I placed an order with on May, 1st 2010. I have given this company tons of business as I work for JET Magazine and have referred many people. I took notice that every time I would place an order (every other month for the last year) afterward the company would send me a coupon for money off. The coupon would be available for use right away and would expire always a month later. This would frustrate me as I would have preferred to have had the coupon at the time of my initial purchase and the following month the coupon would be of no good to me. After placing my $90 order on May 1st. Without fail 3 hours later a coupon for money off toward a purchase of $50 or more was forwarded to my email from According to the date on the coupon was available for use right away. I immediately emailed their customer service department, requesting that the coupon be applied toward the purchased I had just made no more than 3 hours ago. I was beyond shocked when the Customer Service Manager Jackie Donnahue responded to my email in a cold-less than friendly manner. Stating this "could not be done as the order had already been processed". There were no attempts made to satisfy me as a customer or apologies. I responded that I'd like to cancel the order although Jackie Donnahue responded belittling me by stating that "I was unethical as there "cancellation policy" clearly listed on the website states there will be no cancellation on any orders". I was floored at the terrible the customer service and to think I had given so much of my hard earned money as well as referrals to this company. I responded that I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau however this didn't seem to phase Jackie Donnahue in the least in fact she continued to insult my intelligence by sending 4 more emails in which she stated "that if I felt really really badly about the discount of $5 I missed out on that they'd be more than happy to send my another coupon for my future orders"! In addition she made sure to let me know that the owner of the company wouldn't be available to hear my complaint and the CFO was out traveling. I have since decided to file complaints regarding this company with several websites and was shocked to find more complaints about them on-line about their rude behavior. I have succeeded in getting the word out and will continue to warn people to shop elsewhere. There's a recession going on but it seems has more business than they need. As they don't seem to care how rude they are to customers which is the glue that holds their company together!
