Placed my first order. Specifically chose 2 lbs ground beef as the "free item." Also chose bacon as an extra add-on to the initial six items for an additional cost of $7.99. When the confirmation email came through, the receipt merely refers to one of three choices (including ground beef) as the free item. The receipt did not reference my 7th item (bacon) which or the charge of $7.99. Fine, at least the receipt didn't show the charge. My credit was charged for the initial box fee minus the bacon add-on. The next day, my credit card was charged the additional $7.99 for the bacon after all, although no email receipt was sent documenting this charge for the bacon add-on. When the box of items arrived, the order was missing the "free" 2lbs of ground beef. At least the bacon that I paid extra for was there. One final note, the final item on the packing list referenced an "insert" of a free box for my friends! Are they kidding? Do they really think a cardboard box and packing material is something I'm going to race out to gift to a friend? Or that my friend would be so thrilled with this gift from Good Chop they'll sign up themselves? Called Customer Service about the missing 2 lbs of ground beef and Agent "Liz" tried to blame me for their initial receipt not specifically listing that I chose ground beef and said I had to add that manually. I did choose it "manually" when I placed my order, just like I "manually" selected the bacon add-on. The receipt merely references the three "free" items to choose from, but it is still referenced on the receipt. Somehow, Good Chop figured out how to include the bacon and charge me $7.99 separately for the it without it being on the receipt, yet couldn't figure out to include the 2 lbs of beef I chose which WAS referenced as being included. Poor service all the way around and a joke of a "free" cardboard box. I am quite certain that "free" box is included the overall pricing.

Recommendation: Don't bother unless you like incomplete orders and condescending Customer Service
