I had a really bad experience with Great Value Vacations. They totally scammed me and I wouldn't recommend doing business with them. They're all about making money and don't care about their customers at all. Once they have your money, they don't even bother with customer service. They even told me to travel when the CDC said not to. It's just not worth the hassle. You should definitely go with a more trustworthy company.

Terrible Experience with Great Value Vacations: Lost $4200 Due to Covid Cancellation
My experience with Great Value Vacations was not good at all. I booked a trip before covid and unfortunately, the trip was cancelled due to covid. We were told that we had to rebook before a certain date or we would lose our money. We tried to rebook but we still couldn't leave the country during the second date. Great Value Vacations did nothing to help us out. We had travel insurance so we cancelled and made a claim. However, we were told that we had to be dead to get our money back. This was very disappointing and unprofessional. We lost $4200 and Great Value Vacations did not back us up. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Great Value Vacations. I was all excited to book a trip to Indonesia, and I even paid extra to have flights with fewer stops and less time at the airport. But when I got my itinerary, I saw that the flight they advertised as having only one stop actually had two! I was so mad, because that's exactly what I was trying to avoid by paying extra.
So I called them up to complain and ask for a refund or a different flight. They promised to call me back, but they never did. I kept calling them for two whole weeks, and every time they said they were still looking into it. Finally, they told me there were no other flights available. I asked to cancel the trip, but they said it was too late because I was outside the free cancellation window. I couldn't believe it! They had dragged it out for so long that I missed my chance to cancel for free.
I started to wonder what else they were lying about. Would my trip even happen? Every time I called, they promised someone would call me back, but no one ever did. And the last representative I talked to was so rude, she just hung up on me!
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Great Value Vacations to anyone. Save yourself the headache and book your vacation somewhere else.
