HISTORY
Sometime during the nineteenth century, dog fanciers in England, Ireland, and Scotland began to experiment with crosses between Bulldogs and Terriers, looking for a dog that combined the gameness of the terrier with the strength and athleticism of the Bulldog. GENERAL APPEARANCE
The American Pit Bull Terrier is a medium-sized, solidly built, short-coated dog with smooth, well-defined musculature. This breed is both powerful and athletic. The body is just slightly longer than tall, but ### may be somewhat longer in body than dogs. The length of the front leg (measured from point of elbow to the ground) is approximately equal to one-half of the dog's height at the withers. The head is of medium length, with a broad, flat skull, and a wide, deep muzzle. Ears are small to medium in size, high set, and may be natural or cropped. The relatively short tail is set low, thick at the base and tapers to a point. The American Pit Bull Terrier comes in all colors and color patterns. CHARACTERISITCS
The essential characteristics of the American Pit Bull Terrier are strength, confidence, and zest for life. This breed is eager to please and brimming over with enthusiasm. APBTs make excellent family companions and have always been noted for their love of children. Because most APBTs exhibit some level of dog aggression and because of its powerful physique, the APBT requires an owner who will carefully socialize and obedience train the dog. The breed's natural agility makes it one of the most capable canine climbers so good fencing is a must for this breed. The APBT is not the best choice for a guard dog since they are extremely friendly, even with strangers. Aggressive behavior toward humans is uncharacteristic of the breed and highly undesirable. This breed does very well in performance events because of its high level of intelligence and its willingness to work.
The American Pit Bull Terrier has always been capable of doing a wide variety of jobs so exaggerations or faults should be penalized in proportion to how much they interfere with the dog's versatility.
HEAD - The APBT head is unique and a key element of breed type. It is large and broad, giving the impression of great power, but it is not disproportionate to the size of the body. Viewed from the front, the head is shaped like a broad, blunt wedge. When viewed from the side, the skull and muzzle are parallel to one another and joined by a well defined, moderately deep stop. Supraorbital arches over the eyes are well defined but not pronounced. The head is well chiseled, blending strength, elegance, and character.
SKULL - The skull is large, flat or slightly rounded, deep, and broad between the ears. Viewed from the top, the skull tapers just slightly toward the stop. There is a deep median furrow that diminishes in depth from the stop to the occiput. Cheek muscles are prominent but free of wrinkles. When the dog is concentrating, wrinkles form on the forehead, which give the APBT his unique expression.
MUZZLE - The muzzle is broad and deep with a very slight taper from the stop to the nose, and a slight falling away under the eyes. The length of muzzle is shorter than the length of skull, with a ratio of approximately 2:3. The topline of the muzzle is straight. The lower jaw is well developed, wide and deep. Lips are clean and tight.
Faults: Snipey muzzle; flews; weak lower jaw.
EYES - Eyes are medium size, round to almond-shaped, and set well apart and low on the skull. All colors are equally acceptable except blue, which is a serious fault. Haw should not be visible.
Serious Faults: Bulging eyes; both eyes not matched in color; blue eyes.
TEETH - The American Pit Bull Terrier has a complete set of evenly spaced, white teeth meeting in a scissors bite.
Fault: Level bite.
Serious Faults: Undershot, or overshot bite; wry mouth; missing teeth (this does not apply to teeth that have been lost or removed by a veterinarian).
NOSE - The nose is large with wide, open nostrils. The nose may be any color.
EARS - Ears are high set and may be natural or cropped without preference. If natural, semi-### or rose are preferred. ### or flat, wide ears are not desired.
NECK - The neck is of moderate length and muscular. There is a slight arch at the crest. The neck widens gradually from where it joins the skull to where it blends into well laid-back shoulders. The skin on the neck is tight and without dewlap.
Faults: Neck too short and thick; thin or weak neck; ewe neck; dewlap.
FOREQUARTERS - The shoulder blades are long, wide, muscular, and well laid back. The upper arm is roughly equal in length to the shoulder blade and joins it at an apparent right angle.
The forelegs are strong and muscular. The elbows are set close to the body. Viewed from the front, the forelegs are set moderately wide apart and perpendicular to the ground. The pasterns are short, powerful, straight, and flexible. When viewed in profile, the pasterns are nearly erect.
Faults: Upright or loaded shoulders; elbows turned outward or tied-in; down at the pasterns; front legs bowed; wrists knuckled over; toeing in or out.
BODY - The chest is deep, well filled in, and moderately wide with ample room for heart and lungs, but the chest should never be wider than it is deep. The forechest does not extend much beyond the point of shoulder. The ribs extend well back and are well sprung from the spine, then flattening to form a deep body extending to the elbows. The back is strong and firm. The topline inclines very slightly downward from the withers to a broad, muscular, level back. The loin is short, muscular and slightly arched to the top of the croup, but narrower than the rib cage and with a moderate tuck-up. The croup is slightly sloping downward.
HINDQUARTERS - The hindquarters are strong, muscular, and moderately broad. The rump is well filled in on each side of the tail and deep from the pelvis to the crotch. The bone, angulation, and musculature of the hindquarters are in balance with the forequarters. The thighs are well developed with thick, easily discerned muscles. Viewed from the side, the hock joint is well bent and the rear pasterns are well let down and perpendicular to the ground. Viewed from the rear, the rear pasterns are straight and parallel to one another.
Faults: Narrow hindquarters; hindquarters shallow from pelvis to crotch; lack of muscle; straight or over angulated stifle joint; cow hocks; sickle hocks; bowed legs.
FEET - The feet are round, proportionate to the size of the dog, well arched, and tight. Pads are hard, tough, and well cushioned. Dewclaws may be removed.
Fault: Splayed feet.
TAIL - The tail is set on as a natural extension of the topline, and tapers to a point. When the dog is relaxed, the tail is carried low and extends approximately to the hock. When the dog is moving, the tail is carried level with the backline. When the dog is excited, the tail may be carried in a raised, upright position (challenge tail), but never curled over the back (gay tail).
Fault: Long tail (tail tip passes beyond point of hock).
Serious faults: Gay tail (not to be confused with challenge tail); kinked tail.
Disqualification: Bobbed tail.
COAT - The coat is glossy and smooth, close, and moderately stiff to the touch.
Faults: Curly, Wavy, or sparse coat.
Disqualification: Long coat.
COLOR - Any color, color pattern, or combination of colors is acceptable, except for merle, blue or gray.

