is real or just some kind of urban legend. I mean, I just want to get my hard-earned money for my fourth child's college education. Is that too much to ask?

Don't get me wrong, I've used Upromise for my other kids and it's been okay. But this whole customer service debacle is really making me second guess my choice. And don't even get me started on the hold music. Smooth jazz? Really? And don't even get me started on the same stupid recorded message that plays over and over again. It's like they're rubbing it in our faces that they've got our money and there's nothing we can do about it.

So, in conclusion, my advice to you is to think twice before getting a Upromise card. Unless you're into masochism and enjoy being put on hold for hours on end, I'd say just steer clear. There are plenty of other options out there that don't involve losing your mind while listening to elevator music. Thank me later.

Upromise Terrible Customer Service: My Frustrating Experience with Upromise

It's been almost a week since I was last able to access my Upromise account and it's been quite the headache! I haven't changed my password in quite some time, actually, I keep all of my passwords carefully stored in an app. I've reset my password several times, but I just keep coming up against a deactivated account. I've tried calling their customer service line four times now, but I always end up getting disconnected after holding for ages which is really frustrating! I even went the extra mile and sent an email to their Support department, but they didn't actually end up responding to either of the two emails that I sent. I was sent a password reset link, but it didn't even work - it just looped me back to the sign in page. I've never had such an abysmal experience with a company's customer service before, it's like they really don't care about their customers at all! If I had the option, I would definitely rate Upromise with zero stars. It's been a terrible experience.

Upromise Upromise Rewards Program Falls Short on Customer Service & Promises

I must say, I have had a rather disappointing experience with Upromise. Their customer service is simply the worst I've ever come across. Despite making several purchases and expecting rewards to be credited to my student loan or Barclay's Card, I have yet to see any sign of them. It's frustrating to see them displayed on the Upromise website, but not be able to claim them. It's almost like the lyrics of an Eagle's song. You can check out any time you want but you can never leave.

I have tried contacting both Upromise and Barclay's Card sites, but it's a game of ping-pong with no one seeming to be able to help. You are just bopped back and forth with no information given. It is impossible to reach a human and get the assistance you need, which only adds to the frustration. In the end, I didn't receive any rewards for my purchases.

I think it is essential for any company to provide quality customer service and follow through on their promises. Memories of a poor experience will stick with customers and drive them away. Unfortunately, this is my feeling about Upromise. While they may offer pretty charts and graphs detailing rewards, it's only fair to come through on their end and actually deliver them. A happy customer is a loyal one, and it's essential for companies to remember that.
