I found the numbers I needed for my front door on Factory Direct Hardware's website. They were exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't find them anywhere else. The numbers arrived quickly and in perfect condition. However, there was one issue. The number 6 was sent instead of a 9. It didn't line up with the 9 that came off of my door. Despite this, I still give them 5 stars because the product was great and arrived quickly. I will definitely order from them again. I gotta say, I had a bit of a tough time using Factory Direct Hardware's website. It was kinda frustrating trying to figure out how to access the "comparison table" after I added some items to it. And don't even get me started on trying to find out how much shipping was gonna cost me - I had to go through the whole dang checkout process before I could even see that! And when I wanted to change the quantity of something I was ordering, I had to go all the way back to the original item page. Ugh.

But hey, it wasn't all bad. One thing I did appreciate was that there wasn't a minimum order requirement. And even better, when I ordered two of the same small item, they didn't charge me extra for shipping. So that was a nice surprise.

Overall, I'd say that Factory Direct Hardware has some room for improvement when it comes to their website. But if you're willing to put up with a little bit of frustration, you might just find some good deals here.

Product and shipping were great! I got everything installed already. I messed up my address when I ordered online, but I called and talked to a rep who fixed it all up for me. The service was great. I had a question for Factory Direct Hardware and asked it online 48 hours ago, but nobody answered. I received my product, but when I opened the shipping box, I found an intact package with two spring hinges and a loose third hinge, eight loose screws, an empty torn plastic bag, and a torn open and obliterated hinge box. Unfortunately, I did not receive everything I paid for, as the allen wrench tool and locking pin for the third hinge were missing. This means I cannot lock the third hinge to maintain set spring tension. I am disappointed with my experience with Factory Direct Hardware. It is possible that the items were thrown into the box, and the little pin could have easily fallen out through a hole in the corners of the outer box. However, it is also possible that the items were not intact in the packaging and were thrown into the box. Overall, I am not impressed with my experience with Factory Direct Hardware.

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the products I found on Factory Direct Hardware. I had been searching high and low for some specific items, and this was the only place I could find them. But man, oh man, their website is a real doozy. I mean, I'm no tech wizard or anything, but even I could tell that there were some serious issues going on. I recently purchased some Copper Creek handles from Factory Direct Hardware and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. While the handles themselves seem to be of good quality, there were no instructions included in the package. Not even installation templates! This made it difficult for me to figure out how to install them properly, especially when it came to changing the handles from left to right handed. I had to use a thin round prawl to push the release pin through the tiny hole in the handles, then switch them around. It took me a while to figure it out, but I managed to do it eventually.

I think it would be really helpful if Copper Creek provided some instructions in the package or online on how to install the handles properly. Not everyone is handy with tools and some customers might end up installing the handles upside down for left swing doors. This could be avoided if there were clear instructions provided.

Another issue I had with these handles is that Copper Creek has changed the country of manufacture from China to the Philippines. While this might not seem like a big deal, it has resulted in a slight change in the handle design and bronze finish. This means that the new handles don't match the original ones I installed in my house two years ago. It's a small thing, but it's still annoying.

Overall, I think the Copper Creek handles are a good product, but the lack of instructions and the changes in manufacturing have made the installation process more difficult than it needs to be. If you're handy with tools and don't mind a bit of trial and error, then these handles are a good choice. But if you're looking for something that's easy to install and matches perfectly with your existing hardware, you might want to look elsewhere.

The website of Factory Direct Hardware is functional, but there is room for improvement when it comes to searching for specific items. I was on the lookout for a range of letters, starting with the letter A. However, the website did not display any other letters as links beneath the letter A, which would have been a logical way to present them. Even when I searched for "Solid Brass Letter," I did not find any letters. I also tried selecting all products for the manufacturer, but still could not find the letters I was looking for.

Eventually, I had to use the navigation tree to go up one level, and only then could I see all the letters. This was a bit frustrating, as it meant I had to backtrack after each letter. To avoid this, I used the "open link in new tab" feature so that I could keep the main page open and move through the letters while keeping my place.

Another issue I encountered was that Google forms did not recognize the input boxes, so I had to type in all the fields in full. On most websites, all of the order information gets filled automatically for me, so this was a bit of a hassle.

So, I had ordered some Kwikset 740CHL Commonwealth Keyed Entry Levers, but they didn't have the SmartKey option that I wanted. I reached out to customer support to see if I could exchange them for the ones with SmartKey, but they wouldn't even give me an address to send them back to! Eventually, I got a reply from someone named Mike Plank who said they could waive the restocking fee if I placed a new order for the ones I wanted and gave him the order number. So, I did that, but then I never heard back from them about the exchange.

It's been over a week now and I'm still waiting for the RGA. I don't know what's going on over there, but it's not a good look. I wouldn't recommend buying from them unless you're prepared to deal with some serious frustration.

We are not sure if they have any drop-shipping agreements with manufacturers, but it seems like they are just doing this as a side hustle. Unfortunately, for us, they only took our money and never delivered or communicated anything.

I recently made a purchase from Factory Direct Hardware and bought two handsets for my front door. Unfortunately, one of the handsets came in the wrong color and I have been trying to get information on how to return it for over a week now. It has been a bit of a hassle trying to get in touch with customer service and figure out the return process. However, I was finally informed that I need to order another handset in the correct color and provide the new invoice number to send back the incorrect one. This process seems a bit cumbersome and could have been made easier. Despite this issue, I am still satisfied with the quality of the product and would consider purchasing from Factory Direct Hardware again in the future.
