I received a gift rocket gift card for $75. I have tried unsuccessfully over 50 times to redeem the gift card on the gift rocket website and keep getting an error message saying redemption attempt failed. I have now contacted the email provided on the gift card multiple times in attempt to get this resolved. I keep getting automated responses but no one has reached out to resolve the issue. Gift Rocket is clearly a scam. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTIKNG FROM THIS COMPANY. COMPLETE BS!

This service is terrible. I ordered a card for a friend and they cancelled the transaction the next day with no explanation. I called and of course nobody answers but they said they will call back. They called back and said we can't tell you why it was cancelled. WHAT! Now I'm worried about my credit card info being used for the wrong reason. It was a very sketchy conversation. No supervisor available to speak with because the person said they were in a secure room since they were security. I cancelled my credit card for fear of something crazy. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANY - they were rude and very unhelpful.

I was sent a gift of $150 8 days ago. I have been trying to retrieve the gift for over1 week. Matt, of Gift Rocket, keeps emailing "it takes 4 or 5 business days" for the money to be deposited into my acct. I am at my wits end.

Matt stated on 4/28 he will escalate the matter to his supervisor. Why is it taking so long. You are holding my money and that seems unprofessional.

I ordered a gift certificate for my friend, Mike Berns last December, 2022.

He has tried to redeem this card many times only to be unsuccessful. He finally returned the gift card to me and told contact you for a full refund.

1. I'm disappointed that this is so hard to accomplish.

2. My friend Mike is fighting Cancer and doesn't have the patience to pursue this

3. I would like to understand the procedure to get a refund.

December 24, 2022 GiftRocket took $107.00 from my account for a gift card for a family member. When the gift card card was attempted to be used, but instead a message was received that the card was canceled? Here is the text received from Matt (GiftRocket) Apr 14, 2023:

Unfortunately, our records indicate that your gift has been cancelled. That being said, a full refund is on the way is on the buyer's original method of payment. If your gift happened to be cancelled before the pending transaction settled, the charge will simply fall off of their statement and there will be no refund process as the funds were never withdrawn. from Matt Customer Support.

This is a bunch of double talk, $107.00 was taken out of my account for a $100.00 gift card. I have not received any funds from GiftRocket. I want ALL my money back the sooner the better.

I placed 2 orders and sent them to a client, and then, a day later, after she received it, she received a notice - oops, the order was canceled. They sent me a cancelation notice with NO EXPLANATION! When I asked to understand why they would do such a thing and make me look like an idiot - all they said was it was flagged as a security concern and they can't say more. A gift card as a security concern? Really? I'm disgusted - will never buy and ensure that everyone I know won't either.

I had called the restaurant L&J to get a gift card for friends 25 wedding anniversary. I was so embarresed. The restaurant does not take your card. I want to talk to a live person to dicuss this problem. Urgent. I willl not lose that money. I live on SS and can't afford another. Put my money back in my account so I can get a card they take. I was given a $50.00 gift for Christmas.. Gift code ZOU2KUTVJ23G I tried doing as you say, but they kept insisting that my gift code was invalid 9 or 12 digits neither one work I was supposed to use it for Empire City Casino, but I did not. My niece and her finance work hard for their money, so I hate for them to lose the $50.00 Being 85 years old, I could sure use it. I purchased a gift card for my nephew for a restaurant that is close to his place. I live in NY and he lives in Wisconsin. Thought this was a good idea. I placed the order, got a confirmation and a nice card to print so I could mail it to him. I see my credit card was charged the cost of the gift plus a fee. I was just informed the gift card was cancelled. I inquired as to why but all I got was it was cancelled by their security team and that they can't release any details. I asked if I could purchase again but I didn't want the same thing to happen. They have no answer. All I got was they have no say in the decision making process of the security team. Are you kidding me? I am a customer purchasing a gift card for someone and the charge went through. Can't image what the issue is. They should be able to provide me with an answer. What a joke. I will never use this platform again and will post this on social media.

My son gave us a giftrocket gift for Christmas, he recommended a place that would require transfer to our bank which would take 5 days. We opted for one of the listed eGift card options so we could use it today. The Walmart ecard we chose is apparently going to take 5 to 7 days to process. My son already paid for this gift and Walmart states an eGift card purchased from them arrives in 60 minutes. I find it strange and scammy that with giftrocket it takes 5 to 7 days and it's a listed business on their site.

