Having stayed at approximately 50 Hampton Inns and Hiltons around the world this was the worst run I've ever seen and will NEVER, EVER, RETURN. Point in fact I challenged the "100% guarantee". My general impression is the staff is very young. Most seem to be college age and no one appeared to be past age 23 years-old. What this means is the staff has no experience as a hotel guest and therefore have no perspective on customer needs. It seemed to be run by the local college as an business training course. Here are some specifics: * We were refused our room choice requested (top floor), instead put in the room across from the pool and subjected to mega noise from the above room (complained to front desk). * Hotel staff didn't make up our room until after 3:00 PM. * Cheaply built, poor sound proofing, noise from room above. * They neglected to provide standard Express Checkout with a statement under our door. * Hotel shows no loyalty to Hilton Honors loyalty members. * Statement incorrectly shows Hilton Honors points for one (1) room while we had two (2) rooms. * Staff emails continually attempted to "handle me" via corporate PR. * General Manager (Lauri Bumann) sent needlessly, personally offensive, unsolicited email to personally attack me. READ CAREFULLY BECAUSE THIS MAY BE ILLEGAL - The hotel attempted to charge our visa BEFORE our 4:00 PM check-in, at 9:00 AM that morning, via something they called "pre-arrival authorization" which I was NOT informed of nor did I agree to, nor have I encountered at any other hotel. This is legality questionable and I will follow up with the Colorado Attorney General, so watch your wallet. Avoid this place like a plague and take ANY reviews lacking substantive specifics needed for credibility with a grain of salt.
