Photography and Videography
Downright horrible experience from start to finish. If you want to look back at the photos and videos of your wedding and be disappointed, then this business is for you. I'm embarrassed to show my friends and family the majority of the photos and both videos I received from George Street. The quality of images and videos looks like an amateur took them. Only ONE usable photo of me and my father walking down the aisle, shaky and abrupt camera work while video tapping our reception speeches, I could go on. I was promised that the photographer has experience working at my venue and she didn’t which led to a chaotic picture taking experience.
I would never recommend this business to anyone. They do not hire experienced professionals, take no accountability for the quality of their work and don’t care about your feedback to actually improve. For a business in the wedding industry, they don’t care that they're ruining people's weddings. Sickening.

Our wedding was scheduled for May and was cancelled in March due to Covid-19. Since then, George Street has contacted us multiple times to ask us to schedule our wedding, even though our state does not allow us to have gatherings of more than 3 households. They've asked us repeatedly to pay in full for services that have not been rendered, and cannot be rendered due to state and county guidelines. It's been nearly a year and George Street still refuses to refund us for wedding services that the state and county governments literally will not allow to happen.

Our wedding is forced to be cancelled due to COVID-19 and George Street Photo & Video refuses to release us from our contract and refund us in full for our deposits. They have rendered no services to date and have rescheduled/cancelled our engagement shoot multiple times to the point where we never even got those. They have offered to refund us a very small fraction of our deposit which is unacceptable given that absolutely no services have or can be rendered due to the impossibility of holding this event.

Our venue cancelled our wedding reservation because of COVID-19 (the venue is owned by the city government, so this was a government ordered cancellation). I called George Street and told them about this and asked for a refund, as it would be illegal to have our wedding on the scheduled day at the venue - they refused the refund, despite claiming to be "sensitive to the current situation" and "willing to work with us in these hard times". All of our other vendors were understanding and happy to issue us a refund.. except for George Street. Later, they contacted us (about one or two weeks before our original wedding date) and told us that we still owed them the remaining 50% of the payment (total of ~$1400). I told them that we were not going to pay them 100% of the cost when they've done NOTHING for us so far. After we left them a negative review online, they reached out and agreed to postpone our photo shoot until our wedding was rescheduled. I called and spoke with them twice and asked for a refund because we have no idea how long we would have to wait until the pandemic was over and we're hurting for money (like everyone else). We were planning on getting married in a courthouse, so there would be no need for a photographer. Both times I asked for a refund, they refused. I called them last week to inform them that we had finally found a new wedding venue and had a new date set. I told them that the wedding would last for ~45 minutes (it's a "micro wedding") and asked if our photographer was available on that date. They told me that we would have to still pay the FULL PRICE for EIGHT HOURS of services, despite our wedding only being 45 minutes long. They are still unwilling to give us a refund. There's no way we're going to pay ~$1400 for 45 minutes of pictures.

Me and my fiance will getting married on June 20th I asked them well in advance when covid-19 started if there's a way that we can cancelling it because our venue was canceling everything. And that was in March. They said that they won't cancel it they'll just postpone it but there is no refunds. as the month went by as in April everything got a lot worse so my venue you did cancel. So I talked to a director named Katie ***. so from the negotiating back and forth they were going to give me a credit for the whole amount and use at another time and refund me $125 we sign the contract on May 10th.it's two months later and I haven't received $125 from the contract. doing this is going to be going to litigation to collect all of the money plus lawyers fees but I would like to let people know what they did to me. even the original photographer that we wanted to have even called out because he didn't feel safe so their own employees for calling out and not wanting to do the job tells you something. Covid-19 is very serious and clearly they don't take it that way. They just want the money. they promised me $125 and to use the remaining credit for a later date but that was two months ago.0
