I was shopping around for a pool company who I could trust with my home. A company that would give me a great price with great quality work. We called Gappsi. From the first meeting to the last one their communication was great! We decided to go in a gunite pool. Gappsi was amazing at creating the prefect vision for our pool. They designed an amazing pool that accommodated my four small children. A beautiful sun deck where the children and I can lay and soak up some sun! Also a grand jacuzzi, where we can sit and relax with friends. Gappsi is so amazing they even installed artificial turf around my children's playground. It is so soft, clean and beautiful, the kids play there for hours. We were so grateful that we chose the right company to trust with our home. We are so glad we found them. Thank you Gappsi for creating such a wonderful backyard for my family!

We all heard the quote "You get what you pay for". My three surrounding neighbors were all putting in paver driveway and they all looked good. My third quote was from Gappst and was the highest of the three. I sure could use that extra cash for something else. Giuseppe told me the importance of a solid foundation, his would be 12", while the others were less. Three years passed and everyones driveway still looked good... Here we are over a decade later, now this neighbor has ripples in his driveway, the other one has crabgrass and who knows what growing in between the pavers and the third allowed a heavy duty truck on his driveway and you know what happened there. I'm glad I went with my gut feeling. Two years ago I had Gappsi clean and seal my driveway. It looked pristine...almost new. As I said in the beginning, there are no shortcuts or bargains, we always get what we pay for, and when we do take the shortcut we always seem to be doing the job over twice.

GAPPSI DID WORK FOR ME OVER 20 YEARS AGO, INSTALLING A NEW BRICK PAVER DOUBLE DRIVEWAY, STOOP AND RAISED FLOWER BED AT THAT TIME IT WAS THE OWNER HIMSELF GIUSEPPI WHO DID THE WORK. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH GAPPSI'S WORK AS THE STONEWORK STILL LOOKS GREAT. GAPPSI IS CURRENTLY DOING WORK FOR A NEIGHBOR AND GIUSEPPI THE OWNER WAS VISITING THE JOB SITE. HE SAW ME DOING SOME WORK IN MY GARDEN AND STOPPED BY TO SAY HELLO AND REINTRODUCE HIMSELF. OVER 20 YEARS AND WE STILL REMEMBERED EACH OTHER. WHILE WE WERE TALKING I MENTIONED SOME PAVER STONES HAD COME LOOSE AT THE NOSE OF THE STEP AND ASKED WHAT I COULD USE TO REPAIR THEM. GIUSEPPI TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY THEY HAD THE JOB GOING ON AT MY NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE AND THAT HE WOULD SEND HIS MEN OVER TO REPAIR THE STEP. I CAN ONLY SAY THEY WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO AND THEY CONTINUE TO SHOW THEY ARE A CLASS ACT. I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED GAPPSI IN THE PAST AND CERTAINLY WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO GOING FORWARD. Gappsi is a reliable and professional company that provides excellent stonework services.

We decided to use Gappsi for a large renovation project and we are so happy we did! The project included redoing all the stone work facades around our home, curved retaining walls, a large porch and steps, another stoop, a couple of very large patios (including a pool surround), an outdoor fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. To say the work they did was outstanding is an understatement! It is world class from beginning to end. Working with Greg was a true pleasure as he was always available to answer any questions or address any inevitable concerns, and he had some great ideas. Their pricing was very fair and the materials that were available to use were amazing! We didn't want to do the standard pavers which are also very nice, but they had a selection of natural marble and travertine products that we did not see anywhere else! The end result is stunning... but most importantly were the workers that did the job. They literally worked from early morning until dusk, and were the most accommodating people to have around. They were respectful of our property and took huge pride in their work, and their work was truly magnificent. So look no further because Gappsi will not disappoint!

