The Food Basics store at Albion Rd. and Thisledown Blvd., (Bostock Plaza) had their shopping buggies stolen some time ago. Since that time, the buggy situation has been dire, with few buggies available, especially in peak shopping times. This morning, I, a Senior, went to the store to find that there was not one and I mean, not one, cart in the stalls. When I approached a store employee, he said, well, we only have 40 buggies and I guess that they are all in use. Walmart's buggies and No Frills. shopping carts were stolen as well. Walmart and No Frills have since replaced the stolen buggies, but Food Basics has not. I am not able to carry a basket around the store, so therefore I took my business elsewhere. This situation should be rectified instead of just saying that because they were stolen, we have to make do with the ones that are left. As I was exiting the store, there were other customers waiting for someone to come out and then, follow them to their car to retrieve their buggies. This does not make for a very happy shopping trip.
Desired outcome: purchase more shopping carts
