Went on line to purchase a Raleigh 29IN Mason Mountain Bike just to be told that the specific bike I was looking for has been discontinued. If the GAME franchise advertises a product and they do not have the product it constitudes false advertising. Please remove products that is no longer sold by GAME. I wasted my time and effort just to be negatively impacted by this

Order details #[protected] on the 23rd June I placed an online order for
Mainstays 7 Pce Carbon Steel Non-Stick Pot Set and on the 24th June I received confirmation that my order has been dispatched from the warehouse and its making its way to me. I have since been waiting for your courier partner to contact me with my tracking information.

When I follow up on the numbers provided below they keep on promising that they will contact me back later or the next day but in vain; I also keep on following up on the email provided and I am getting the same vain promisss [protected]@game.co.za or call us on [protected]; can I please get my order ASAP or refund me sothat I can purchase the same order elsewhere where they value customer service.

My name is Awonke Magoda. Would like to launch a complaint with one of your stores (Game in King Williams Town) . On the 13th of March 2020 a returned a TV for repairs it just went blank and did not want to switch on. I have since been waiting and I've been calling for the past 4 weeks and they have been telling me that they are waiting for paper work for me to take another tv don't know what kind of paperwork takes 4 weeks to be completed. I am very furious with your service and regret buying something from Game because your service is very bad how can it take 4 months for me to get my TV back? This is really nonsense and I'm going to escalate this problem further you can't treat me like this with my hard earned money. Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Generator

I bought 2 generators; one on the 17th october at game mthatha plaza a second one on the 2nd november 2019 at game mthatha circus triangle. Before february they were already dead (they were not starting at all). I managed to take them both to their respective stores on the 24th of march. I wrote an an email to them on the 1st of july to enquire about the repair process and later that day that I received a call from them advising me to collect them "as they were ready". I went to collect them, to my surprise they were not starting still. Apparently they cannot not test them for me to confirm that they are fixed. Unfortunately I cannot drive more than 60 kms to and from the shop to get a generator only to drive back when its not fixed. Please, can I get my money back, so I can get another generator somewhere else.
This frustrated me a lot. I have lost so much in my business. There is no electricity where I work, I use a generator. This has costed me and my family, emotional, financially and socially.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za A product I ordered online and I have not received anything but my order status states "delivered".

This company's service is poor because I bought cellphone online on the 24th may. They said the product will be delivered in 7-10 days and I waited until day 12 but I have not received my product. I'm disappointed and I tried to contact the online customer service but they said i'm going to be called back as soon as they follow up. Until now I haven't received anything. The way i'm disappointed I do not want the product I want a refund and i'll go buy my item somewhere else where the service is more effective than this. Game workers are unethical and unprofessional I don't know what they get paid for.

To whom it may concern my refrigerator has been broken since the 30th of march.
Due to the lock down I was told that all technical services will resume after this period. On the 5th of May customer services were contacted I was told that technicians were not being sent out due to the covid circumstances.
I then contacted LG directly to come have a look at the fridge who sent out a technician on the 25th of May. Paper work was sent to game Pavillion. I also took it upon my self to contact Collin Raman the store manager. I was told to email a copy of my slip an he would call me back which he failed to do.
I told him I could not come during the week as I was working he then told me I could come through on the weekend and pick out a new refrigerator he failed to tell me that systems were being upgraded and that deliveries would now be on hold.
I went into the store on Saturday the 30th of May.
I picked out a new refrigerator an was then told I cannot do the purchase because deliveries are on hold( I still have the old fridge that needs to be picked up) I then spoke to a woman named Jali who took all my documents and allowed me to purchase a give card which was a sum of R4000 to pay the difference for the new fridge I picked out. She told me my pick up an delivery would take approximately 2 weeks today is almost 3 weeks. I spoke to Jali at the store on Monday she told me she would give me an answer that same afternoon which she failed to do. Understanding that there may be issues on the stores side I did not call them I decided to be patient and wait yesterday was a public holiday. When I phone the store today the phone rings while I'm being charged for the call when I eventually call back they tell me the store manager is at the warehouse the person from the large appliance department is also at the warehouse with the auctioneer an conveniently Jali is not at work. The staff at the store are absolutely unhelpful they do not give direct extensions to contact anyone. I still have not been helped I have no refrigerator from the 30th of March. Loyalty to customers out the window people are unbelievably lazy.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Zed book ii laptop