Highly recommended! The Gappsi team and Mr. Giuseppe Antonelli have once again earned my respect, appreciation and sincere gratitude for the magnificent job they have done at my home. The original project was done almost 5 years ago and this year I submitted a request for service to repair/replace stones in some areas that were damaged. The Gappsi team responded quickly. They made no promises because of their existing, heavily booked schedule but within 2 weeks and a total of two brief visits they repaired the problems and my yard was back to its magnificent original condition. These guys really stand behind their work, even five years later! This year 2020 provided us with significantly more ‘home time' and each time we set foot into our backyard we were so thankful we made the decision to go with Gappsi for our backyard project. I would add that Giuseppe was the only contractor to present a layout that made the best use of the space in a way that nobody else could have imagined. The moment the job was complete, we knew that for as long as we live in this house, we would be enjoying this backyard in a way we never would have imagined possible and here we are five years later still feeling great about this decision. In 1993, Guiseppe installed the pool patio around the new pool we had put in. That was 28 years ago! The pool deck is still in perfect condition and there has been no settling at all. The reason, I believe is that Guiseppe took the extra effort to use rebar in a real cement bed and attached those bars to the pool itself. He took no short cuts. His English wasn't the best back then. In 1999, we completely rebuilt our home. The contractor we used then installed the patio by our house. Unfortunately, that patio didn't hold up as well as Guiseppe's work did. The waves on this patio made it really hard to have a level table to sit at. Not sure what to do, I looked up Mr. Guiseppe to see if he was still in business. To my surprise, I found his number and phoned. His sister answered and took a message. Sure enough he phoned me back and knew exactly who I was. Could you imagine? Soon after he came over and I showed him the areas where the other guys' work had failed. Joe looked at it a few minutes and said okay. Okay what I thought? He walked away and said he'd be in touch. A couple of weeks later his guys show up and fix the waves in the patio within a few hours. We asked the workers “what do we owe you"? They replied “Guiseppe got your back", there's no bill today. That my friends is all you really need to know about him. He's a “stand-up" kind of guy that you can count on. He made me feel like family. In my world, we refer to people like him as “Salt of the Earth". His work is rock solid, just like him. If you need a reference, please feel free to instant message me. As far as I'm concerned, if he can fit you into his schedule, use him. I can't be more direct.

Last summer, I decided to build the backyard of my dreams. After seeing Gappsi's portfolio of backyard renovations, I was beyond impressed with their expertise in masonry work and design. My vision for the backyard was the “Four Seasons" hotel. I wanted an atmosphere that felt like you were on vacation. After meeting Giuseppe the owner, I knew I was in good hands. I appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. Emanuelle, Giuseppe's son created several designs of my backyard that specifically tailored to all my needs and more! Their showroom had a great variety of stones to choose from. I decided to use “mocha" travertine for my patio and “classico" travertine for my pool coping. I wanted a water feature that felt upscale. Giuseppe advised me to install several jets that would spray from the ground into the pool. This idea was brilliant! He recommended “nantucket" stacked stone on the raised foundation walls around my entire home. I wanted my backyard to have 2 grand entrances that had matching “wedding cake" staircases, using both mocha and classico travertine. We decided to build a small retaining wall around my entire backyard to polish and accentuate my thuja green giants backdrop. The retaining wall also created an enormous amount of seating for entertaining which I loved! Roberto was the foreman assigned to my backyard project. Roberto and his crew were fantastic. They worked around the clock to meet my deadline. Their workmanship was meticulous. They delivered the elegance and sophistication I wanted! This project was expensive but totally worth the investment! Giuseppe surpassed my expectations! My backyard blows the four seasons away :) Hiring Gappsi was the best decision!

It's been more than 10yrs since Gappsi delivered an amazing makeover of my property. The stunning paver driveway, walkway, patio along with jaw-dropping evergreen royal garden development provides endless enjoyment for the family with minimal maintenance.In November, a portion of my walkway had to be taken down due to sewer main replacement work. It was upsetting that the plumbing company not only removed the pavers of the walkway, but heavily damaged it as it is easy for them to finish their work. Once the water main replacement work was completed, I reached out to Gappsi for assistance immediately. Fortunately, Giuseppe, the owner of Gappsi, responded to my inquiry promptly and made a visit to my house the following day to assess the situation. On his visit, he performed a thorough inspection throughout the entire property, not just the damaged walkway; then, he politely informed me with details on his planned repair work and assured me that the walkway would be put back as before. He really put my worries at ease that day. Before his departure, he asked me if I had any rainwater issue in my basement as he noticed the grass of my back lawn had grown higher than the patio, which affects the water drainage. I acknowledged his question and told him that it's been a headache for me lately but not sure what can be done to resolve the issue.Three weeks later, Gappsi finished their magical work and the paved walkway was back better than before. The Gappsi team also repaired and replaced other minor chipped pavers throughout the property, which is beyond the scope of the work. Furthermore, the Gappsi team raised the top step of my basement stairs to prevent rainwater from running into my basement. Gappsi delivered exceptional work once again. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. Giuseppe's thoroughness and attention to detail is second to none. I sincerely thank Gappsi for everything, so I may joyfully enjoy the holiday season.Thank you Gappsi! Thank you Giuseppe!
