Eversource Energy review: Dangerous disappointment

First of all, I want to say how great I think their line workers are in getting jobs done when assigned deficiently period but this repeated problem continues to happen time after time after time where an event happens. And I lose power, and I try to find accurate data on who's not getting power on their outage maps, and they are completely wrong. Saying that my area has power when it doesn't. And then I sign up for their notification. For my property and I get emails saying, in this case, you're power will be restored at 9:02 PM. This evening, so this 61-year-old nurse with a poppy, decided to rough it out a few more hours of cold to make it to the 9 o'clock deadline. 9:02pm comes and passes. And now it says 930pm power restored estimate, and now it's 8 o'clock the next day in the morning and they still have the estimated power return at 9:30 yesterday and my house is now 39°. And we had a rough time surviving, my dog and I last night, trying to stay warm and avoiding hypothermia, which was caused by their direct statements, saying I was going to have power back by 9 o'clock. Yesterday, so I did not seek help at a shelter, which was going to be difficult regardless because at the same time, I lost my truck, which has to get a new transmission. And that's $8000. So it's been sitting in the dealership for a month now. Not getting fixed because they overbook there repairs. And even though I paid 60 grand for my truck 50000 miles ago I have to wait in line to get my truck back... anyway. I'll see what happens today. But I'm not sure literally, I'm going to survive. I'm another night like last night without help. I just wanted to document it somewhere. Because people freeze the death all the time. And I don't think really, these energy companies rarely care as long as the money keeps coming in. And many times people don't even hear about their stories. The fact that they have a restoration time. And then you go back to check it. And the one they had over 24 hours ago. It is still up even though clearly it's not going to happen. Makes me realize that all they're doing is putting up random times and kicking the ball down the road and then dealing with the repercussions later I truly feel that all they want to do is shut people up and stop their complaining and will do anything to accomplish that including mislead and lie.