HEIGHT and WEIGHT - The American Pit Bull Terrier must be both powerful and agile so actual weight and height are less important than the correct proportion of weight to height. Desirable weight for a mature male in good condition is between 35 and 60 pounds. Desirable weight for a mature female in good condition is between 30 and 50 pounds. Dogs over these weights are not to be penalized unless they are disproportionately massive or rangy.
GAIT - The American Pit Bull Terrier moves with a jaunty, confident attitude, conveying the impression that he expects any minute to see something new and exciting. When trotting, the gait is effortless, smooth, powerful, and well coordinated, showing good reach in front and drive behind. When moving, the backline remains level with only a slight flexing to indicate suppleness. Viewed from any position, legs turn neither in nor out, nor do feet cross or interfere with each other. As speed increases, feet tend to converge toward center line of balance.

With no dates on any of the 3 pending charges. I did not authorize these or request credits of any kind from this website. I tried calling the number above and was told by recording to go to this address c. Facebook.com/credits to refute these charges. I agree with kirads09, You can fill out a form at your bank, and they can get the charges reversed, also. I have never had any trouble with Facebook not reimbursing me with money that was charged on my account, when it was coming to me.
I have had dealings with Facebook, and unless you have a receipt from them, because they always print out a receipt for you, or notify you thru your email. So the thing to do is talk directly to them, and print out your bank statement and they should be able to find the mistake, or maybe somebody else could be using your account at Facebook. Whatever it is they should be able to find the problem.

The owner of this company continues to throw venom at the local animal shelter and its volunteers. She is in a dog bakery business for money. She has no regard for the animals at the local shelter. Apparently a friend of hers wanted to adopt a dog and there application was denied. Because of this the shelter is dysfunctional for making a denial in the best interestes of a Dog. She attacked on FB the shelter, it's volunteers, and the animals. The shelter is run solely on donations from the community. No one should be supporting this business and its hate. It was so bad Facebook removed her comments.
I saw screen shots of this business owners heated comments about a local animal shelter on the net. . It's sick! She used to support this shelter. Now she supports another shelter in another city. She is in a animal business and could care less about this shelters animals. I have friends that volunteer there. They are not happy. Plus she was attacking a volunteer that denied a dog adoption. I know the comments she made where removed by FB because they where so horrible. God bless the workers at animal shelters. Word of mouth will get around. I know my friends and family won't be buying from her. We support the local shelter and all it does.

