EZPAWN review: Warning, don't recommend shopping at EZPawn shop!!!

I would not recommend EZPAWN shop at all, I visited the one on North 23, McAllen, I placed a gold necklace on layaway yesterday, today I went by too check the length and gold weight, I noticed that the necklace had a link that kept twisting, I thought about the defect and the amount of money I was paying, so I decided to cancel the layway. Well because I was a few minutes over the 24 hours of cancelation they kept the $270.24 down payment, I stated, but I just put it on layaway yesterday and they told me I was a few minutes late and they couldn't even give me in store credit.
The greatest complain is that they did not tell me about the rules when I put it on layaway and no where in the shop is it stated, but they said it was on the receipt. I have shopped at other pawn shops in McAllen and have never run into such shady business. I would not reccommend shopping at EZPAWN Shop! Biggest mistake of my Life!
