Gold Label Co. is a company run by Dae Carter, who I believe to be a scam artist. It seems like she takes money from her customers and uses it to fill up her showroom in Houston, Texas, without ever sending out the wigs they ordered. Not only are her wigs terrible, but her customer service is also lacking.

Gold Label Co. (goldlabelco.com) is a company that I recently had an experience with, and let me tell you, it wasn't the best. I tried reaching out to them through phone calls and emails, but guess what? They didn't bother to answer any of them. It's like they were playing hide and seek with me, but I wasn't having any fun.

I bought 2 wigs from Gold Label Co. website for a whopping $1000 in June, but I still haven't received my order. I should've been more careful when I messaged them multiple times on their site to inquire about the wigs, their style, and the quality of the hair. Surprisingly, I didn't get any response, even though their website and Instagram specifically mention using this method to ask questions about their products and orders. I've tried emailing them several times since then, but I haven't received any response either. Now, I'm resorting to contacting my credit card company to seek a refund.

Interestingly, a friend of mine also had an experience with Gold Label Co. She ordered the pink Star wig for a hefty $675, and after waiting for 2 months, she did receive it. However, it was nothing like what was pictured on the website, and the hair quality was disappointingly low. They claim that shipping takes 7-10 business days on their business page, but when I talked to customer service today, they told me I have to wait 10-15 business days. Can you believe that? It's like they can't even get their own shipping times straight.

And let me tell you, the customer service is a joke. I politely asked for a refund because of the delay and what does the lady do? She goes and posts some shady video on her business page, indirectly throwing shade at me. How unprofessional is that? But it doesn't end there. This company is all about deleting comments and blocking people who dare to be honest about their experiences. She claims to sell wigs, but these wigs never ship, or at least in my case, it didn't. She was rude and unprofessional when I mentioned that if my wig hadn't been shipped by September 11, 2020 (after ordering on August 7, 2020), I would sadly have to cancel the order and get a refund. She never mentioned anything about a refund, so I went straight to my bank and filed a claim. She thinks she's safe from criticism because she manages all her reviews on her online page or Instagram. She lacks customer service skills, and it's disgusting for someone like me, an honest veteran, to see her calling herself a veteran. Most likely, she's drop shipping from China without informing customers, which is why the wigs take over a month. I purchased my wig on August 7, 2020, and as of September 13, 2020, I still haven't received a positive tracking status from USPS. She also blames COVID for USPS taking so long to ship, but in reality, the wig is never handed over to USPS.

UPDATE: On September 14, 2020, she finally shipped the package after my husband and I told her we wanted to cancel the order. We refused the shipment so that USPS could send it back to her. Customer service matters! I refuse to shop with rude, arrogant, unprofessional people from any business. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Update September 26, 2020: The unprofessional person just emailed my husband and said she won't give me a refund because USPS held the package I refused at their office. Like I said, she's drop shipping and not a wholesale buyer. She doesn't want to take the loss for the wig she purchased and took forever to send. As you can see from the pictures, USPS apologized for holding the package after I refused it. Smh, whatever you do, DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS lady.

So, I was checking out Gold Label Co. (goldlabelco.com) and I gotta say, after seeing all those awesome reviews and pictures, I was convinced to give it a shot and buy myself a wig called Dana. Let me tell you, the lace on this thing is rough and itchy. It's like wearing sandpaper on your head, you know? I mean, I guess I shouldn't have expected much from a wig that's on the cheaper side, but man, this thing is straight-up garbage!
