Eversource Energy review: Pole replacement / repair

The electricity carrying pole on my street had been condemed some time agao by another company. However, nothing was done in years?, Months?
Eversource responded promptly to my report of flikerring lights and appliance malfunctioning. The grounding cable to my house had snapped appart because the pole at the street, was rotting and leaned into the street, being held upright by the electric cables, still attached to my house.
A six men repair-crew in 5 trucks arrived a few hours later. The for-man informed me of the plan to replace the pole in its entirety and to expect a short electricity outage later on. The crew worked for many hours through the night, removing the old pole, installing a much larger pole and transferring the wires. They worked through the night in freezing temperatures with snow showers. I am still impressed, amazed and immeasurably thankful for the dedication, expertise and coordination by this well trained crew. The power-loss was short, during the middle of the night. Next morning, with early spring sunshine, the street was clean, clear and elecricity supply secured to my house and the neighborhood.