I was on the website of a local restaurant and decided to buy a gift card for Christmas to give a gift. Unbeknownst to me I was sent to this site ( I was not paying attention). I thought I was buying from the Restaurant; however; I sent the e-card to me in order print it and gift wrap it. Thank goodness I did. I print it I look at it and there is no mention of the Restaurant and instructions to go to website to redeem! I open my receipt and without being told before I bought, that there was a $4.50 processing fee. ****** learned I thought and proceeded to see if I could open card. Well I did and the options floored me. They can redeem it for cash by forfeiting their bank info or ask for a card? Then when I tried to see what was available the website just had spinning polkadot and gave no options. So, I tried to contact them through email, which unless you take screenshots the emails are untraceable. I wanted it cancelled. I called and left a message still no response, because you cannot talk to anyone, you have to wait for a call back. I checked my Ccard and it was pending as of yesterday. Today there is not a charge on the card, so now I am really annoyed. I reopened the Gift Rocket site and behold everything is working...says I have $50 Card. I am not going to redeem it. I have always steered clear of these types of cards, simply because they leave money in their pockets after the process charge. You always have to know the EXACT balance in order to spend it all. After two days and apparently I am going to have to monitor my CC to be sure they do not charge me. UGH! It is Christmas, who wants this hassle.

Update: Since I could not print the card in time to gift wrap and it took them 2 days and me constantly returning to website, I bought a different gift. I sent various emails and called them as required. I heard nothing from them. Today Christmas I went in on the site and redeemed it for a $50 Amazon card ( I will not give them my bank account info) and it will take them until Dec. 28 to send the email. If it does not show up on Dec. 28 I will get in touch with my CC and have them reverse the charge. I did return to the Restaurant website and verified no where did it say I was purchasing a card from GiftRocket and there was a fee. Never again will I purchase a gift card online...Never.

My brother sent me a $25 gift card. Giftrocket wanted my bank info, but I was not comfortable entering that. So I opted for an Amazon gift card, but there was an apparent error in executing that. The Giftrocket site said "look for an email", but that did not arrive. My brother canceled the e-gift. I think he will be lucky if his credit card actually gets credited. I think the good reviews might all be fake.

My husbnad gave me GiftRocket card for my birhtday. I did not want to use it for the suggested business and opted for the cash transfer to our Bank Account (my husband did not use this account to purchase card). I got email from GiftRocket that transfer was initiated. Next morning I got email stated that my husband has canceled this gift card. My husband DID NOT canceled card. He felt really bad, it was my birthday gift. It is not a good company. We will never use it again and we will file complain with BBB.

I received a wedding gift 4 years ago that the purchaser reminded me of. It was a $200 giftrocket card for a restaurant. When I went to redeem it a few days ago, it would not load (it was sent as an email with a link). I emailed [protected]@giftrocket.com, and they replied that it expired after 3 years per their terms. No where in the email, the card, on the website in the FAQs nor terms does it mention an expiration date. I don't know where the money goes, and it doesn't make sense that neither the purchaser or the recipient can't get it back.

An attorney friend of mine referred to client to my finance company, and right after the transactions closed I sent her a $200 gift card to her favorite restaurant via giftrocket to thank her. She never thanked me, so after a long time went by I embarrassingly asked her if she got it because I didn’t want her to think I didn’t thank her. She said she didn’t, so I contacted giftrocket and they confirmed it hadn’t been used so cancelled the original one and allegedly resent another one. She never got that one, checked her spam folder which automatically deletes emails after a certain time which had already lapses. I called and spoke to someone who said they would look into it and get back to me, but no one did. I contacted giftrocket again via email and they just said someone used it and that was all they could do for me. It’s a total scam and I will never use them again.

I went on your site and tried to redeem a gift card . I received no such card . I chose Amazon with gift code is :HY2X2BC14 . I tried doing this on 10/8/2022 .Where is my gift card ? It was not sent to my Amazon account . I was told an Email with the info to redeem would be sent to me and I never received that email .This process should not be this difficult . Please help !

I ordered a razor’s edge card and still haven ‘t received my money back. I got an email from Briana I would get a refund. [protected] please call me about my refund.I bought the card online. I bought it on my debit card master card.

I asked for $200 Cdn to US funds. They took $288 out of my TD Canada Trust Account.

I cancelled the whole thing and now have to wait how long to get my money back

What a scam company they are. no customer service live agent to complaint to.

What can I do?

I will put this all over media to never use them.

A friend sent me a $200 gift card. Gift Rocket sent info on how they will deposit in my account. After a few weeks it still wasn't deposited, they sited some security issue (20 days later). They then not only not deposited the money in my account they took $200 out. There is no number to reach anyone and e-mail is returned about every 3 days. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They cancelled my gift card and didn't give me a refund. So pissed who the hell is this company? They have not gotten back to me and I never got the refund and my friend never got the card I cannot believe this company exists like what