She will ask you to pay via Paypal but as a "personal gift", this makes it impossible to get your money back from Paypal when you finally realize that you have been ripped off. IF you do pay as "services, goods" then make sure that you are aware of your 45 day mark to file a claim because Ashley will give you many excuses as to why your dress isn't ready until that 45 day mark has passed and then she will STOP responding to you altogether. Ashley's favorite excuse is "My rhinestones haven't come in yet"...LOL. She finally shut down her FB page, Eden's Little Cuties, but I'm sure she will pop back up as another name and continue stealing other people's hard-earned money. BEWARE OF ASHLEY CARTER, SHE DOES MULTIPLE CONTESTS FOR LIKE $12 EACH FOR THE FIRST 10 PEOPLE THAT COMMENT, THEN SHE TAKES YOUR MONEY AND YOU GET NOTHING.

I bought a dress back in act and was supposed to have it by the end of nov- I paid a rush order fee and everything- I kept getting the run around that they were waiting on stones but it would be ready in time and so forth til 5 days before the pageant I needed it for! I finally got it 2 weeks late! it was 2 sizes to big and didn't come with the bow or socks as promised! I got to looking on the internet and the EXACXT same pics she had on her fb are on a pageant dress website in china where you can have them ordered! she was ordering these from that website then claiming they were custom made! I also ordered several of the little gifts as they were stating abouve- one was a natural dress I was told that shipped 3 weeks after I bought. well that someone how got lost in the mail but I was never given a tracking number- I also ordered a Christmas outfit that was supposed to be in a month before Christmas-I got it 3 days before Christmas so we didn't even get to really wear it! theres also another pageant dress I ordered, and about 3 other smaller outfits ive ordered AND PAID FOR that I never received. weve been lied to time and time again. ive been told stones were lost, her assistant lost tracking numbers, her assistant had the oufits shipped to one of her customers instead of her and she was waiting on that customer to send product back. ive sent several requests for my money back and I don't get any responses. its nothing but a scam!
No, it is NOT lies! I, too, have been scammed by Ashley Carter! I bought over $160 worth of clothes and NEVER got ANY of them! I ordered a cupcake dress the first of Nov and NEVER received it as promised! I was told that my orders were shipped! I never received any of my orders and when I asked for a refund she suddenly couldn't get on the internet or answer messages bit could post on her personal page..hmmmm...So, you tell me who LIES! Them she had a " friend " post on her fb account that she couldn't get on the internet and was having problems finding stones. Funny thing is, her friend had the same ip address as her...hmmmm Then she closed down her fb page ...I have not seen any of my orders or gotten any of my money back nor have ANY of my emails, calls or texts been returned! So, yeah, Im just a little upset!
Lies. She did have some stone order issues and she posted it on her page several times to let everyone know. Also she has told me the store is just temp. Closed until she can get caught up not deleted. She has answer all my emails as well as emails of other people I have talked to. It's a small business and everyOne has problems sometimes. She promises that she is making it right an I believe her she even sent me a dress to use that she had until she can complete my order. Her prices are very reasonable and the dress I have is good quality. Yes it is taking a long time but for the price and the quality it's worth the wait.

My girlfriend had her taxes done at Premier tax advantage. She went into Premier Tax advantage to pick her completed taxes up, and the employee known as Karrie Bates-Dickert asked my girlfriend if she knew me ( I am not a customer of this business), My friend replied that she did. The employee then went on to slander me and state that I, have been having "affairs with two different men, behind my boyfriends back" that I "became pregnant" and had "abortions" as a result of these FALSE affairs. Karrie then went on to call me a "[censored]" and a "slut" and other defaming statements. This employee made completely FALSE statements about me while at her job at Premier tax advantage. This is horrifying and brings to mind this individual is trusted with confidential financial information, if slander and defamation is going on in the place of business, how can Karrie OR Premier tax advantage be trusted with sensitive confidential information? This is the way the owner and employees conduct themselves? By slandering and defaming their public?! I have contacted the local police department, the BBB and a lawyer on this matter. I called the owner Mary Bell Ashley and she still employs Karrie Bates Dickert to this day. I have researched the credentials of Mary Bell Ashley and Karrie Bates Dickert and they hold no certificates with the ICAO, CMA or CGA.
