Hedlund Plumbing Company

I think Hedlund plumbing does an amazin job. They were the only plumbers that would actually come out and bid a job for me. Tried two other places and no response. The work was done with great pride. Will call them again for all my plumbing projects.

Hedlund Plumbing Company ain't what it used to be, no longer a family-run gig. They'll just pass you along to their so-called "sister company" called Service Professor. Now, here's the thing: I had some root issues in my sewer line, but Hedlund completely missed 'em. And get this, three whole months later, they're telling me I gotta fork out a whopping $18k to replace the whole dang line! Talk about a rip-off! Save yourself the trouble of dealing with their shady tactics and pushy technicians who only care about selling you the priciest stuff. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to handle your plumbing needs.

We called Hedlund Plumbing to change old pipes in the crawl area under our house. They said they could do the job well and replace all the galvanized pipes. But when they started, they said they could only do 2/3 of the area because it was hard to reach, which they should have figured out before. Two months later, the pipes burst! We had to get more help to dry the area, and then Hedlund came back twice to fix the pipes and charged us both times! This week, we had another leak! When one of us checked the crawl area, we saw that Hedlund hadn't replaced all the pipes they said they did! So we kept having problems. We got help from another company to finish the necessary work! We didn't need to spend more money! I don't recommend Hedlund Plumbing to anyone because they didn't even give a warranty for their work. Where does honesty and integrity fit in their professional scale?

Hedlund Plumbing Company did the plumbing work at my place, which was covered by insurance. The cost turned out to be lower than expected. However, things took a turn when COVID hit, and they suddenly demanded an additional $2000, months after completing the job.

Hedlund has a habit of overestimating to avoid customer complaints, and they made that clear. When they finished the work, I asked if everything was done and if there were any extra charges. They assured me there were none. I specifically mentioned that if the cost difference was reasonable, I wanted them to install the bathroom shower/tub/surround. They agreed, and the work was done accordingly.

Then, out of the blue, months later, when COVID-19 caused a state shutdown, Hedlund sent me an email claiming that I owed them over $2000 for work I didn't even request. They asked me to fill out an order form matching the insurance estimate amount. We exchanged several emails discussing the matter, and eventually, they reduced the amount to match the original estimate.

We continued to email back and forth because Tom Hedlund's son had assured us that all charges were settled when we arranged for the tub/surround installation. It seems like an internal issue within Hedlund's company. We were very clear about our intentions for the bathroom project. I find it highly suspicious that just two days after the state shutdown, they suddenly demanded an additional $2000, right after I had already paid my bill to Hedlund.