I purchased this product on 6 may 2020. After 2 weeks the screen began freezing, I could not use the keyboard to access the product. Tabs would not open. It took me 3hrs to type a 1 page word document. I took the product to game store gateway on 16 june 2020 as I had purchased it there. The sales technicians tested it and experienced some of the faults themselves instore. I was told that it might be a hardware or software issue, but the unit needed to be booked in, allowing for a 21 day process. I was told that this is the procedure and they are sorry for any inconvenience. I told the manager that I was not pleased as the product is one month old. I have no faith in this product and requested a refund. I was told that it was up to head office and their offices would be closed as it was a public holiday. I relented and allowed this. Upon arriving at home, I opened the box to discover that the unit was not even booked in but rather in the box at home with me. I am beyond frustrated about this and would like to take matters further regarding this as I feel my rights as a consumer are no longer being observed.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Defy washing machine

Good Day

My name is Nodene Roux.
I bought a defy washing machine at Game liberty midlands mall in Pietermaritzburg in 2016.
I paid extra to add extended warranty.
I went through to Game store to log a job for my washing machine that just stopped working in April 2020.
I did not get assistance due to lockdown.
I then went in May and the guys from the washing machine took my details to log the job, I then called to check the progress but they were still waiting on feedback as it was still in lockdown stage.
I understood.
Then in June I called again as we moved to level 3 and all repair places and selling of washing machines were in operation again, as well as Defy to purchase parts if need be. I spoke to the manager Vaughn, he said he is making it his priority, this was 2 weeks ago.
I then called on Friday 12th June which was 2 weeks after he told me it's his priority.
He told me that the technicians can not come out due to Corona virus and he contacted the warranty department to find out what to do next, he told me they will reply on Monday 15th June which is today, I did mention to him that this is going to be the second time my washing machine has to be repaired, if a technician can not come out then I will need a new washing machine as I have paid for extended warranty and this is not fair on me.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Negative attitudes towards customers

I would like to report an incident which has been occurring on numerous occasions at game key west shopping centre. I did turn a blind on the 1st and 2nd incident it occurred with hopes that the individual will see their fault however their behavior is really appauling. I have raised the issue with her colleagues but it seems like it's falling on deaf ears. Today was the icing on top because she deliberately did not even follow safety regulations by sanitizing me. She clearly has a vendor against me which makes feel I am not the only person she is giving attitude to. I find such attitude very disturbing as I am customer to the shop. I question the level of professionalism and standards from game very disturbing. The level of service has gone to the dogs I tell you and that will be the downfall of the company. Please fix her (nthabiseng) attitude and morals as I will not even recommend the company to anybody.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Negative attitude from nthabiseng

I've had superb service at the Game store in Key West. However since the new recruits in White came along as cashier. I have not been happy. There's a girl Called Nthabiseng with Grey hair. Her attitude is disturbing. She is utterly shameful towards customers and I must add I went for Corona Virus testing recently and I have been careful, however she refused to sanitize me, just gave me a lazy eye roll. Could be personal, but it ruins my whole store experience.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Telefunken tv purchased online

I ordered a Tv via the Game online portal on Monday, 8 June 2020 at 10: 18am. I then sent through the required documentation for the order to be released, i.e a copy of my ID and my tv licence number as per the email sent to me.

My order number is [protected].

I called in numerous times to follow-up on my order as it still reflected an 'on hold' status and was informed by the consultants that it would take 24-48hrs for my ID and TV licence to be verified and the order released.

It has now been over 72 hours and the order has still not been released for delivery. Each time I call I get a different reason why the order has not been released for delivery.

I finally requested to speak to one of the managers who confirmed there was a backlog and it would be delayed. However, the process to verify the licence is not more than 5 minutes. So why has it taken over 4 days for this to occur even though it has been escalated to head office thrice?

I would like my order to either be released for delivery or a full refund.

I also lodged a formal complaint with the consultant (ref: 545195) and have recorded my calls should there be any disputes of fact.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Bad service delivery

Good day,

I would like lay a formal complaint against Game online store. I placed an order on the 1st of May 2020 for baby essentials avoiding going to the stores as there is rapid spread of Covid-19. Since then, until today I haven't received anything from them and according to their website delivery is between 7-10 working days. It has been more than 10 days my child doesn't have enough food, nappies and other baby essentials as I ordered quite a lot of items hoping that they will deliver in the nick of time.

