Epoch.comcredit card charge

This compnay attempted to charge my credit card and when I called and asked them why, they told me that I was not in thier system.

I asked why then are you attempting to charge my credit card. They would not provide any answers as to who or what the charge was about.

This was a fraudulent charge attempt.

Get this off my statements now or I will take further action

They said they would send me a cancellation confirmation email. Still have not received it. Best thing to do is cancel your credit card all together.

          Hello:

From March 2009, Epoch.com charged me for a subscription and refuses to let me know what service was supposed to be sold to me. I went onto the website and fill out the forms with my credit card # but the forms constantly tells me my email is wrong.

How can I force Epoch.com to give access to my account in its website? I would like to know what product is charging me. I barely sign up for anything on line, only once in a while I would sub-scribe to certain sites.

Thank you in advance. Below is the Epoc confirmation # from my credit card.

You can go to epoch.com and cancel any charge they keep good records and with a email address they can find the account and work with you. If your know your login at whatever site they claim you signed up for and your email address you can cancel the subscription at their site without ever talking to a Human.

Epoch is the billing site for many sex/porn sites. They also do billing for some Game sites.

After reading some disturbing information regarding this website and other fraud/scam reporting blogs- I attempted an early cancellation of a video subscription billed through epoch.com. The online 'cancellation' process simply presents the user with a confirmation of their account data and provides no method of actually initiating the cancellation, i.e., no button or box to click.. STAY AWAY from these guys. I've already contacted my CC company requesting they do not honor any subsequent rebilling attempts from epoch.com. In fairness, they provide an email response capacity and I await their email reply to my query regarding their apparent 'dead-end' cancellation process.

Epochfraudulent charge on my debit card

I noticed an unauthorized charge of 59.99 on my card and called the company to find out why I had been charged. The rep I spoke to on the line claimed that my card was used to sign up for a pornographic web service. The rep was extremely argumentative and kept insisting that someone has my card although it has never been out of my possession. I was given a confirmation number and told the service was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days, although I could have sworn he intially told me 2-3 business days. I opened a dispute with my bank and hope I won't have to do anymore to get my money refunded. This is a total SCAM!!!

You may go to the Epoch.com site and find out what you are being billed for. If it turns out your cardholder data was stolen and used without your knowledge, you should immediately close your account and contact your bank to report you card number as compromised/stolen. Unauthorized use of a credit card or false claims of unauthorized use may be prosecutable offenses.

Epoch.com is a third party website that allows for 'discreet' billing on your bank and credit card statements. Often, the company you originally did business with is an adult website. If you've ever signed up for a free-trial of any sorts (even for products) it's very likely that it's coming from them. You have to fill out a form on the epoch.com website for the payment to be accepted, so it's often a legitimate charge that people either forget about, or don't realize. You can dispute the charge with your bank if it's on your credit card, but canceling the number won't necessarily stop them. They're very proud of their billing practices, and 95% of the time their charges are legitimate. It may not even necessarily have been you: think of who has access to your cards (spouse, children, friends, family) and try to get to the bottom of it. To make it stop, you have to cancel with the original company you did business with.
Also, this website is a complain forum for EVERYTHING not 1 company specifically. They won't reply to your email because you didn't send it to anybody. The address for the website you're on is complaintsboard.com, it's not a company, it's just a forum. You were charged by a company - you have to complain to them
