Food Lion review: Rude employee

To whom it may concern at Food Lion customer relations:

I am writing to inform you that I received a troubling notification from two friends of mine who are currently employed at the Food Lion grocery store on Easy Street in Greenville, NC concerning an employee at that location. I was told a cashier by the name of Connie (a middle-aged, African American woman of medium complexion and approximately slim to medium build) has been gossiping negative, insulting jokes and insults of a personal nature about me on occasion.

Connie has been a longtime cashier at this location and on personal visits to this store, I too have observed her sometimes snicker at or make fun of customers, occasionally flashing dirty looks of apparent annoyance or mockery toward shoppers behind their back. I have also noticed that she sometimes shows a reluctance and grudging attitude when transacting customer purchases at the cash register.

I am seriously considering abandoning this Food Lion location in search of another grocery store with a less hostile staff and more comfortable atmosphere.

I am a woman who wishes to remain anonymous, but am writing to inform you of this problem and of the petty disrespect and hostility being contributed to the culture of your otherwise pleasant, convenient, friendly, Easy Street location.