I've complainted via several consumer platforms with no luck I even called the Game call center and I was told that my order will take time as I am based in the township to my surprise that was not mentioned on their website. Can someone help me because I don't know what to do anymore and my child is suffering the most from the whole ordeal. Game online has been giving their customers very bad service a lot of complaints have been logged against them via social media platforms. Can someone take a stand to help us as the consumers we don't deserve this kind of treatment.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Complete dissatisfaction for me

I want to bring to your kind attention that I have purchased a Goldair Slim Fin Oil Heater from your online store four weeks back, and was disappointed that it hasn't been delivered till today. It didn't even leave the house expecting the delivery.

I have written a follow up email letter and made countless unpicked phone calls for the order status, but to date, we have not got any response. It was a complete dissatisfaction for me.

I have made the payment online through my Capitec account. I would be very thankful to you if you could look into the matter as to why this delay has happened and provide our refund at the earliest.

I bought a printer from game waterfall on 9.5.2020. I had a challenge using it as it required download of the application to connect to the printer, my phone was not compatible to the app required. I when back to game to try and change for a better printer that did not require installation. Bit I met met the costumer service lady who was very rude and told me I cannot exchange if it's not broken, she called the line manager who was also very rude and didn't even want to speak to me about my problem. I had a very bad experience the the game staff this Saturday 16.05.2020 at game. I still have a printer that I can't connect to use. (my email [protected]@gmail.com) call [protected]

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Carpet

Hi

I placed and order on the 20th March 2020, I then received an email on the 13th April (attached) and I proceeded to wait for my item as I was in no hurry for my item.
On the 25th April I received the below email to say BOTH carpets have been dispatched to me yet when arrived I only received 1 of the 2 carpets, being the smaller carpet. I actually needed the bigger carpet.

I tried calling the called centre [protected] many times and couldn't get hold of anyone. I then decided to go to your Game store at Rosebank to exchange the smaller carpet for the bigger one, which I was unsuccessful as they lady said this isn't part of an essential service and they were not able to attend.

Later that day I tried to call the call centre again on the 11 May and eventually got hold of Nazeer, I explained to him that one 1 carpet was delivered and when can the other carpet be delivered? I also explained to him that I went to the store and they were not able to assist me.

He said he tried to get hold of the warehouse but they not answering and he would phone me back which never happen. I then called again on the 14th May and spoke to him again and explained to him the story again.

I also asked him to get his courier to pick up this carpet and credit my account so that I am able to go and purchase the correct carpet from the store. He was not helpful at all and I have to constantly repeat myself numerous times. When the parcel arrived I opened the box and threw away the box and waybill. It was only once I opened the carpet that I realised there was only 1 carpet in there and that is when I tried to call the call centre to advise them but received no response.

It is not almost 2 months later from the time I purchased this carpet online, it seems like it is an issue for your courier company to collect the 1 carpet and credit my account, If I knew purchasing online from Game would be such a problem I wouldn't have done so in the beginning.

I would really appreciate it if someone could contact me to get this resolved and Nazeer is of no help. He is extremely rude and speaks over me when I am speaking, if your calls are recorded I would want someone to listen to how rude he actually is.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Complain about poor service, no feedback and refund due not received

I bought 2 tablets online on the 12th April, One was marked as Essential and the other was normal. It was during lockdown and the essential staff was 5-7 day delivery. I enquired on the 20th April to find out how far was the order as I bought the tablet for my son to do school work on it. I called several times with difficulty in reaching them and month end April 29 I called to ask for a refund as I am not pleased with their service, I was told the refund takes 7 days and they have send my request to marketing, followed up on the 7 May and my query is still with Marketing. Today's day is the 13 May and I haven't received my funds. Very disappointed with how the run their sales on line and secondly I feel devalued by them as they didn't treat me with respect and don't have service level agreement. They don't respect me as a client, If had had put my money on the interest bearing account Atleast I would have received interest for it. I can't even go and buy from other store as they have my money. I am without tablets and money for a whole month and I wouldn't refer anyone to such service

it was Saturday the 1st of May 2020.
I was suppose to get it within 5 days to 7 days but I have not. and what I don't really get is I also made another online order from Incredible connections and they did deliver.
